I have a ringworm on my head ,neck and near my eye (fungal infection) I have used many medicines and creams but it's not working its getting worst. Please help.

Ringworm takes time to get well. Leaving medicines in between makes it worst. Please apply topical antifungal drugs such as clotrimazole or miconazole or tolnaftate regularly.

Food is the fuel your body gets its energy from. A healthy, well-balanced diet keeps your body healthy and energized, raising your stamina. Try to eat a well-balanced, low-fat diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables and lean meats. For long-lasting energy, having up to a third of your diet be composed of starches and carbohydrates (whole wheat varieties are preferable. To keep your body steadily supplied with energy throughout get energy by eating several smaller meals throughout the day rather than one or two large meals. Snack on fruits, raw vegetables, nuts and other lean proteins between meals. Carry high-energy fruit and nut mixes with you during times of extended performance, such as hiking, cycling or cramming for final exams. 2. Stay hydrated. The health benefits of drinking lots of water are numerous - it can help you lose weight, prevent kidney stones, and much more. Water can also increase stamina by fighting muscle fatigue. Muscle tissue that is under-hydrated can under-perform, so keep your stamina up by drinking about 17 ounces of water a few hours before strenuous exercise. If you're starting on a long distance run or an extended exercise, have plenty of fluids with you so they'll be available if you get thirsty later. 3. Get plenty of physical exercise. Though it will tire you out in the short term, physical exercise increases your overall energy level and stamina over a long period of time. For optimal health and increased stamina, make time in your schedule for regular exercise. For adults, the Department of Health and Human Services recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate cardiovascular exercise per week (or 75 minutes of intense cardiovascular exercise), along with strength-building exercise sessions at least twice a week. 4. Sleep 7-8 hrs 5. Quit smoking and alcohol You have to increase your will power to stop smoking, be determined, homoeopathic medicines also reduce this addiction, go for constitutional homoeopathic treatment for complete cure.

It is good to have pirates exercise? Is there any harmful effects of it on old persons?

Hye Thanks for the query. You can do any exercise in order to stay fit. It is important that you enjoy it and are able to manage it at least 3-5 times a week depending on how strenuous your work out is. You need to see that you move into any exercise gradually. If you are a newcomer to exercise, try to train your body first with basic exercises like cardiovascular involving brisk walking, swimming. Get your basic parameters like blood pressure, blood sugar, lipid profile and bone density checked. You can do yoga, strength training, aerobics, swimming,  jogging or even indulge in sports like football or an enjoyable activity like dance. The idea is to stay physically active. Lastly the technique of any exercise be it the seemingly simple brisk walking  is also important. And don't forget stretching and warm up before any exercise in order to avoid injuries.

My advice for you start physical exercise, take sleep upto 8 to 10 hours daily and more intake of water. I think these things would really be helpful in your life. Avoide fast food and eat fresh fruits and vegetable. 2 table tea spoon of energyl powder mix in a full water glass. Two times in day. Multi vitamin and multiminerals and antioxidants.

Dear lybrateuser, - You can do weight bearing exercises at home instead of a gym - do pull ups, pushups, crunches, squats & light free weights - do exercise after proper warming up, exercise along with a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods - there are no confirmed studied to indicate any effect of exercise on height.
