I am 32 years age and having back pain for more than 2 years, have you any solutions?
Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

the results of meniscal repair depends on the site of the meniscal injury. Only peripheral tear have better outcomes. there is always a risk of failure of repair because the meniscus is not well vascularised (doesnt have much blood supply except in the periphery). if you still have pain then you may require a repeat MRI to see if the tear has recurred. speak to your surgeon

My sister was unable to balance and unable to walk herself but she can move her legs in sitting position. She's 25 years old and from last 11 months she can't walk. Nothing happened to her she can't move all of a sudden she can not walk. We done mri, x-rays ,and many other reports but doctor also can not understand that what happened to her. Some doctor says she has some kind of virus. Before 2 years she has thyroid also. We have do many treatments but no improvement has seen MRI also has nothing serious in it. All reports are normal .some her hemoglobin is low around 9.5 to 10.

Your sister's medical history is suggestive of a probable auto-immune disorder like some form of a polyneuropathy lke Gullain -Barre syndrome. She requires intensive physiotherapy. She should be made to assume standing position using a TILTING TABLE (a standing frame to make bed-ridden patients to stand in physiotherapy clinics) for 20 minutes two times a day. Active assisted lower limb (leg) movements using SUSPENSION THERAPY. MUSCULAR ELECTRICAL STIMULATION CAN BE GIVEN. The above treatments will be available in a physiotherapy rehabilitation set up. You need to do strict permanent alterations in your sister's diet pattern for complete recovery. AVOID THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: 1.coffee, tea 2.branded health drinks 3. White sugar and products made of white sugar like sweets, cakes, ice creams, bread, bun and all other bakery items 4. Maida products like samosa, puffs, parotta, naan etc 5.high carbohydrate food like potatoes, white rice 6, dairy products (packet milk, curd) 7.noodles,vermicelli, pasta, pizza. 8.NON VEGETARIAN FOOD INCLUDING EGGS INCLUDE HIGHLY ALKALINE FOOD .(LIST GIVEN BELOW) 1.wheatgrass juice, to be taken everyday in empty stomach in the morning. Any other food should be taken after an interval of half an hour. 2.vegetable soup (carrot, beetrot, beans, turnip, coriander, curry leaves, mint leaves) 5.spinach soup 6. Ashgourd juice (white pumpkin) 7.Banana pith (stem) juice. 8.Hand pounded unpolished rice. 9.groundnuts, almonds, pista,walnut, figs,dates, pomogranate,guava. 10. Bilva juice in the morning. SUN BATH with loose fitting cotton clothes for five minutes between 7-7: 30 am in morning. I can prescribe highly effective specific herbal medicines for a complete recovery once I get a detailed overview of her general health status and associated medical conditions.

Hi Dear Lybrate user] U hv to avoid following things 1.fine wheat or meda made products 2.Bekari products as Biskit, Namakin etc 3. Fermented products as edali, dhokla etc 4. Market made sweets 5. Buffalo Milk Butter Ghee etc 6 Avoid ladyfinger, Patoto, Cluster beans 7 Citric acid fruits 8 Oily, Spicy, fatty, Fried foods, chaines panjabi Junk food etc Use following food stuffs which r light, easy to digest & gave bust of energy 1. Fibrous wheat Barley made chapati 2 Saindhav salt 3. Mung, tuvar dal 4 Daliya, Khichadi 5.Indian Desi cow's milk, ghee, butter 6. Fruits- Pomegranate, apple 7. Dry fruit only black kishmish 8. Shoulder pain & armIt is called as peri arthritis shoulder and for that you can do hot water fermentation and ice therapy at home. If you have shoulder pain then the stiffness will develop more that might make the arm to have less improvement which might make you to feel more pain the arm. And also cervical pillow can be used which might make you to have better posture of the shoulder neck and arm.

Recently 3 weeks ago my pressure sought to 190/160. During that period my left hand and leg has totally got numb. I see fewer strength in it. My pressure is now normal after having losar 50 twice daily along with Natrilix SR once a day. However the numbness in hand and leg remains and I fell a strange burnt out sensation in my palm and toes. Please advice.

u are hypertensive. when the pressures are very high there are chances of either a bleeding of a blood vessel or a clot in the brain that can cause that kind of numbness and weakness that happened at that time. that should have been taken seriouslt and a immediate ct scan of d brai should have been done. if it is not done u should get it done at the earliest. medication have to b started accordingly

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn Exercises from Physiotherapist. 3. Don't sit on floor. 4. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 5. Wear knee cap. 6. Take calcium, methylcobalmine and Glucosamine supplement for one month.

Take some pain killers in acute conditions but symptoms need some vivid examination to find out the cause then diagnosis. Warm foamentation May help. Few specific exercises can be consulted from me by other mode.
