Impotency in Male and Female

Impotency in Male and Female

Males and females are afflicted by several types of impotency and dysfunctions which can negatively impact their relationship with their partners.

Erectile dysfunction, orgasm/ejaculation disorders or low libido are some examples of male impotency.

  1. Erectile Dysfunction (ED): Medical conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure, or anxiety about having sex can lead to ED. Other contributing factors to ED are depression, fatigue and stress.
  2. Ejaculation Problems: These include ejaculation that occurs early during coitus and the inability to ejaculate at all. Some of the causes for this can be history of sexual trauma, strict religious beliefs, antidepressants and anxiety about sex.
  3. Low Libido: Decreased hormone levels, illness, and medication side effects, and psychological issues like stress, depression and anxiety about having sex can lead to decreased or no sexual desire.

Loss of interest (low libido) in sex, difficulty in reaching orgasm, vaginal dryness and tightness causing pain during sex are some of the sexual problems that affect females.

  1. Low Libido: Lower levels of the oestrogen hormone can cause absence of sexual desire. Certain medications like antidepressants, fatigue, depression and anxiety can also lead to low libido.
  2. Difficulty achieving orgasms: Not being able to achieve orgasms or delayed orgasms can affect both men and women. Again, certain medications like antidepressants can cause orgasm disorders.
  3. Vaginal dryness: Sex can get painful if the vagina is not properly lubricated which in turn effects libido, arousal and desire. Hormonal changes during menopause and breastfeeding as well as psychological issues like anxiety about sex can cause vaginal dryness.
  4. Pain during sex: Vaginal dryness or endometriosis causes pain during sex.

For sciatica pain do have ift and laser physiotherapy treatment for 12 days and continue spinal flexion and extension exercise twice a day for about 10 minutes regularly use only firm hard and even mattress for sleep and calcium rich foods should be consumed regarding swimming is good but not during pain and can be only walking inside water till thoracic level to and fro and zig zag walking too may helpful, about 15 minutes in alternative days and if skin itching happens it is due to water problem so avoid using those pools regards

Why does a test taker need to be reevaluated if a disability (such as a learning disability, ADHD or autism spectrum disorder) is lifelong?

B.A. Psychology, M.A. Psychology, Ph. D - Psychology
Psychologist, Delhi
Although these conditions are lifelong, with intervention some problem areas can be maintained/ improved over time. Reevaluation helps your therapist / mental health professional assess and judge the effectiveness and direction of therapy and take course accordingly. In case some medication has been prescribed, reevaluation helps monitor the dosage.

Do not take any allopathic tablet. Could further worsen your problem. Go ayurvedic herbal instead. 1. Take ayurvedic remedies. 2. Do yoga and exercises which makes pelvic floor strengthen. 3. Take healthy and nutritious diet. 4. Staple salads in to your food. 5. Quit masturbation and watching porn.

I was suffering from viral, doctor advised me paracetamol, on third day the temperature goes up to 103 , doctor advised on phone to take Meftal 250 mg, in the next early morning I was having stomach pain, extreme gas ,and I fainted for few seconds and my son told me I have seizure for few seconds, 5-6 seconds, I never have seizure anytime before, doctor said it might be due to dehydration as I was not eating and drinking fluids much or due to reaction of Meftal medicine. I am better don't have any fever, does that seizure require serious attention? Do I need to worry?

MBBS, MD Psychiatry, DNB Psychiatry
Psychiatrist, Nagpur
Though the seizure in your case has a fair explanation on the basis if your medical condition (notably hypoglycemia due to loss of appetite and electrolyte imbalance due to dehydration), still it is advisable to completely investigate any" first episode of seizure" consult a physician, get a baseline eeg done and other investigations if necessary to rule out all possible causes of such episode, apart from your medical condition. Take care.

He vomit but after that he just feel tired. But whenever we go by rickshaw this problem is not appear. Sometimes with ac bus this problem not appear, sometimes in ac bus the same problem appear. Sometimes when he feel uncomfortable we change vehicle on the journey he feel comfortable in auto or rickshaw. But sometime on the way to school in the morning he vomit. Sometimes when go to park usually not vomit. But if we eat ice creams or light something he can vomit on the way to returning by rickshaw. His doctor , we talk to him regularly according to him my son has motion sickness and vomiting problem. But I think / in my view he has some chronic acidic stomach or some gastritis or some stomach problem. Please suggest.

CCEBDM, PG Diploma In Clinical cardiology, MBBS

1. As he is vomiting only during / after travel in a vehicle. This more likely motion sickness. Had it been s stomach problem he should have vomited at home also after eating any thing. 2. Does he get fever? how is motion? how many times he goes for motion? does he complain pain in abdomen? is he taking any medicine/ vitamines for any reason regularly do following 1. Make him sit on front seat 2. He should see in front 3. No spicy food before traveling 4. Keep windows open for fresh air 5. Do not talk about sickness in front of child 6. Keep music on and engage him in some conversation.

From a very young age, I have been sleepwalking. I often end up sleeping in the living room or sometimes even walk out of the house. In the past 5-6 years, I have been dreaming a lot. I dream every night, and have developed eye bags. One day I even sleep stripped. I woke up with my clothes next to my pillow, but did not remember taking them off.

You need proper evaluation and counselling. Consult a psychiatrist or psychoanalyst in your area for person to person interaction for better control of your condition. Good luck.
