Common causes of headache are -- Fever, migraine, stress, cold, sinusitis, anxiety, tensions ,vision problem, high BP. Commonest being inadequate sleep. Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

Sir I have small inside my one of the ear due to that I cont hear less 50 db sound. For that I gone for operation 10 years back to close that hole but it was not success. What should I do now because listening only through one of my ear. Should I go again operation? how much it is successful?

Hi, take complete bed rest. Consume high protein diet like sprouts, egg, soya, milk and milk products to regain the energy and strength which is lost due to the infection. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. Consume plenty of fluids. Take the antibiotics prescribed by the doctor for 10-14 days. Repeat the blood test after 15 days. Avoid outside food and fresh and hot home made food is preferred.

Dear doctor I am diabetic patient at present my sugar level after food 252. Know I am taking GLYCOMET-GP 2mg Forte tab. And some time my two foots very pain and pinching some times under the foot burning. And I am taking PREGABALIN 75mg also. Pls any doctor advice me I am taking correct medicine are I have took any other medicines. Mr. Lybrate-user, uncontrolled diabetes, does affect various organs and a number of functions in our body. Peripheral neuropathy is one of those complications of diabetes. This leads to pain and burning sensation in feet as well as burning sensation. The drug pragabalin is quite effective for reducing the pain. But prime need is strict blood sugar control - fasting closer to 100 mg and pp 150 to 160 mg, hba1c%<7. If this is not achieved other drugs may not show much benefit. So see tha blood sugar levels are controlled better.

Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight. * body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soup or salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. These type of symptoms in elderly patients are usually due to copd. In this lung disease, patient has cough with phelgm production with breathing problems, which increases in between causing more problem in those days. Common in people who have been smoker or exposed to pollution, dust, gaseous etc. This disease is best managed by inhalers containing bronchodilator medicines, but the best treatment remain quitting smoking. But the sad part is like many other diseases, this disease is manageable and treatable, but not curable.

To get started: find the right muscles. To identify your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream or tighten the muscles that keep you from passing gas. These maneuvers use your pelvic floor muscles. Once you've identified your pelvic floor muscles, you can do the exercises in any position, although you might find it easiest to do them lying down at first. Perfect your technique. Tighten your pelvic floor muscles, hold the contraction for three seconds, and then relax for three seconds. Try it a few times in a row. When your muscles get stronger, try doing kegel exercises while sitting, standing or walking. Maintain your focus. For best results, focus on tightening only your pelvic floor muscles. Be careful not to flex the muscles in your abdomen, thighs or buttocks. Avoid holding your breath. Instead, breathe freely during the exercises. Repeat 3 times a day. Aim for at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day. Don't make a habit of using kegel exercises to start and stop your urine stream. Some doctors think this could cause a bladder infection.
