Hi - first you make some fat by putting carbohydrate sources foods like rice, chapati etc. Add butter & ghee as necessary. You v to over all increase your calorie by good quality high calorie bfoods through cereals, pulses, legumes & obviously high quality protien like egg, fish, chicken etc. Vegetables, fruits can help y always. After some weight gain you can come to me for muscles.

My daughter had plural effusion a year back which was treated successfully for same but she is uncomfortable in breathing even after all medical reports are normal can you please suggest for easy breathing Sometimes she feels very difficult in breathing.

It's already five months give her good nutrious diet along with calcium and iron supplements and ask her to exercise fir atleast 45mnt everyday to build up her body and strength.

To gain weight the healthy way, add the following food items to your daily diet- Banana, cheese, nuts and nut butters, rice, whole wheat bread, potatoes and other starches such as corn. Eat more proteins. Drinking milk will help too. Increase your regular food portions a little. Also, get good amount of sleep.

You writes that you are busy but if you have good personality you give 20 minutes for your body to charge for next so many hours to work. Do some aerobic exercises, yoga, walking to give shape to your body.

Main reason is not being able to digest & assimilate food properly. If you are not putting on weight may be you are not taking proper food. For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) U can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) Stop eating junk & processed food. 3) Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee . 4) Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) Boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins.6) Massaging whole body with vata balancing herbal oil (ksheerabala oil) is very beneficial 7) Reducing stress level, sleeping comfortably for long hours and afternoon naps are very essential to increase body mass.
