I am rangaiah my age is 27 male and have leg pain .give me some suggestions please.
For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

The underlying cause should be treated. It could be spondylosis, intervertebral gap reduction causing compression on nerves. In such cases physiotherapy is the solution. Traction may be required if assessed after X-ray reports. Yoga postures are also helpful. For Ayurveda safe treatment, pl send X-ray reports. Till then pl take Nycanthes leaves juice or decoction (Harsingar leaves)

I am 63 years old male and feel pain in my knees while using stairs while on plains I donot feel much inconvenience. I am tendency for stone in kidney development and hence avoid taking extra calcium. Kindly advise me some treatment to get rid off knee pains.

Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

I am 36 year female. Have back pain from 2 years. Consulted doctor that time and below the results of report 1) BMD measure AP spine L1 -1.4 is 0.915 g/cm with T score of -2.2low 2) BMD femur neck left 0.860 g/cm with T score -1.3 3) BMD Neck right 0.862 g/cm2 4) BMD forearm radius 33% is 0.729 g/cm2 been taking homeopathy treatment from 2 years. Aftr taking medicine with more dosage pain used to get reduce and again start. But now from last week more shoulder pain/back pain/foot pain and hands join pain. Dear Jyothi, its simple and easy to reduce back pain occured in L1 level, after getting relief from pain you have to maintain some excercises regularly for few months to completely reduce it. back strengthening excerises, inferential and ultrasonic therapy will reduces pain. twice a day will give good result. avoid lifitng heavy objects, prolonged sitting also causes back pain, so take physio treatment for completely reducing the pain

If you have pain around the soft tissue areas but not over the bone, you probably have a sprain, not a break. If you have pain over the knee bone, you most likely have a break. If you’re not able to walk on it, there’s a good chance you have a break. Thanku

Hallo lybrate-user. If you had dislocation 3 year back. It is important to know details of injury. Because the way of injury help to give an idea about the structures which can be involved in the injury. What I think is you had a ligament injury at that time which was given less attention. This could trigger the pain in long run. Best way to improve joint stability is to have soup of goat meat. If you are veg you can have sprouts soup. Include protein foods daily. Also apply oil do massage daily.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Rubbing alcohol with 50% of Isopropyle is good for cleaning derma roller or it require 70% isopropyle. As 70% of isopropyle is too expensive and not available in medical store and online order. The enlargement may be because of cervical spondylosis affecting your lower cer ical spine. If you r worried about it thn you should tk sm physiotherapy sessions. It will get cured. But if you r worried abt your weight gain, you need to do sm exs depending on your bmi n tk guided diet.
