An year ago while piking up bucket I got my back injured and was not able sit for long and while standing my back just get stuck from left side and takes a minute to stand straight I have seen many docs and done everything now taking physio therapy. Still I am facing the same problem not able to sit for long and when I try to stand my back just get problems in standing and takes me a minute to stand straight and walk. Do not know what happened and what to do nothing came in x-ray twice.

Do hot fomentation x twice daily. Postural correction- always sit with a small pillow at your low back. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises like bridging and bhujang asana x twice daily. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees. And get vit d levels checked.

Neck pain is usually due to muscle sprain. Analgesics will help. Regarding sore throat, physical exam and throat swab is required.

To begin with start sleeping on a hard bed and soft thick cushion mattress. Concentrate on spinal mobility exercises and strengthing of back muscles see it work.

You neck pain causes could likely be: 1> Poor Posture - during sleep /during work 2> Muscle strain. Treatment: * Give your muscles a break - When you lie down, Make sure your head in a neutral position and that you’ve got a comfortable pillow. More rest is often the best remedy even if you just rolled out of bed. * Avoid activities such as lifting and sports that make pain worse. * Do stretching and strengthening exercises to keep your neck flexible and strong and prevent stiffness. * Avoid or change any activities that may be causing your neck pain, such as sitting for a long time at the computer or doing too much overhead work at a time. * Gently massage or rub the area to relieve pain and encourage blood flow. NOTE: In case you smoke then - Smoking slows healing because it decreases blood supply and delays tissue repair.

Nutrum is a multivitamin tablet and has no effect on apnea. Ideally, you should undergo a polysomnography (sleep study) to confirm the diagnosis. The, correct treatment can be started.

Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform me.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Pl consult after 5 days.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Left sided position is advised in pregnancy as it helps to keep better blood flow to baby. But you can sleep on other side or straight too. You can just change position in between to feel better and relaxed.

Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Hi if pain is severe take bed rest and apply dfo gel followed by hot water bag. As pain is relieved you should start with static back exercise and progress to strengthening exercise of back and core muscles but start exercise in supervision of physiotherapist.

Drink 2-3 glass of water in the morning empty stomach, and 3-4 litres of water during the day daily. Walk for minimum 5 minutes. You may also mix two spoons of isabgol in a glass of warm milk and drink it just before you go to bed. It will help. Thank You

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back. You can wear socks to make your body feel warm and also keep a door mat whenever you sit on a chair.

I am 65 now suddenly getting knee joint and back pain when standing more time how to eliminate these with minimum of exercise and less medication.

Your age factor indicates you are suffer from osteoporosis but best way to eliminate is walking - with knee support belt - for osteoporosis take milk, dates, banana, green leafy vegetables, eggs.

Take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do elbow exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
