Hi I can understand your problem. 1 relax & stay positive. 2 take hot and cold fomentation. 3 learn posture care exercise. 4 use lumber support. 5 take break every 20 minutes. 6 do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Please do share investigation reports if you have any.

45-50 is the age when menopause occurs. It might b reason tht you may b approaching menopause so harmonal imbalance can b the reason also. So its better to undergo ultrasound scan before starting any treatment.

About 5 to 6 months back I experienced this stabbing pain in my right hip when I tried to stand or walk while sitting I did not feel it. I am experiencing the same problem now. I have no swelling, redness or stiffness in my hip just this intense pain in my hip due to which sometimes my whole right leg feels numb. This is the second time and the pain is unbearable I cannot even sleep because every now and then when I turn I feel this bolt of pain. I would really appreciate some advice on what I am suffering from and to know if it is serious.

Amisha without examining you its difficult to give you a diagnosis as many conditions can cause this sort of pain. 1. This could be a disc prolapse with radiculopathy that is your disc in the spine might be causing nerve compression. 2. This could be Quadratus Lumborum myofascial pain. In simple words pain in the deep back muscles. Since you have feeling of numbness in your leg at times you should better consult in person before neuro deficit progresses.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Pain in heels is a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind)1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do ankle/foot & toe exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

I did regular exercise so my back pain increased so in MRI report shows my disc was slip. And doctors told me for operation. I don't want to operation. So you just give me some idea for relief. In my back pain.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

I recently Played football and I think I twisted my ankle! but there is no swelling but there is a pain in my heel whenever I walk. And there are no discoloration of any kind anywhere. It is painful when I apply pressure in my heel There is no issue when I lift my leg, shake or twist in any direction I Don't feel any pain! but only when I walk or run heel starts paining It's been 8 days and only a little improvement is observed! Please suggest me any remedy asap. I haven't taken x ray because I thought it will be healed, but I'm wearing a scrap bandage!

Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I am 66 year old and having pain in knees and legs, not getting strength much. But I do all the work, driving walking. I have no other problems. I take pain killers. But I am not feeling comfortable with my legs. I shall be great full, if you suggest some thing so that I could get relief from this problem. Regards.

Hello. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15 min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.

I had taken I pill abt 2 months back. My period came after about 21 days and it was very very light. Was different from normal period. Then after about 28 days I had normal period. My period usually Comes early. But this time it came on time. Now in this month it has been almost 30 days. But no sign of period yet. I have not indulged in any sexual activity also. I would advice you to wait for another week. Occasionally periods can be delayed due to stress, physical exertion or hormonal changes. If it still fails to come do a urine pregnancy test and then take progesterone tablets to bring about a bleed.

Investigations adv: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

One of psychiatrist tell me that I had taken lots of medicine as I was hospitalized 3 times in a year and therefore depersonalised has taken place and feeling numbness in entire head due to heavy medicine and waves r feeling in my head. I' m suffering by ra from last 10 years. Currently on medication. Sulfalazine 1000 - 1 tab, od. [ to be continue] methotraxate 15 - every sunday" folic acid (5) - every wed & friday" hydroxy chloroquine (400) - 1 tab, odat hs" amitrityline hydrochloride (75+20) 1tab od at hs [ to be continued] inj. Depomedrol (2ml) i. M. - report once after 2 weeks. Famotidine (40) - 1 tab odac - to be continued and doc adviced me to visit again after all medication for 2 mnths. Doc also advised me for ncv test of all limbs. I have morning stiffness, swelling in wrists, trembling in fingers, knee stiffness with movement difficulty. Have formed deformity in fingers, limbs. Swan neck deformity in fingers. Brain mri is normal. But incidental finding shows:- hypertrophic adenoids. Both knees r reduced by 73. 5%. Both wrists are deviated ulnerly. Now, please tell me, what would I do in this situation! I am in regular supervision of occupational therapist for last 2 yrs.
