My hair fall just started 2 years ago and still it didn't stop falling, consulted so many doctors but everyone said maintain your diet, eat healthy food, eat sprouts, beans and I took treatment in some clinics and hospitals also but no medication worked for me. --->my top of the scalp pains when I press slightly and mostly hair falling from that portion, so I think I have some medical problem. Can you recommend me if I need some lab test and what are those tests I need to do so that I will be happy and it May help me.

Hello, Hair loss is a subtle metabolic disorder. It may be related to disease such as diabetes, for example, or following typhoid infection. It may be due to some fungal infection on the scalp, or to hormonal imbalance. A deficiency of calcium, magnesium, and zinc may affect the nourishment of the hair enough that the hair starts to fall out. And there is a definite hereditary factor, in which genes appear to trigger hair loss at a certain age. Pitta individuals, and those who have excess pitta in their system, are more likely than the other body types to lose their hair early in life, or to find that their hair becomes prematurely thin or gray. Excess pitta in the sebaceous gland, at the root of the hair, or folliculitis (inflammation of the hair follicles) can make the person start losing hair. You can try some home remedies: ALOE VERA: To reduce pitta and preserve the health of your hair, drink Aloe Vera juice (⅓ cup preferably with a pinch of cumin) 3 times a day for about 3 months. You can also scrape out the gel from an aloe plant with a spoon, and apply to your hair and scalp (and face too). ONION PASTE: Onion paste helps you cleanse your scalp and increases hair growth. You just need to add onions in the mixer and prepare a paste. Apply the paste on your scalp. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with water. GUAVA LEAVES: Add guava leaves to hot water and boil it for a few minutes till the time the water turns black. Using cotton, apply the solution on your scalp. Repeat this process two to three times in a week. AMLA JUICE: Amla does wonders to the hair and is one of the best cures for baldness. Take equal portions of fresh Amla juice and Lemon juice and apply the mixture on your scalp. Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse off. COCONUT and ALMOND MILK: Take 5-10 almonds and blend them with appropriate amount of tender coconut malai. Apply this nourishing hair pack to provide Vitamin E and many other nutrients to your hair. HONEY and EGG YOLK: Mix honey and egg yolk together and massage on your scalp for 30 minutes. Egg yolk will help stimulate hair growth. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR: Mix one part of apple cider vinegar in one part of water. Apply the mixture on your scalp, massage gently and leave on for 5 minutes before washing off with a mild cleanser.

Set specific times to eat and stick by this schedule. Once your body gets used to eating on a schedule, you should start to feel hungry at these times. Avoid drinks before or during mealtimes. If you want to increase your appetite, avoid filling up on beverages. Wait half an hour before or after meals to drink. Eat small meals. Eating smaller meals frequently throughout the day can help stimulate your appetite. Instead of trying to get down three large square meals, aim to consume four to six smaller meals.

Hi lybrate-user, Yes you need to loose weight. You can do the same by taking some simple steps: 1. Eliminate all processed foods from your diet. This includes high sugar drinks, such as cola, fruit drinks and cool aide. Eliminate any additional sugar you use in your coffee. Stop eating any high fat, high sugar foods such as candy bars and cookies. 2. Replace all liquid drinks with ice water. The body has to work harder to process ice water because of its cold temperature. This helps the body burn a few extra calories every time you drink it. Water also helps to cleanse the body of any toxins. 3. Drink at least 10 glasses of water a day for a month. Avoid using any type of sugar or artificial sweeteners to flavor water. They won’t help you. 4. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, especially apples and citrus fruits. These accelerate the body’s fat burning process. Avoid buying canned goods. These items have large amounts of sodium and sugars in them, which can interfere with your body’s ability to lose weight and reduce body fat. 5. Consume plenty of whole grains. Replace white bread with whole wheat bread. Replace white pasta with whole-wheat pasta and white rice with whole grain rice. Buy whole grain cereals and breakfast bars. 6. Eat plenty of small meals throughout the day, as opposed to 3 big meals per day. Eating small meals throughout the day keeps the metabolism constantly working. It also decreases your appetite. 7. Exercise daily, 6 to 7 days a week. Perform various cardiovascular exercises for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. 8. Lift weights for 30 minutes after each session of cardiovascular exercise. Perform various weight lifting exercises that work the bicep, triceps, pectoral muscles, latissimus dorsi, anterior and interior deltoids. 9. Perform squats and lunges for 3 to 4 days a week after you complete your weight lifting routine for the arms. Building muscle in the legs is imperative to weight loss because the more developed the muscles are in the legs, the more calories you burn.

Madam, I am a vegetarian, nonalcoholic, but since 2009 a diabetic as per doctor advise, I have been taking glimisave 1mg since 2009 till last 3 months months back, and during my sickness checkup with manipal hospital, I was asked to take M1 instead of img glimisave by Dr. Pankaj. Which I am taking regularly once a day in the morning one hour before bf/lunch - I take lunch in the morning as is my habit since birth. I am 57 now. Can you guide me if I can go into ayurveda products for control, elimination of diabetics now, which I am to believe is more better than alopathic intake.

Ayurveda helps a lot to maintain your sugar level but alreday you are on allopathy medication so suddenly we cant stop allopathy medicine so we have to see your reports and life style and foodhabits, based on that we can prescribe ayurveda medication along with allopathy medicine initially. later slowly we can reduce your allopathy medicine and you can be on ayurveda medicines. once your sugar level maintains then slowly we can withdrawn ayurveda medication also then you have to maintain with regular diet and exercise.
