I'm a student of 1st year of graduation, In the last three year my weight is increasing day by day. I feel so embarrassing front if my friends. I was of 45 kg in class 10 and now I'm of 60 kg. Due to weight and hyper tension I start losing grace of my skin. I became short tempered and also sometime I overreact on any type of matter. Hi lybrate-user Weight gain is a big problem now a day. U are gaining weight due to hormone and metabolic imbalance in body. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement. U avoid high carbohyrdate food exm. Chapati, rice, bread. U can use high protein diet exm. Pannier, egg, pannier. Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. Sample diet plan:- a) breakfast - Russian salad with boiled eggs. B) lunch - cooked vegetable + 1 chapatti +salad +curd. C) dinner - paneer tikka or chicken tikka with green chutney d) snacks - dry fruits and nuts with green tea or lemonade. You need to follow a healthy lifestyle. 1. Eat well – Take a balanced Diet comprising of 45% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 25% protein, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Don’t over eat. Avoid junk, spicy, oily, high calorie, cholesterol rich diet, don’t skip your breakfast. Take warm, homemade food. Avoid food and drink from outside. Don’t skip or postpone your meal. Minimize consumption of refined grains like white rice, white bread, sugary or refined food. 2. Keep hydrated- Drink 2 liters /6-8 glasses of water daily 3. Do regular exercise for one hour daily like brisk walking/Jugging etc 4. Take adequate rest- 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night is required to remain healthy 5. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation etc 6. Find time for relaxation and enjoyments with friends and family 7. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control emotion, improve concentration and relieve stress 8. Develop hobby, Learn new skill 9.Go for detail Annual Health check up.

As the periods come on proper time but the amount of menstrual flow is very low and do not last for 2-3 days. It means that your hormones that control the the periods (menstruation) have normal cycle but the amount of hormones are less than normal that's why the flow is scanty. *for normal & adequate menstrual flow get up early in the morning and take a fast walk for atleast 15 -20 minutes. If you can run, then run atleast for 3-5 minutes. * practice bhujangasana (cobra postion) & pawanmuktasana everyday only under the guidance of yoga expert. * check out your thyroid profile & in case of abnormal reports get the proper treatment of it. * monitor your weight & if you are overweight then do more physical activities & change lifestyle to reduce the weight so that the peroids get normal. * eat more green leafy vegetables & avoid fast foods having high refined starch & fat. * you can take dashmoolarisht for your scanty periods only under the supervision of ayurvedic doctor. It can make your hormones level normal and make your periods regular.

I am taking eptoin 400 mg per day with folic acid. Some time when I take vitamin tab with this dose my pee turns into green. During this when I drink huge amount of water it become white. So what is the reason of green pee?

Green colour of urine could be due to high dose of b complex including folic acid. Don't worry about it. Avoid taking high dose of b complex tablets with folic acid.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Baldness with genetic background is always strong, where no medicine help to regain the lost hair but every kind of medicine will help to maintain the existing hair. If the cause of baldness is like hormonal imbalances and lifestyle issue can easily resolved and even some time help to get back the lost hair. The life style causes are 1) high sugar content foods they are termed as zero calorie food like where it has no nutritional value other than sugar and fat. Where a body require vitamins, mineral along with the food which is not available in the processed food and softdrinks now a days. So try to consume more fruits naturally ripen and naturally grown without more fertilizers. Infection lead to immediate damage to body and you gain immunity against the infection at one point of time but the inorganic chemical used in processing food will make irreversible changes in the body and more lead to cancer. What it means, the rotten food is best when compared to chemical processed food. Now a days fruit are preserved with chemical where it will never get rotten and there we loose our nature. 2) next the consumption of smart phone for long time which invariably lead to stress and sedentary habits. The sedentary habit will make the body wastage's to retain in body and will lead to so many problem. So try to do exercise and play games rather than dwelling in smart phone and computer where wastage's are removed through sweat and by which the kidney will get some rest and will be very active. By doing exercise the sugar is consumed by cell naturally without the insulin due to stretch and oxidation. The retained wastage's in body will make abnormal hormone sensitivity and imbalances and cause so many problems like hair loss even. Change the life style and you may regain the hair again if that is not genetical. Take care.

IN HYPOTHYROIDISM:--- Deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. For fair & glowing skin : • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water twice a week. • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi ( turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week. . • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it once a week. • Eat More fruits daily. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion .

Scrub your face once in two days with a good scrub. Apply a good face pack of besan and yogurt Apply aloe vera gel daily. Daily wash your face with AHA glow, use tea tree toner after that. Apply sunscreen daily.

If you drink so much water it has to come out, even then you can get your blood sugar fasting, pp and HbA1c to clear any doubt and consult a physician with reports. He will clinically evaluate and also rule out diabetes insipidus.

You probably have an irritable bowel or some mild infection of gut. Its because of exaggerated gastrocolic reflex. Please eat a little less than your fill. Take probiotics like enterogermina, lactobacilli powder. You are lucky you don't have any other symptom.

It suggest that you are ovulating and that is normal. 19mm follicle also may get ruptured within a day or two. That means you will have another ovulation.

A drastic change in the life style habits and this modern world people face many health issues in their daily life. Obesity is one of the major health issues that most people are affected with.

Obesity or being overweight is a condition characterized by excessive storage of fat in the body. When the body's calorie intake exceeds the amount of calories burned, it leads to the storage of excess calories in the form of body fat. Increased body fat puts a person at risk for many critical conditions such as heart disease, liver damage, diabetes, arthritis and Kidney problems.

The most common cause of obesity is a lack of physical activity, intake of excessive carbohydrates, fatty and junk food items. It might be even due to pathological or hereditary cause. Ayurveda gives many natural home remedy measures to reduces the body weight and to get rid of obesity.

Ayurvedic View

In Ayurveda, obesity is known as Medarog, which is caused by the aggravation of Kapha. Kapha is an Ayurvedic humor which is dense, heavy, slow, sticky, wet and cold in nature. It governs all structure and lubrication in the mind and body apart from controlling weight and formation of all the seven tissues - nutritive fluids, blood, fat, muscles, bones, marrow and reproductive tissues.

The Ayurvedic line of management begins with the pacification of Kapha Dosha. This can be done by eliminating Kapha-aggravating foods from the diet. Next, the focus is on cleaning of the Medovahi channels through cleansing herbs so that excess weight can be reduced.

Ginger (Zingiber Officinale), Salacia Reticulata (Kotahla Himbutu), Garcina cambogia (Vrikshamla), Commiphora Mukul Resin (Guggul) and Nigella Sativa are the commonly used Ayurvedic medicines to cure obesity.

Natural Ayurvedic home remedies for managing weight

  1. Lemon juice and honey: The best and simple way to reduces weight is drinking one cup of warm water mixed with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey in empty stomach.
  2. Triphala powder: Mixing two teaspoon of triphala powders a natural herb easily available at homes with 500ml of water and allow it to boil for 5 mins. Strain the liquid and drink it regularly to burn the excessive fat stored in the body.
  3. Make cabbage as your best friend: Take one cup of cabbage daily. Cabbage contains tartaric acid and this helps to convert the sugar and other carbohydrates into fat.
  4. Vyaayaama: Simple exercises are also much essential to be done alone with other remedial measures to reduce the body weight
  5. Avoid Sugar: Avoid white sugar and starch from diet. Prefer brown rice and other cereals in the diet.
  6. Control your excessive eating habit: excessive eating of junk and fast foods is the most important cause of obesity. This should be avoided and learn to eat healthy and right food at regular interval. Have only three meals per day. Diet controlling does not mean fasting so it is best advised to have small meal at regular interval.
  7. Herbs: Herbs like Bibhitaka (Terminalia belericia), amla (Emblica officinalis), Guggul , Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) are effective for reducing the body weight.

There are many other naturally occurring items that feature prominently in managing obesity with Ayurveda. The key aspect to understand here is that Ayurveda stresses on the natural and easy ways in which one can lose weight without having to undergo mental or physical stress and strain.

There are many reasons of having mouth ulcers, but you need to find out what is the root cause of the ulcers as there is no treatment unless the root cause is identified and that is fixed. All the treatments like applying lozen or creams is a symptomatic therapy. Check for stress, nutritional deficiency, hormonal imbalance, sleeplessness.

Abhijeet ,dont go by the advertisements,if such was the case then nobody would have being short of height .There is a specific age for increase in our height and theere are certain medicines which help in increasing the height .But once calcification of bones occurs then theere are no chances of height increase .So dont waste your time and money on such adds otherwise you can ruin your life by falling prey to such quacks.
