Blocks can be removed by LEKHAN herbs as also some herbs like DHAMASA (Fegonia) help dissolve clots in the vessels. These are harmless. However switching to Ayurveda means long term therapy. But I ask one thing: does the Allopathic medicine for such conditions are discontinued any time in life generally. The answer is NO. So wisdom is to prevent such conditions by AYURVEDA principles of 'Dincharya' If emergency happens, allopathic treatment is best for saving life. Gradually the Ayurveda be taken parallel by introducing required Ayurveda medicines. Slowly allopathic may be withdrawn but all the things be done under monitoring of all the modern essential tests and advise of specialists. No pathy is entirely bad or good. Utilization should be to the maximum benefit of human kind. Precautions are no trans fats, restrictions in salt intake, regularity in medicine, adopting Pranayam, meditation, walks, destressing etc If you need to take Ayurveda treatment, pl consult with full details.

Hi lybrate-user, the average normal blood pressure is 120/80. However young people can have a lower number that is usually well tolerated. It is important to see if there is a correlation of your symptoms with low blood pressure. Increase the intake of your salt and please visit your doctor to get yourself tested.

Hi, from last three days while taking breath exactly just before exhaling I am feeling some pain near the naval towards left side. It is very near to the boundary of naval area. The pain is not continuous, only comes while taking breath or bending the abdominal forward. Please suggest. Pain is acute but not much high intensity. I am 28 year old Male.

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Dear lybrateuser, - As your pain is there on movement of the abdomen it could be due to soft tissue & muscular problem of the abdominal wall - do not strain, bend or do any abdominal exercise till pain subsides - do hot fomentation of the area 2-3 times a day - apply pain relief gel twice a day, do not rub apply lightly - if pain is more then take a pain relief tablet after meals.

Hi if you are a patient of high blood pressure, then you are on the risk side of developing heart problems, so if you are getting chest pain as explained by you, its basically called as exertional chest pain. You should get done one ecg, then stress echo to see any heart problem during exertion. And then consult a cardiologist do not worry, you will be fine, these probs have treatment.

Suddenly I was stopped cigarette smoking but daily morning pain in my chest please sagest anything else this problem.
Sudden stoppage of cigarette smoking is often associated with withdrawal symptoms from body because of absence of nicotine, this is just temporary and will resolve in a week - 10 days, it manifests in form of bodyaches or anxiety etc. To reassure that it is not heart related you can get a ecg and chest-x-ray done, if they are normal and then just consult a psychologist to help you deal with this withdrawal phase.

Are bananas are good for heart. I have read in somewhere that bananas ate not good for heart.
Bananas are best for heart yes they are a rich source of potassium and you can eat ad many as you like. There will be no extra potassium which will harm the heart. Yes potassium taken as medicine does cause harmful side effects. Don't bother about extra calories also because it is giving you other essential vitamins and minerals too. Cut down other calories which are either empty calories like excess sugar or just basic calories like chapattis.

Causes And Symptoms Of Coronary Artery Disease!

Coronary artery disease is the disease in which the major blood vessels (coronary arteries) that supply blood, nutrients and oxygen to your heart get damaged or disease stricken. It is mostly caused due to the coronary artery getting plagued or inflamed. The consequent reduction in blood flow to the heart causes the various symptoms of coronary artery disease like angina (chest pain), short breath etc.

Symptoms:

Here is a list of a few symptoms that help in identification of the coronary artery disease.

1. Angina - Pressure or tightness may be felt in or near the area of the chest that results in pain. It is mostly felt in the middle or left side of the chest.

2. Shortness of breath - Another symptom of coronary artery disease is short breath, fatigue and a feeling of exertion.

3. Heart attackComplete blockage of the coronary artery results in a heart attack that is a prominent symptom of coronary artery disease. A person may feel heavy pressure in the chest, pain in the shoulder or arm, sweating etc. prior to getting a heart attack.

Causes:

Coronary artery disease occurs when damage or injury is done to the inner layer of the coronary artery. This damage causes plaque, which are deposits made of fat, cholesterol and other cellular waste materials to accumulate near the damaged area of the artery. This process is known as atherosclerosis.

The various causes that result in coronary artery damage are listed below.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
