Make her to lie on abdomen - place two pillows under hip region - ask her to lie for 15-20 minutes daily or you may repeat 2-3 times daily. It may help reduce sciatica. Ask her to do lie on back - bend knees - 1. Take towards chest and relax - repeat for 25 times, 2. Take the knees towards sides - repeat for 25 times; this may relieve from spondylitis. Follow diet controlling thyroid problem - do regular walking for 30 minutes.

Hello- Knee pain and sound / crepts from knee suggest of inadequate quantity of synovial fluid in knee joint. Follow these tips- 1. Maintain healthy weight: 2. Cold and heat therapy: Acute pain in the knee can be relieved with cold therapy. Applying ice to the affected area not only reduced pain but also minimises swelling. For chronic pain, heat therapy would work better and help ease stiffness. But you need to discuss the frequency and intensity of these therapies with your doctor or physiotherapist. 3. Change food habites. Add in your daily food calcium, vitamines, minirales, proteins, milk etc. Do arobic excersices, yoga, cycling will help to you. Use knee cap will help. Massaje narayan taila two times in s day. Increase calcium in leavel in body.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Low back pain is caused by wrong posture and movement. Our spine bears tremendous load despite this being a vulnerable structure as it is made of small pieces of but ones (vertebrae) arranged one about i've the other. Such an inherently unstable structure gets affected very easily if we don't take good care of it. Hence lifting objects by bending. Sitting for hours in crouched posture ate not good for back. You need to consult an orthopaedic surgeon to assess your damage and recommend measures like medicines. Postural advises. Back- strengthening exercises etc. Such guidance on these can be obtained from internet as well.

Dear Lybrate user, Take care of your diet first. Do not take rice cold drinks coffee Linda etc. Sweets you must avoid. Do massage daily of your calf muscles at night with seasame oil. Take vitamin D daily with calcium. Also rake echo sprain daily one tablet.

I have back pain for some days. What should i do?

Kindly show me photograph& the x rays of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Contact me again, if needed.

It's may be due to gout, you should go for investication -uric acid, ra,& x ray knee joint. Till massage with warm oil for atleast 10 min 2 times a days it will help you great.

Pain and swelling in joints could be a symptom of many things. you need to be evaluated by an expertise such as an orthopedician who would advice you to undergo a battery of tests such as Esr, cbc, CRP, Rh factr etc to rule out conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and certain inflammatory conditions affectng the joints.and correlate clinically...it also depends if the pain n swelling is symmetrical or not.

Hi *take rest *increase fluid intake *gently stretch or massage your lower leg muscle. * apply heat to tight muscles or cold to tender muscles. * do not wear high heels. Do reply for detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.
