This indicates some obstruction to the urine flow. You should get uroflodynamometry, kft, urine tests, hba1c, ultrasound kub before a treatment plan can be advised.

I am 22. My weight was 46 only and I looked too skinny that all used to think I am still 16 years old boy. Recently I had taken a weight gain supplement, now my weight has reached to 58, I have found that I look a bit healthier or fatter for old people, but still new people tell me that I am skinny and specially my stomach is enlarged but my shoulder area and face look the same because of which I look still like kid. Hye. When a weight gain supplement is taken without a proper diet and exercise routine, it can at times cause unwanted fat accumulation. A supplement has to be supported by a right diet as well as exercise plan for a healthy weight gain. Try to maintain a healthy diet and start following a good exercise routine.

Dear Sir, After seeing a diastolic bp of 85-95 over few months, I went to take a ecg as a precautionary. No pain or discomfort in chest. ECG results came as Normal Sinus rhythm v rate 50-99 but borderline t wave abnormalities. (T/QRS ratio < 1/20 or flat T) Rate 92, PR 134, QRSD 91, QT 354, QTc 438 P 75, QRS 58, T 3 12 Lead, standard placement Is it a problem? I'm 28/M (diagnosed with hypo thy, now in normal levels, bp 120/80)

Hi, Welcome. Your ECG seems ok, but seeing the actual ECG is more important. As you said, your diastolic bp is 85-95, which is high for your age. So, monitor your bp regularly. I'll also advise you for certain tests - Kidney function test, thyroid profile, Lipid profile, Renal doppler & 2D Echo to rule out any possible causes of high bp. Come back if you need further help. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It may have to be further investigated. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then inform

I have skin problem on palm and leg. I have visited many doctors- allopathic, homeopathic and others and taken all types of medicines. But this problem is as it is. It was 2006 when we saw it for the first time, I was in Kanpur and visited allopathic doctor he told me it is psorasis and taken medicines and till date, I have changed many doctors, visited in Pantnagar, Dehdraun Dr B.S. Judge skin specialist, and then homeopathic in Panota and then Reqweg Homeopathic, but the skin problem is not gone.Please suggest us what to do and which type of problem is this. HI, psoriasis is a very chronic condition , it reappears mostly in winters and cold weater. Need to take homeopathic medicines. No two homeopaths will give same medicines. So it varies with the doctor. But for permanent cure homeoapathy is best answer

1. Diet triggers for ibs constipation

Some foods can worsen ibs-related constipation. These include:

  1. Refined breads and cereals
  2. Refined foods such as chips and cookies
  3. Drinks such as coffee, carbonated drinks, and alcohol
  4. High-protein diets
  5. Dairy products, especially cheese

2. Diet triggers for ibs diarrhea

Some foods can worsen ibs-related diarrhea. These include:

  1. Too much fiber, especially insoluble fiber found in the skin of fruits and vegetables
  2. Food and drinks with chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, fructose, or the sugar substitute sorbitol
  3. Carbonated drinks
  4. Large meals
  5. Fried and fatty foods
  6. Food and drinks with dairy, especially in people with lactose intolerance
  7. Foods with wheat - some people may be allergic or have a negative reaction to gluten.

I got heart attack on 25th dec. doctors did angography and then angioplasty, they put two stents now on 20th april. I again did angogram as i was unable to walk. It shows there is blockage inside both the stents. Is there a solution for this in ayurveda?

Opening of blockage inside stents by ayurveda has not been reported anywhere so its not advisable to comment. However blockage inside vessels has been tried in ayurveda and long term treatment has often been heard with success. For details your reports and recent history needed to be known.

Can Specific Proteins and Carbs Keep Weight Off?

If you are looking to lose weight, it is of utmost importance to focus on your diet. Eating a balanced diet along with regular exercise is your key to losing weight. You need to focus on picking the right foods to lose weight.

Carbohydrates are classified into three types - simple carbohydrates, complex carbohydrates and fiber.

Simple carbohydrates consist of foods such as fruits and sugar. These foods should be consumed in limited amounts as they tend to spike your blood sugar levels. Excessive consumption of simple sugar ups your risk of diabetes and leads you to gain weight.

Complex carbohydrates are foods like whole grains, oats and millets that have a different digestive mechanism compared to simple carbohydrates. These foods are digested slowly and thus, the energy is released slowly into the bloodstream. This means that there is no blood sugar spike during the process of digestion. However, it is important that you should not consume these foods in excess. Overconsumption of these foods may lead to weight gain.

Fiber is a type of nutrient that is also known as roughage and it is present in vegetables and fruits. Fiber rich foods are cabbage, broccoli and carrots. Fiber helps in improving digestion as it adds bulk to your stool. The other important benefit of fiber is that it enhances your heart health by reducing bad cholesterol levels in the body. Fiber is helpful in weight loss as it improves satiety and promotes digestion.

Protein is another component that is emphasized on when you try losing weight. Good sources of protein are eggs, chicken, turkey and lentils. It helps in building muscle in the body, which in turn increases your metabolism rate, so that your overall calorie burn increases. It is recommended that you consume 1 g of protein per pound of body weight. Protein lets you hold on to your muscle mass which increases your lean muscle mass that burns fat.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Your weight is marginally higher about 2-3 kg. To reduce weight you have to avoid oily & sugary food. Say no to bakery, processed & packed food. Do exercise for 30-40 mins daily. Take home made low calorie food.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process, so you need to have patience!! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day.Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. This is where protein shakes and bars really come in handy. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month.

These are the cause of white hair: • Stress • Due to medicines • Due to lack of nutrition • Use of chemical products such as hair colour , hair dyes, hair gel • Due to pollution For prevention from whitening of hairs follow these instructions : • Take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours .Do long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself . • You can apply amla powder , Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it . • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo . • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily ,and a glass of milk also .You can eat cheese or soya protein . • Eat healthy diet fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily .you can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and prevent white hairs . •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo.
