MBBS, MD - Aerospace Medicine, Eular Certification in Rheumatology

dear friend colitis is basically inflammation/infection of the large intestine , some are curable some are not , if it is an infection and responds to antibiotics it will be cured and if it is some colitis like ulcerative colitis which is an auto immune condition it can be kept under control but not cured, please ask specifically what kind of colitis you want to know about to help me provide a better answer

I am suffering from gastric since one year and couldn't able to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner. May I know the reason n symptoms?

MS - General Surgery, MBBS
General Surgeon, Delhi
Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

MBBS, DNB (General Medicine), Certified in Evidence Based Diabetes Management, MNAMS, MRCP (UK)
Internal Medicine Specialist, Kolkata
Thank you for the query I would like to ask whether you have any problems like diabetes or do you take alcohol. Fatty liver commonly arises due to faulty lifestyle. Diabetes and alcohol are both reasons for developing fatty liver. Sedentary lifestyle and intake of food rich in fat content can also cause it. Udiliv and golbi are the same medications, though medications are not very helpful to reduce this condition. Your diet needs to be modified. Avoid refined carbohydrates and saturated fat intake. Avoid intake of carbonated beverages. Intake of dietary fibres is needed. Try to develop an exercise plan daily and if you are overweight, weight loss must be attempted. You can go for some blood tests like liver function test and lipid profile. Any abnormalities in these tests must be dealt as needed. Please visit your physician for further advice.

While doing potty sometimes blood comes out. Suggest me some medicine to cure this.

BHMS
Homeopath, Chennai
If blood is bright red it may be due to lower gi bleeding (piles, fissures, fistula) but if dark it may be due to upper gi (ulcerative colitis, intestinal ulcers, etc) related so first I advice you to visit a general surgeon and diagnose the disease but for treatment you can take homoeopathic treatment cause it eradicates disease from root.

BHMS
Homeopath, Delhi
Hi Mr. Sunny Your son is suffering from problem of improper assimilation of food due to gastro-intestinal problems. And this is responsible for his frequent stools because the stomach and intestines are not able digest and assimilate the food properly leading to weakness and all associated problems. As per my experience these children are usually physically lazy and mentally irritable but variations might occur. Kidney stones are not at all responsible for his problems. Treatment of this problem is possible with holistic homoeopathic medicines and after treating many cases I can tell you that it usually takes 3-4 mnths for the complete cure of problem and improvement is usually seen in first 15 days itself. You need to consult a good homoeopath for this or you can consult me over here or on person as you are in Delhi itself.

What is the reason that I am always suffering from gastric problem? What are the solutions?

BAMS
Ayurveda, Ambala
Dear, the main cause of gastric problem are * hurry * worry *curry * firstly take your meals with proper chewing and do not be hurry in taking meals to avoid acidity after meals. * take less spicy food & avoid chilly in meals. * try to avoid stress. If you feel unable to avoid stress & extra thinking then follow meditation techniques. Sit in a calm & well airy room & do long breathing. Concentrate on your breathing. Do it for atleast 3-5 minutes twice a day. You can do anulom - vilom pranayam in the morning. It calm down your mind and lower the gastric irritation. * put 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds (saunff) in a glass of water in night and drink this water in morning everyday to cure gastric problem. * take few leaves of mint (pudina), coriander leaves (dhania), pinch of rock salt & pinch of black pepper. Crush them well and make paste. Take 1 teaspoon this paste (chatni) with meal in morning & evening.
