Is it possible that if root canal treatment is not done properly or by inefficient dental surgeon may lead to internal tumour near the tooth ?

MDS - Orthodontics
Dentist,
Basically root canal is done to remove the infection within the tooth along adjacent root area infection and restore the tooth structure when it become infection free. If root canal is not done the infection may progress to adjacent root area and may lead pain, swelling or pus discharge with gum swelling too the term is not the internal tumor .

Hi there are various reasons of bad breath, like impurities in blood, inefficient digestive system, dry mouth (lack of saliva production), gum disease, cavities, plaque and tartar formation around teeth and gums, kind of diet, improper brushing / cleaning of mouth etc. I would advise you to get a thorough physical and dental examination to rule out the cause of bad breath and to solve it permanently. You can come for a consultation (free of cost) in our clinic.

For healthier teeth, flossing daily in a sawing motion is highly recommended. Take the floss to the point where the teeth meet the gums.

Hi lybrate-user, tobacco stains can go very deep inside the teeth, so you will need a complete scaling followed by bleaching for effective results.

I have undergone lower semi impacted wisdom tooth extraction during surgery the wisdom tooth that was being extracted broke into pieces so my oral surgeon removed the pieces & stitched that area but I feel that a teeth piece is still left inside that stitched area how can I find out if there is a teeth piece in or no?

I have undergone lower semi impacted wisdom tooth extraction during surgery the wisdom tooth that was being extracted...
The easiest way to find out is to get an x-ray, IOPAR (INTRA oral periapical radiograph) but also I would like you to know usually the impacted tooth is extracted by sectioning it into pieces and sometimes a small portion of the root breaks during this procedure. And in case bleeding is more while doing this (surgeon takes decision based on the xray and field of extraction site) if the nerve canal is in proximity to the root, a small 0.5-1 or 2 mm root is left inside and the extraction socket is cleaned and stitched. Also a very small root piece being left, over the years resorbs uneventfully. So need not worry about it. Hope this answers your query.

I brush twice times daily but still there is plaque on my teeth. How to clean ig properly so that it looks purely white?

All individuals requires scaling (cleaning) to be done atleast once in 6 months to maintain our oral hygiene clean. Our toothbrush is not much finely designed to clean all the plaque and calculi in the interdental areas of the teeth, which is the area where most of the calculus accumulate much and has to be removed regularly using scalers by the dentist.

Medications could cause excess flow of saliva. It' s possible that medications you're taking could stimulate salivary glands. If this is not too much of a problem, ignore it or else ask your doctor for change of medication.
