There is no special diet for a person with diabetes, but certain restrictions should be followed. Like avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, white bread, other bakery items, sweetened aerated drinks and high fat milk products. Should consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits about 100 g a day. Food should include complex carbohydrates, so that sugar rise is slow. Total caloric intake has to be based on ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood sugar levles. On treatment you should strive to maintain fastinf around 100 mg, pp150 to 160 mg and hba1c% 6.8. That will keep you healthy and fit plus serious complications of diabetes will be kept away. Thanks.

Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Dear Mr. Lybrate-user, start taking one one spoon pure ghee mixed with one glass pure milk daily. Mix ashwagandhadi churna with equal quantity of soyachunk powder and take one spoon with milk once a day. And take proper nourishing diet like regular intake of fresh fruits and vegetables, pulses, milk and milk products. Also do body massage with sesame oil or olive oil daily or 2-3 times a week. Hii lybrate-user. I think (1) you should take more fatty or starchy foods (2) take bigger plate. If you do exercise and not taking enough food then it could occur (3) take dry fruits whenever wants (4) take weight gainer shake (5) take milk shake (6) 3-4 banana each day (7) take extra chicken, egg, butter, cheese, almond, peanut, starchy foods etc (8) do muscle building exercises.

Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, dry fruits, seeds, pulses, mutter, soya bean. Cereals, potatoes, sweet potatoes, plantains etc. Can be useful for gaining weight. Also take vegetables, greens and fruits. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve digestion and absorption of food as well as blood circulation. Eat at regular intervals. Threptin biscuits will be helpful.

You should take high protein foods like all milk and milk products, eggs, pulses, sprouts, nuts, tofu, rajmah, chole, soyabean, paneer, chicken, fish etc to gain healthy weight. It is not necessary to have protein powder if you are taking enough proteins in your diet but if you want to take then go for whey protein only.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if someone has diabetes then it is essential to get it treated with appro0riate drugs either oral anti diabetes drugs or insulin. Choice of drugs will depend on the age, type of diabetes and severity of the condition. When diabetes is uncontrolled weight loss does occur. To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy

Please remember that smoking is toxic to your body, mind and well-being. The earlier you can stop this habit, the healthier it can be for you. The lower taste and sinful habit of smoking can be stopped by replacing it with the higher taste. Simply read nice books which give you a higher meaning to life than chemicals in smoking. In place of smoking, spend your time by doing yoga and chant the names of god who you have faith in. It has been scientifically proved that by doing yoga and chanting, the habit of smoking can be stopped.

Jaundice or viral hepatitis takes long time to cure because regeneration bof liver cells isva very slow process it ntakes longervduration to recouop so you have to have type of restriction maintain dome more time like givevrestvto liver by taking proper food particularly carbohydrate food in moderation thereby giving indirect rest to the liver cells. Take plenty of leafy vegetables, cereals fruits and lean meat fish eggs etc avoid red meat. And rest as far as possible. Have plentybofvwater by mouth.

Hi Mr. Lybrate-user it is impossible to loose 15kgs weight in 1 month, if at all you are eating only fruits or drinking water and loosing weight it's not a healthy weight loss you will face other health issues. So please don't expect to loose weight in shortcuts. Healthy weight loss will be only 2-3 kgs per month by following a proper diet.

Hi, do regular exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, milk and milk products, combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast, no drink before meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.
