Hi lybrate-user if your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

Follow health advises given below: measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food(If No drug allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. 5. steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days Consult privately for further management

Avoid smoke, dust, pollution and allergens. TReat rhinitis, reglux if any . Avoid over weight./ stress and anxiety. Can eat all foods if no aggrevation of symtoms.

Dear Lybrateuser, - To get rid of constipation you have to have a well balanced diet with more of fibre containing foods like fruits, vegetables green leafy as well as seasonal ones, whole grains including whole wheat, brown rice, oats, corn, legumes including beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas - avoid fried, spicy & junk foods, chew your food well, have meals on time, try to take a walk after meals - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water per day - have a glass of warm water with half a lime squeezed in it on getting up in the morning - take a tablespoon of isabgol powder & mix it in a glass of warm water & take it 1-2 hrs before bedtime - do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming for 20-30 min, also do yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily morning for proper digestion & to keep your body fit.

Apply nalpamaradi cocanut oil. Take little oil and make it luke warm and do massage in the effected part and leave it for 30 to 60 minutes and wash it off. Do it 15 days and inform the result.

I am not able to concentrate on my work. Everyday I wake, I used to ignore for going office and thereafter in evening I feel very stressed till late night because of pending work and the same schedule goes on. Now from the last few days, I am regularly facing forehead pain and dil kacha (like vomiting) and even tablets for gmhead pain are not working Some how I want to concentrate on my work, its not like I have a hectic schedule I just need 4 hrs a day but needs concentration and mood. please help me out Thanx.

Hi lybrate-user, Concentration requires a great amount of effort and time. Even if you practice it for one week or even a month, the result won't be productive if your brain isn’t performing well. Take rest. The biggest factor affecting concentration is rest and this has been approved by research. Concentration requires your mind to be calm. But your mind will be scattered if you are not well rested. Make sure that you get the right amount of sleep at the right time. Also have regular sleep time, and this can be the key step for concentrating. Sleeping too much is also not ideal. Oversleeping disrupts your natural rhythm and can make you lazy. Avoid this by having an alarm clock to wake you up in time. Make a Plan. Always have a plan for whatever you are up to. When you sit down to work without a plan, you may easily get caught in activities like checking mails, Instant messaging (chatting) and browsing the web. Without a purpose, you are wasting your time. You’ll find yourself distracted by a variety of nagging thoughts instead of devoting all your attention to one important task. To avoid this, make a clear plan that meets your needs beforehand. Take 5 or 10 minutes break in between, and use this time to check email, and then close your inbox and move on to your most important task. When making a plan be sure to allocate enough time for entertainment, studies and sleep. Meditate. The practice of meditation will definitely improve our powers of concentration. Actually, when we try to meditate, it is concentration that is the first thing we need to master. A daily period of meditation gives us the chance to work specifically on concentration techniques. Exercise frequently. The ability to concentrate depends a lot upon our physical well-being. If we are tired, unhealthy and afflicted by numerous minor ailments, concentration will be more difficult. Of course, concentration is still possible, but it is just more difficult. However, we have to try to make life easy for ourselves; we need to give a high priority to our physical health: Getting sufficient sleep Staying physically fit Maintaining healthy weight Getting regular exercise Help improve the flow of oxygen to the brain. Blood is the main vehicle of oxygen in our bodies. But blood gets pooled in the lower half of our bodies as a result of gravity, and doesn't push as much oxygen to the brain, where it helps improve concentration. In order to help oxygenate the brain, get up and take a walk every so often to get the blood pumping. If you're stuck at work and you can't really carve out the time for exercise, try doing exercises at work. These can include any number of things, including isometric or aerobic exercises. Try the five-more rule. The five-more rule is simple. Whenever you feel like quitting or losing concentration, tell yourself to do five more of whatever you were doing. If it's math problems, do five more problems. If it's reading, do five more pages. If it's concentrating, do five more minutes. Find the energy deep within to do five more of whatever you were you doing. All the best.

1.Sudden High Fever,Severe Headache 2.Severe Bone and Joint Pain, Pain behind eyes 3.Fatigue, Nausea and vomiting, pain abdomen, loss of appetitem 4.Skin rash may appear 2-5 days after fever 5.Blood platelet count is low and Dengue Antigen test(NS1) is positive treatment- If you are suffering from Dengue, Take one tablet of Paracetamol 500mg 2-3 times daily after food, drink plenty of water and take rest. Monitor blood platelet and if it is falling down and you develop skin rashes with bleeding episodes like bleeding from gum, nose etc consult doctor immediately

I was suffering from stomach pain and tightening in stomach from last 2 months. The treatment which I was taking did not give much relief. So Two three days back I went for endoscopy test, in which there is swelling in one portion. I was told that main reason for this is tension, which can be earlier tension also. But also this problem arise whenever I eat outside food. I also drink sometimes. It is now 2 months this pain is. I do not take much tension. So I want to consult how much time it takes to recover. And the reason why this problem is, and remedy for it.

The reason for gas and tightening of stomach is indigestion, decrease peristaltic movement means decrease movement of intestine which can be due to inflammation of internal mucosa which also came in endoscopy. This can be cured permanently with ayurveda and it may take 1 to 2 months to get cure completely. Egg white works well in order to lighten the pimple marks and the pimple scars. Take a fresh egg and break the egg, separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Apply this egg white on the pimple marks. After 10-15 minutes, wash with the cold water. Baking Soda Take some baking soda. Mix some water with the baking soda and apply this mixture on the pimple marks. Baking soda serves as an agent that carries out micro dermabrasion on the skin and helps to clear the pimple marks on the face and body. Tomatoes Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A, which helps nourish the dead skin while rejuvenating it. Get gastric endoscopy done to rule out gastric ulcers or to take a biopsy if some lesion is present which is causing vomiting with blood.

I am 30 years old. I just want to know how much minimum sleeping is required for being healthy. As I am working professional and I also need time for my self study. Basically 7-8 hours of total daily sleep is enough. This is all stress and worries of life. May be issues of married life/future marriage, you may be having insecurities and fear. Just relax. Ask yourself what bothers you? have a positive self-talk, and learn what are those things you don't like. You need to accept your self and move on. You need to take care of your lifestyle and learn to be happy. If you cant do it yourself, meet a life coach/ stress management super-specialist like me. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. At the age of 23 your height is not going to increase but Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit
