2 years ago when I fell and hurt my knee pain that still has not been resting,tell me some drug treatment]

Knee advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I'm 33 old unmarried man, I always thinking about health. I feel like I'll get heart attack. I have done all tests all r normal. I know I'm ok but my conscious mind is not agree for this. I'm doing yoga n all but not use. And now days my heart is palpitating fast after wake up only. Taking clonotril 0.5 mg at night. I need treatment without medication. How to I convince my subconscious mind I'm perfectly all right should I go for hypnosis therapy? Please help.

Hi Lybrate user, It seems that you are sufferring from anxiety disorder with hypochondriasis. That means excessive preoccupation with own health. When minor illness seems very big. You have to take antianxiety antidepressant medications such as SSRI selective seretonin reuptake inhibitor. Side by side you have to do yoga. Pranayam.meditation regularly. Focus on positive sides of your life. Delete negative thoughts. It is very much normal to have physical illness. But do not let it rule over you. Afterall none of us will escape alive at the end! so enjoy the moments. Take supportive medicines.

I am 25 year old and I want to know about skin cancer, my forehead skin getting black these days. What should I do? is it a symptoms of skin cancer? Please help me.

Hi, darkening of the skin on the forehead is not a symptom of skin cancer. It may be due to compression over the area due to your cap or helmet etc if you use them. Please consult a skin specialist if any of the above don't apply. You nay have to use some cream or ointment for a temporary period. Hope this helps. Take care.

What medicine should I take for oily skin. It makes my skin look dull. I get pimples also. Right now I'm taking berberis aqua q, 10. And applying calendula cream. And for pimples what cream should I use?

Hello, Stop using calendula cream for your pimples rather use Berberis Aquefolium cream on acne. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Management: Also, use Bakson’s Apricot scrub 1-2times a week on the area.

I am 25 years old baoy. I want to know about Typhoid. What is the symptoms of typhoid?

Hi, typhoid fever is a septicaemic and prolonged febrile state commonly caused by salmonella typhi and uncommonly s, paratyphi a, b and c. It is a faeco-oral disease. The incubation period varies from 3-10 days on an average. The symptoms of typhoid are as follows: - prolonged pyrexia, usually remittent - headache - abdominal distension - constipation followed by loose motions - malaise - vomitting - dry coated tongue -bradycardia - enlargement of liver and spleen. The duration of the illness is usually about four weeks but may remain for eight weeks or more if untreated.

Dear Lybrate User, *follow these best tips to lightens and remove the dark spots- 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the spots. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will remove the spots definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 5. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. 6. Avoid use of any cosmetic products. 7. Avoid continous long hours exposure of sunlight

You feel very pressure in job. Any burdens in job. Please analyse. Feel job as a comfortable manner. Do not feel it is burden. Because of your thought nature. You are getting much pressure in job. Maintain very good relations in job environment. Do your work in comfortable manner. Initially it is very difficult. But practice it. Because it is not one day matter. You have continue so many years. Think always positive manner. Start your work in a positive manner. Do every assignment in a pleasing manner. Develop smile attitude middle of the work. Hello, use sunscreen lotion minimum of Spf 30 before stepping out into the sun regularly. You can go for chemical peels which will take 4-6 sessions with a time interval of 15 days between each session by consulting a dermatologist.

I have ulcer problem in my mouth from childhood I am so frustrate about that what should I have to prevent from ulcers. Pleas said me.

Common cause of ulcer is constipation. If you have it than get it treated. Avoid oilly, spicy n hard foods. Apply dologel or mucopain ointment 3-4 times a day. You can also take b complex tablets 3 times for 5 days.

You need to work systematically to regain your focus concentration and memory. Please try following things and if you need any further help you may contact me again. Concentration is a mental skill that you can develop. There are two ways to improve your concentration: first, raise your brain's natural ability to concentrate. In other words, increase your attention. Second, adjust the environment around you to make concentrating easier. To improve your concentration takes a little time and effort, but it can be worth it. In my personal experience with students. This can make noticeable improvement in a relatively short time. Ideas for daily concentration-boosting habits include: mindfulness meditation - many studies confirm that 20 minutes of meditation or more per day improves concentration and attention span. Focusing on your breathing, known as mindfulness meditation, is one of the simplest way of meditation. Start with ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes before bed. Proper sleep -i am sorry to say it. Pulling all nighter will not help with your grade. Unless you are getting sufficient restful sleep, you are not going to be as mentally focused as you could be. Brain game -. The more you use certain skills, the more they are reinforced in the brain. So it makes sense that playing concentration games and games that require you to focus will improve your concentration ability. You need to be consistent in this. Play for about 10 to 20 minutes each day. Have fun, and get the benefits but remember not to spend more than 20 minutes a day. Your goal is to improve your concentration and not the score in the game! eat healthier - your brain needs the proper nutrients to allow you to focus. Eat more vegetables and fruits and avoid consumption of junk food as much as possible. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Exercise is helpful in both reducing stress and increasing focus. At-least 20 minutes a day would go a long way. Optimize your mental state & environment in addition to building the habits described above into your daily routine, also adjust your environment and your current mental state to improve your concentration when studying. Create a study spot. Your brain loves routine. Create a place where all you do is study. An obvious choice is a secluded desk of some kind, but the trick is to make sure you only study in that spot. Studying in bed is a bad habit, for example, because your body is trained to want to sleep once you get into bed. Remove distractions. Turn off the ringer on your phone and take other steps to prevent interruptions. Don't study with the television on or with talk radio playing. Some studies have shown that soft instrumental music (no vocals) can help improve your concentration. Block background noises. If you have to study or work in an environment where it is too loud (classroom or open space) or too quiet (such as at home or at a library) you can get easily distracted by outside influences. With the right amount of background noise you can actually block out distractions and enhance your creative thinking. Use time boxes. Set a time limit when you need to study new material. For example, let's say you want to read one chapter in a book (and remember it). Decide in advance that you can have 45 minutes to read the chapter, and 15 minutes to review it. Set a timer to keep yourself honest, then pace yourself to keep within the allotted time. Stay motivated with rewards. If you see studying as burden, it's hard to concentrate. One way to stay motivated is to set up a reward system. Tell yourself you have to earn that hour of watching your favorite show later in the evening by first completing one hour of intense studying. That way, even if the material is dry, you have the reward to look forward to. Take a break every two hours. You mental energy will begin to decline after a long period of study. So every two hours or so, take a ten minute break. Walk around, eat a light snack, or just stare at the wall to relax your mind. Concentrating is the first step to learning anything new. It only makes sense that if you improve your concentration, your memory will improve also. Wishing you very best,

So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging . Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes . • Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily . Please note that PCOD is a genetic condition & you are born with it so you need to live with it. Am I normal or mentally ill? im 28 male very simple and silent shy guy, but inside I keep having many kind of sick thoughts which is not in my control and I cant even share such stupid/bad thoughts. I have some girly looks and in childhood my cousin bro raped me (no 1 knows this). Since then I feels very insecure and feels like girl some times. I never been to co-education so, till age of 22 I felt afraid of girls and some time I left like have I became gay? but after joining to work environment, I feel attracted to girls n all at last I got my girl lover at age of 27, she is best n lovely thing happen in my life, again feel very stupid and over protect her and give her a caution about how guys do thing to approach her or touch her n all. Some time I cry n thinks that, if I leave her, she will get a good guy than me. I have even fight with her for no reason, but she loves me a lot n forgiven me for every thing every time I never been to fightings physical or verbal so, recently I got clash with some guys and while aruguing, I have seen that my whole body /voice was shivering. I dont know if it was anger or fear. Funny thing is I know kun-fu and dint hurt any one yet. In childhood I use to eat very uneven or fasting and im very weak n thin. Is this normal? what should I do for all my problems? any medicine like to prescribe? or im really mentally sick?
