It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250 mg od & sos x 5 days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, inform.

Hello sir, I agreed with the lybrate-user. Kalyani's advice but I want to add one more important point in that and thats 1) try to avoid long standing position as much as possible 2) use the compession stockings 3) use the pneumetic compressive therapy if available at your near by physio centre.

Dear doctor my problam is that There is one sore filed with blood on my back near end of spine from last 5 years. I feel pain when I set on chair. Some time heals. Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day..

I have too much pain in my leg and I also try some medicine from last 5 month but there is no effect of any medicine.
Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps.

Hello- noise coming from the knees is due to decreased synovial fluid in your knee joint which is causing friction between two bones which makes joint. >continuous friction may lead to joint pain and swelling in near future. >looking at your age you should follow these schedules- 1) do warm sesame oil massage daily on your knees twice. 2) increase dietary products that can increase synovial fluid (ghee, milk, malai etc.) 3) avoid foods that are harmful to joint structure.(fast food, spicy and junk diet, shila anna) 4) don, t exert too much stress on your knee joint.(sudden running, heavy exercise) 5) wear knee cap for minimizing body load on knee joint. 6) treat your indigestion if having. 7) tray to get a sound sleep (at least 8 hrs a day)

Hi thanks for the query. From the details you had given it could be some sort of infection around the nail bed. It is better consult local surgeon or orthopedician for clear cut opinion and management.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from backache (back pain): * first correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back. You can use lumber belt for support. * do regular back strength exercises. Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * do not sleep on very soft bed, sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * do tadasana and bhjangasana for back strengthening. If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. * take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin d supplements regularly. *do not take any heavy weight or heavy work. * if you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Dear lybrate-user, cholesterol medicine is given to patients who have moderate to high risk of developing heart problem. Risk is calculated from age, sex, history of diabetes, high bp, smoking, family history etc. Otherwise unless cholesterol value is very high no cholesterol medicine is required. Only diet and exercise will be enough. As regards diet she can take almost all home cooked foods. Avoid oily and high carb foods.

Hi I am doing gym from previous 15 days but 4 days back I have done leg exercise for the first time and as usual muscles pains for the first time so my leg (thighs) was paining badly. Just do not wry, take homoeopathic medicine lecithinum 200 4pills 4 times 4 days n give a gap of a week again repeat 4 days n take such 6 courses. It just means that haemoglobin is low. Its a pigment in blood which should not b less than 8. Its ok you can take this medicine n repeat cbc weekly or 2 weekly initially n later monthly once n give iron rich products. Continue breast milk. Take care.
