Hello Mix required amounts of gram flour, lemon juice and curd or yogurt. Apply this paste on tan affected area of forehead and face. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it with water. Start drinking lots of milk and increase protein intake in the your diet. Make a mixture of amla+reetha + shikakai powder, all in equal proportions. Take 4-5 tsp if this powder, boiled in 3 litres of water till 1-1.5 litre remains. Let it cool and then wash your hair with this and not shampoo. Extract juice of onion and add few drops of olive oil to it. Apply in riots of hair and keep for 40 min and then wash off. Start eating 1 amla daily start taking 1 tsp triphala churna daily with water and night with water after food start doing pranayam for 20 min.

I had sarcoidosis & taken treatment. Two lumps on right side of my fore head not gone till. Please guide.

Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fruits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.

My son is 18 years old he is suffering from typhoid what precautions he has to take and should he eat in his diet kindly suggest so that he must get well soon.

Hi, Take complete bed rest. Consume high protein diet like sprouts, egg, soya, milk and milk products to regain the energy and strength which is lost due to the infection. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. Consume plenty of fluids. Regarding precautions, be careful while eating outside food. Do not consume uncooked or raw food like vegetable salads, chatnis, buttermilk, lassi, raita, cut fruits, etc. Drink only boiled and cooled water or mineral water. Avoid outside food and fresh and hot home made food is preferred.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Guidelines for a Healthy Diabetic diet& B. P There is no common diet that works for everyone. Nor is there any particular diet that works perfectly for any diabetic over a long period of time. While planning to control diabetes naturally, we should adhere to certain important factors such as: Increase fibre in your diet, preferably up to 25-30 gms per day. You can do this easily by eating whole grains, whole pulses, nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables. You can also take one tablespoon of isabgol daily to increase fibre intake To help control your blood sugar level, eat about the same amount of carbohydrates every day, spaced throughout the day. If you eat more or less carbohydrates than usual at a given meal or from day to day, your blood sugar level may fluctuate every day and also through the day. Instead of 3 heavy meals, you should go for 4-5 small mid intervals. Avoid refined foods like white rice, maida, dessert, soft drinks, chocolates, sugar and foods rich in fat. Consume a variety of fresh fruit and green vegetables, at least 5-6 exchanges per day. Eat some sprouts every day. They are rich in protein, calcium and nutrients that help increase immunity and balance blood sugar. If you have diabetes, you're at increased risk of heart disease and stroke. That's because diabetes can accelerate the development of clogged and hardened arteries. Get no more than 5-7 percent of your daily calories from saturated fat, and try to avoid trans-fat completely. Try to limit your consumption of fats to mono-unsaturated fats — such as olive oil or canola oil Stress produces a hormone cortisol which can slow down your immune system. Stress triggers free radical damage and can upset blood sugar levels. Adopt relaxation techniques like meditation, yoga, listening to music or taking a short holiday. Take some antioxidants like vitamin A, C, E and selenium. Certain minerals like zinc, chromium, selenium and magnesium help to control blood sugar imbalances. Certain herbs available in pharmacies are especially good in controlling diabetes. `Karneem’ made from karela is one such herb. A syrup made from “jamun” known as “jambukasav” is another such herb which help to control blood sugar. Exercise regularly for 30-40 minutes every day. Roasted oat bran or wheat flakes with 100 ml skim milk/ dalia 1 apple or a bowl of papaya 5-6 almonds Lunch 2 slices of whole wheat bread or bran chappaties 2 cups cooked vegetables & 1 cup curd Salad (tomatoes, cucumber, cabbage, onion, mix sprouts) Tea 1 vegetable juice (dudhi+ mint) 2-3 wheat biscuits or popcorn or a handful of roasted chana. Dinner Clean vegetable soup, Soya chunks 1 bowl rajhma or kabuli channa 2 cups cooked green vegetables/ Fish (100 gms- grilled or steamed) twice a week 2 slices of whole wheat bread or 2 jowar chapattis Follow this diet for the next two weeks. If you are suffering from any medical problems or are under any medications, then please consult your family physician before starting any diet.

Myocardial bridge is a compression of a coronary artery in systole (heart contraction stage) by an overlying band of myocardium. Chronic compression and relaxation of the bridge can produce endothelial dysfunction (disturbance the endothelial (inner layer of the heart blood vessel) by direct stress or compression. Endothelial disturbance can expose the muscular layer of the coronary vessel to circulating acetylcholine and other vasoconstrictors causing it to contract and thus give arise to angina like symptoms chest pain etc. It will be ideally relieved by nitrates or sorbitrate which your doctor must have prescribed. The ideal plan is to go with a proper angiography to understand the position of the bridge and if required a surgical intervention in form of a bypass graft would be helpful especially since your age is 37 years. One thing which I have noted is that you are over weight too and need to reduce around 15 kgs minimum. Best of luck.
