Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. of age in males and 18yrs. in females, so there are 4yrs. more left to grow further! Medication: Start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - Bakson's Hite-Aid and Five Phos. - both thrice daily and Thuja 1M/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months. Management: Consume a balanced diet. A person will look a lot shorter when having a plump body. Not only that, being fit by eating right will make you taller and feel better! Eat plenty of lean protein. Lean protein, such as white poultry meat, fish, soy, and dairy, helps promote muscle growth and healthy bones. Simple carbohydrates such as pizza, cakes, sweets, and soda, are the stuff to stay away from. Eat plenty of calcium. Calcium, found in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and kale, and in dairy (yogurt and milk), helps promote healthy bones. Get enough zinc. Studies, although they have been inconclusive so far, point to a possible link between zinc deficiencies and stunted growth in boys. Good sources of zinc include oysters, wheat germ, pumpkin and squash seeds, lamb, peanuts, and crab. Get enough vitamin D. Vitamin D promotes bone and muscle growth in children, and a deficiency has been shown to stunt growth and cause weight gain in teenage girls. Vitamin D can be found in fish, alfalfa, or mushrooms commonly.

Hi i, am manu 25 male suffering from osmf, hardly 2 finger can be inserted, I consulted it to an ent doctor in orange city, where I was prescribed by sm fibro for 1 and half year or it could be more, but I see no improvement, I have heard about laser treatment of osmf, and consulted my personal doctor asking about it (laser) surgery, but he said there are chances of coming back of osmf after surgery, he called an ent specialist and he said the same, please guide me how efficient is laser treatment and what are the chances of osmf coming back after this treatment, I am from rural area so most of my doctors (dentist) will not suggest me for laser treatment, so please guide in detail what I need to consider. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Oral submucosal fibrosis is a progressive disease and no single treatment is absolute. It requires a multimodal approach. First stopping tobacco intake. Steroid injection, PRP or PRF injections combined with Laser give good results. The results of laser need to be maintained with good physiotherapy like mouth gag at night. For advanced stages there are surgical options too. Consult a oral surgeon.

Hello, its not possible to increase your height at this age. All the joints (responsible for height gain) of the body are fused now and nothing can be done. >don't waste your money and time in buying products and medicines for height gain.

Hi doctor, I have started to work out with weights about 3 months ago. Since then I have been working out 5 times a day. One day I would do push ups about 100 then abs workout for 20 mins along with cardio and arms workout only 4 sets of barbell exercises. Then the next day I would only do abs and I repeat this for the whole week. I wanted to ask am I doing this right or wrong? Am I not letting my muscle recover?
