Yesterday I had sex with my wife without protection. I am sure that I pull out before ejaculation. Still what should be done to make sure pregnancy should not there.

Withdrawal method (coitus interruptus) The withdrawal method of contraception, also known as coitus interruptus, is the practice of withdrawing the penis from the vagina and away from a woman's external genitals before ejaculation to prevent pregnancy. The goal of the withdrawal method is to prevent sperm from entering the vagina. Using the withdrawal method for birth control requires self-control. Even then, the withdrawal method isn't an especially effective form of birth control. Sperm may enter the vagina if withdrawal isn't properly timed or if pre-ejaculation fluid contains sperm. To use the withdrawal method: Properly time withdrawal. When a man feels he's about to ejaculate, he must withdraw his penis from the woman's vagina. Make sure that ejaculation occurs away from the woman's genitals. Take precautions before having sex again. If you plan to have sex again within a short period of time, make sure the man urinates and cleans off the tip of his penis first. This will help remove any remaining sperm from the previous ejaculation. If ejaculation isn't properly timed and you're concerned about pregnancy, consult your health care provider about emergency contraception.

What are the preferred medications should be taken if a person is known to be in the early stages of migraine? Please help me.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Here are some tips to prevent a migraine attack, drugs are not essential in early stages: 1. Identify and avoid migraine triggers. You can keep track of your headache patterns and identify headache triggers by using a headache diary. 2. Recall what was eaten prior to an attack to help you identify chemical triggers. 3. Manage stress to prevent or reduce the severity of the migraine attacks. 4. Follow a regular daily routine and get adequate rest. 5. Exercise (in moderation) regularly.

Hi I don't see any reason why you can't use Nortas during pregnancy. I would request you to pay more attention to your high sugar levels. I see that you are diabetic for 2 years and it is all the more important that you get levels under control as soon as possible. Research has indicated that sooner you control you sugar levels, less will be the chances of you developing diabetes related complications later on in your life.

Diet Therapy - Know The Basic Principles Of It!

Diet Therapy - Know The Basic Principles Of It!

Diet therapy is a strategy for eating the food prescribed by a doctor to improve health and wellbeing. Medications involve including foods that enhance particular health conditions while evading foods that may aggravate the condition. Some health conditions require temporary helpful eating routines. Dietitians regularly detail helpful eating methodologies. The eating routine may change after some time in view of the individual's reaction and change in well-being status.

The different types of diet therapies are as follows:

  • A sans gluten diet is a case of a dietary change that you should keep up to stay solid. Individuals with a gluten narrow-mindedness must maintain a strategic distance from gluten-containing food to divert harm to their digestion tracts.
  • The diabetic diet is an extremely basic remedial diet including restricting high-sugar foods to control glucose levels.
  • Other remedial weight control diets constrain foods, for example, salt, to control pulse, or soaked fat, to oversee cholesterol. These sorts of weight control plans take some getting used to. Your doctor will work with you to roll out the importance.

Here are some basic principles of diet therapy:

  • Side effect Control: When you are experiencing a disease brought on by a horrible eating routine, your specialist may recommend you to consume fewer calories before considering diet therapy, physician endorsed medications or surgery. Certain conditions, for example, heart diseases can be overseen all the more viable when the diet is under control. Your specialist may even recommend you to consume fewer calories treatment essentially on the grounds that he sees you have warnings for heart illness, regardless of the possibility that you are not as of now diagnosed with any.
  • Eat fewer carbs Modification: When you enjoy unfortunate dietary patterns, such as picking greasy nourishments, eating an excessive number of sweats or maintaining distance from vegetables, you put yourself at risk for genuine medical issues. After surveying your diet and the risks associated with it, your specialist may propose an adjusted eating routine. It is essential that in case that you get a kind of prescription and routine from your specialist, you finish as you would a professionally prescribed medicine. Changes to your eating regimen can happen in little and straightforward ways yet have a major effect on your health.
  • Organ Rest: When you are going to experience a surgery or your specialist is hoping to confine medical issues, you might be requested to abstain from diet therapy to offer a clearer photo of your health challenges or to help the surgery go all the more easily. A few specialists will ask you to go on a liquid diet or delicate eating routine, which can allow weak organs to rest in the digestive system. Therefore, try to eat light foods.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Hi, when you say problem of calcium, you actually mean reduced bone health. Most often loss of bone density is due to deficiency of nutrients, not only calcium and wrong eating habits. So, you need to maintain a healthy overall diet plan. For calcium absorption you also need other nutrients as well. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels and definitely deficiency of major nutrients. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Include cereals like ragi, seeds like sesame, coconut and pulses like rajma, chana, sprouts in your diet. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Avoid excessive tea, coffee, and avoid aerated drinks. Sleep well. Exercise at least thrice a week. This is essential for bone health.

Hello doctor I want to improve my digestion. It is very weak please guide me If I eat some protien powder normal one then too I get loose motion.

Hello doctor I want to improve my digestion.
It is very weak please guide me If I eat some protien powder normal one ...
Common digestive diseases that can cause indigestion include: acid reflux disease (also called gerd) gastric cancer. Pancreatic or bile duct abnormalities. Peptic ulcers (sores in the lining of the stomach and esophagus caused by the h. Pylori bacteria) the best way to prevent indigestion is to avoid the foods and situations that seem to cause it. Keeping a food diary is helpful in identifying foods that cause indigestion. Here are some other suggestions: eat small meals so the stomach does not have to work as hard or as long. Eat slowly. Avoid foods that contain high amounts of acids, such as citrus fruits and tomatoes. Reduce or avoid foods and beverages that contain caffeine. If stress is a trigger for your indigestion, learn new methods for managing stress, such as relaxation and biofeedback techniques. If you smoke, consider quitting, or at least not smoking right before or after eating, as smoking can irritate the stomach lining. Cut back on alcohol consumption, because alcohol can irritate the stomach lining. Avoid wearing tight-fitting garments, because they tend to compress the stomach, which can cause its contents to enter the esophagus. Don't exercise with a full stomach. Rather, exercise before a meal or at least one hour after eating a meal. Don't lie down right after eating. Wait at least three hours after your last meal of the day before going to bed. Sleep with your head elevated (at least 6 inches) above your feet and use pillows to prop yourself up. This will help allow digestive juices to flow into the intestines rather than to the esophagus.
