My wife is seven weeks pregnant and we went for our first scan today. They said that the heart beat and growth is normal. But they said that there is slight internal bleeding inside the uterus and they advised to take hormonal injection twice a week. Is there anything to be worried of or is this normal?

Hi lybrate-user, kidney stones and white discharge are not related. Please visit gynaecologist for internal examination to rule out infection. As you are getting recurrent infections please get it diagnosed what type of infection it is so that it can be treated.

Hi. My wife's left Breast has a gut below the nipple in side her breast I am afraid it may be breast cancer. Hoe and while do I confirm this. mean which specialist do I consult.

You can consult a surgical oncologist. The lump (gaath) can be evaluated and if required a mammography and /or biopsy can be done to check. In young patient, it's usually a simple lump (benign) but we need to evaluate the patient properly to confirm.

I have been staying in Delhi for a month, alone and away from family. Due to a largely sedantic lifestyle, at times I gave a huge urge in sexual frustration to the effect that I feel like killing someone if I don't get it instantly. Often entry to sleep this off and next morning I am all ok till the time it builds up again. Can you suggest some medical solution to it?

Hi lybrate-user! I can understand that it is related to hormone as well as boredom that you tend to feel So, but this sort of a feel is definitely harmful to you, other person, your family members and society as well. Good that you have come forward to seek help. Definitely this has to be corrected or you should overcome this problem as early as possible. You need to completely change your lifestyle, if not you can go back to a different place of your hometown where you can have a busy schedule. This problem you definitely need a Professional Psychologist help either at your locality or online. Additionally you can take medicines as well as an additional support to get rid of this feel completely. It is a very serious problem to have such a feel and woUld be better if you could as soon as possible seek a Professional help, busy schedule, have some positive goals in life and change of a busy place where you can keep yourself occupied. One more thing I would like to stress, first of all try to delete the word that arises in your thought when you get sexual frustration to kill. First of all no human beings has got a right to kill anyone. If you are not able to give life to a dead, remember what great or you to kill someone and how much worthy life is. God created life and God only has the right to do so. Remember that human beings are bonded through love, affection and care. Do some social work full heartedly. Show your courage by helping others and not through this harmful thoughts. Try to give life to those who are needy. Always think of doing good things and not bad things in life. There is a purpose in life for your birth and try to fulfill that. Yoga and meditation from an well expert will definitely help you control your emotions. Take care.

Hello. Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day as it breaks your overnight fast, it refuels your energy stores and kick starts your metabolism which will keep us going throughout the day apart from that it provides many beneficial nutrients (compared to no breakfast). It also stabilises your blood sugar levels, improves memory and concentration which would help you in overall physical and psychological development. So don't ever skip your breakfast.

You might be suffering from Androgenetic alopecia - which is more commonly known as male pattern baldness and is the most common type of hair loss. Some hair follicles appear to be genetically oversensitive to the actions of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is a hormone that is converted from testosterone with the help of an enzyme held in the follicle's oil glands. DHT binds to receptors in the hair follicles and shrinks them, making them progressively smaller. Over time, the follicles produce thinner hairs, and they grow for a shorter time than normal. Eventually, the follicle no longer produces hair, leaving the area bald. Various treatment modalities are available to treat it which includes: drugs like Minoxidil, Finasteride,Dutasteride. Procedures like laser therapy and hair transplant being the permanent one. You can consult hair experts at Hair Transplant clinics in Delhi to get yourself examined, evaluated for the same.
