Dear lybrate-user, - according to your height your optimum weight should be 58-63 kg. So I guess you can easily attain those figures pretty soon. But please keep this in mind that depending only upon the medicines will not serve the purpose. Please maintain a healthy lifestyle also - which is very necessary but often neglected when we deal with patients fighthing for weight-loss. Good nutritious breakfast - optimum lunch - and kight dinner is always a good habit. Be extremely strict not to have any pizza, burger, ice-cream-pasrty or any berevages or junk after 5 pm in the evening. Drink lots of juices and have more fruits. Avoid fried and deep fried things. I am hopeful that within one month you will be in the range of desired levels. This will greatly help. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Please update with your valuable feedback after 15 days.

Good that you thing about your health. Start brisk walking in the morning. Do some exercises or you can consult to a physiotherapist for an exercise programe according to your health. If you dnt have time to visit a physio you can call for home physiotherapy treatment. Some abdominal exercises are must as fat accumulates at the abdomen first. Avoid nonveg, oily food, junk food. Hello Doctor! My husbands age is 34, weight 78KG and Height is 5.4 He wants to reduce his weight. He has been walking daily from past 3 months for half an hour and drinks warm water with lemon early morning. His weight does not come down soon. We eat Daliya instead of rice. Is it that his Body is taking time to show results Kindly let me know the ideal weight as per his Height and and what all can be included in diet to reduce weight. According to his height his appropriate weight should be 63 kg.Weight loss is not a single day process.Do regular exercise like yoga,swimming,skipping,push ups,sit ups,plank,squat.Avoid fast foods,junk foods,processed foods.Avoid sugar,sweetened juice,fruit juice,soft drinks.Use healthy fat small amount.Use watery fruits,vegetables,whole wheat,whole grain.Take plenty of protein which will help to reduce fat and muscle development.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink water 3 lit/day.Drink water specially before meals.Proper rest.

You can follow some tips in daily routine. 1. After every meal, drink 1 cup boiling water with spoon sip by sip. After half an hour you have taken meal do this daily. 2. Try to avoid eating heavy food after 7 pm. As it takes time to digest heavy food. 3. Drink 1 glass water half an hour before meal. 4. Try to do some exercise. Yoga and meditation are very good in losing weight and maintaining it also. Yoga asanas you can do - manduk asana - sarwang asana - setubal asana - pawan mukht asana pranayama -anulom vilom -deep breathing - kapal bhati other exercises -crunches -cycling -leg rotation

Hello! I must advice go for small n frequent healthy meals with some activity. You can take good quality protein in your diet. Like- milk n products, dal & products, different type of millet etc. N visit a dietitian. It will help. The 1st thing you need to take care of is good quality protein, complex carbohydrate n good quality fat. N what you are taking before n after work out is also matter. Aim for around 40-50g carbs and 20-30g protein. This stabilises your hormonal system to enable tissue regeneration and keeps blood sugar stable. You can contact me on personal massage for diet plan.

You know not many people want to lose weight and they lose it at some point in time but they all gain it back, why because they have short-term goal most of the people want to lose weight because of some occasion is coming, there is a marriage party coming there is a birthday party coming there is marriage anniversary or there may be some other occasions but they gain it all back after that occasion because they had a short-term goal .

You know your body is the vehicle of your dreams if you want to achieve your dreams you need this body. You know what a tragic combination if you have an excited mind but a weak body. The people those who live hundred years of life they are thin and slim people. They achieve their goals. So if you want to achieve good health it cannot be a short-term technique or a trick. It needs to do with a lifelong principle. So my advice if you want to live a healthy life you have to combine your larger goal of your life with your health goal.
