Do you feel back pain while lifting heavy weight? then you need to strengthen your back and core muscles. Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -some physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Please do a x-ray of cervical spine first. Ginger can help reduce inflammation of the blood vessels in the head, thus providing relief from a headache. Mix equal parts of ginger juice and lemon juice. Consume it once or twice a day. Another option is to apply a paste of one teaspoon of dry ginger powder, also called sonth, and two tablespoons of water on the forehead for a few minutes.

This is a general strain due to excessive walking or standing and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain. The reason why you cannot walk more than an hour is because your muscles have become so weak and it becomes tired very easily. To break that fatigue it is advisable to drink or eat protein and mineral food which would be a reservoir for you to store the energy.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Try some remedies for joint pain: -ice packs can be used to soothe hot, swollen joints. -heat packs help to relax tense, tired muscles. -splinting of swollen or painful joints may be helpful, a physiotherapist or an occupational therapist (ot) may provide temporary splints for you. -pace yourself: overdoing things can increase your pain, but so can not doing enough. Your physiotherapist can advise you on increasing your activity level at a rate you can cope with and on finding the right balance between rest and activity. -take regular graded exercise: graded exercise starts slowly and increases in small steps. This will help you to strengthen your muscles and joints and increase your fitness. Improving your general fitness and stamina will help you to increase your activity level without increasing your pain. -mobilising, stretching and strengthening: your physiotherapist will assess your muscle strength and the range of movement in your joints, and advise on techniques and exercises so you can keep your joints working as well as possible. Start with physiotherapy treatment and learn spinal exercise. Use lumber spine belt. Don't sit on floor. Don't lift heavy things. Take calcium; multivitlybrate-userand vitamin d 3 for 2 month.

Hi back pain for more than two years needs mri scan. If you don't have leg pains means mainly either it could be mechanical back pain or facet joint arthritis (small joints in the back of the vertebrae)' may be by than we can discuss about futhur managemement.

My mother is suffering from spendolitis. She is in her 60 years of age. She suffers with lot of pain around shoulder part and later it get spread all over in her body. She also feels burning sensation in veins. During night, while sleeping this problem gets more serious. Please, we need suggestion to get rid of this problem completely. Got your pain, good you shared well about pain, what about other co morbid conditions like diabetes n bp, heart issues, any way authentic ayurveda offers great level of pain relief n endurance, monsoon is the season when these vat disorders get aggravated, ask your mom to have 5-10 ml of almond/badam oil with milk in early morn n before bed for 3 days n revert me. Trust in ayurveda means trusting self!

u have to need spinal extension exercises. 1 u lying Supine then u bend ur both knee now u lift ur hip hold 5 second, do15 times. 2 now u prone in lying then place ur hand under the shoulder mount u lift ur shoulder hold for 20 second then relax. do 12 times . Take LS Belt while driving that can prevent spine from jerk.

Hello physiotherapy is the best treatment for this condition. There are many reasons for this type of pain- 1. Overuse of muscles, 2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium, or lack of water in the body, 3. Postural stress, 4. Muscle strain, etc. Please send me all investigation reports if available. I can help you by providing correct ergonomic and physiotherapeutic tips. Till then you can follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting, cross leg sitting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Take Tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and tablet vitamin D3 60000iu once a week for six months and For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and get your blood checked for CBC

Hi, I see that you are a little overweight accordance to your height and age. Try to reduce some weight by doing some changes in your diet. Mean while when you are lifting any heavy objects try not to bend your back directly and lifting the object. Whenever you are lifting any weight you have to bend your knees, do not bend your back this will reduce the pressure on your back.
