I am afraid, because I am not able to have good shape of of my body in the sense that, my body is not growing as it happened earlier, I ate a lot of proteins, mass gainers etc, but I don't feel any progress in my bones rather I feel alot pain through it, so kindly help me out solving this problem.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

I have extra teeth in my mouth I don't think how it is possible please give some advice.

Extra teeth are not v uncommon. In some situations extra teeth doesnot cause prob to your normal permanent teeth but in majority of cases it does cause prob such as food lodgment follwed by tooth decay, traumatic bite followed by tooth loosening etc. Consult a dentist to get your teeth evaluated who'll advice you after that to save it or get it removed to prevent prob from it to other teeth.

Start your day with alovera juice. Have saunf after every meal. Have 3-4 l of water per day. Try having coconut water daily, because of gastric problem you are unable to gain weight. First cure your stomach issue and then stress on wt gain. Take high protein diet egg white, chicken, sprouts, dals. Avoid roti/rice at night whenever possible. Start doing wt training. High protein diet can further cause gastric problem so continue taking alovera juice afterwards as well. Update me after 10 days in case you still face problem.

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed .it is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1.boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2.apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

Hi Doctor, I am 24 years old male. I am job worker. I wake up at 8 am. My off. Timing is 10 am to 6 pm. I am single. To wake up in the morning 8 am I do not have time to make a breakfast. That’s why I never take a break fast. A. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. My girlfriend has problem in her gums. If she eat anything like apple, they may bleed, while brushing also they sometimes bleed, any sort of pressure causes them to bleed. The upper gums in the front have swollen and have turned red. This problem is there for 2 years.

Hello lybrate-user, this is gum infection which develops due to deposition of plaque and calculus around teeth. This infection leads to gum swelling and bleeding. I advise you to visit a dentist soon for professional cleaning of her teeth. This will help in removal of these layers. Further swelling will decrease slowly and infection will subside soon. Meanwhile, she can use antibiotic mouth rinses twice a day for two weeks. But only professional help or treatment is not enough. She needs to follow proper oral hygiene habits because this problem is recurring in nature. Brushing twice a day, flossing teeth, rinsing mouth after every meal, and cleaning tongue will help preventing it's re-occurence.

Hello. Target 3 kgs in the first quarter of the year of starting your weight loss (because of desk job you cannot really make harsh changes in schedule) -start doing surya namaskar at home, it take 15-20 minutes but is very effective. -start with 5rounds (10 total) and keep increasing gradually to as many as you can do, 7roundz then 10 rounds and so on. -keep a check on your diet. -take 25% less calories. -do not take more than 2tea spoon sugar a day. -try to drink more warm water, preferably with lemon.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Well you have mentioned that you earlier were having same problem, but was it ok in between or do you have these symptoms off and on? also as you have also gained weight, the problems may intensify in the near future. Also degenerative changes in spine occur especially if disc spaces collapse because it increases overall pressure on facet joints of spine and adjacent discs as well. But my advise is that if your pain is still a localized lower back pain with no other leg pain, numbness or any other nerve related symptoms, then - start leading an active lifestyle which means daily walks for around 2-3 km in a day - intensive back exercises to strengthen your back muscles - abdominal strengthening and other general conditioning exercises - to maintain proper posture of your back at all times in a day - physical therapy with modalities can be done initially for some time although mainstay will remain your exercises - take anti-inflammatory medication for 5-7 days to get initial relief - maintain proper calcium and vitamin d intake also please get one digital x ray done and send both films and report to me x ray ls spine ( ap & lateral-flexion and extension views) do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. To clear the wound marks - • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water. • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it. *Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the marks. *Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes.
