It should be excessive exertion to the joint and muscle. You should reduce the practice time for sometime and do the knee, hip and ankle strengthening exercises. And take calcium tablet for 1 to 2 month.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: Take Mag Phos 12x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Rest. Ceasing activity for a few days allows injured tissue and even nerve roots to begin to heal, which in turn will help relieve lower back pain. However, more than a few days of rest can lead to a weakening of the muscles, and weak muscles have to struggle to adequately support the spine. Patients who do not regularly exercise to build strength and flexibility are more likely to experience recurrent or prolonged lower back pain. Heat and Ice Packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of shoulder pain, but at your age if there is no history of any injury, it can be due to some inflammation, tendinitis etc. Please let me know if there is any associated swelling, skin redness etc? start with gentle anti inflammatory medication which suits you, ice packs 3-4 times in a day at home, intensive physical therapy for around 2 weeks and let me know in 2 weeks time how you are feeling? I would, if possible, also like to see your doctor's prescription papers and x rays or mri, any investigation which you may have done for the problem. Green tea can be taken once or twice a day . A general healthy approach is important . If she is overweight then she needs to reduce weight slowly and studily . Doing yoga regularly( with pranayam ) helps in regularising the metabolism . You can also try homeopathy which can address the gouty tendency and remove it .

Dear low back pain k liye you can do it perfectly 1, Lying on your stomach, prop yourself up on your forearms. Align your elbows directly under your shoulders. Press firmly through your palms and the tops of your feet. Press your pubic bone forward. You will feel sensations in your lower back, but breathe through it. You are allowing blood flow int From all-fours, bring your right knee behind your right wrist with your lower leg at a diagonal toward your left hip. Square off your hips toward the ground. Bend forward. Widen the elbows and place one hand on top of the other as a pillow for your forehead. Hold 2-3 minutes and then switch to the left side for 2-3 minutes. O the lower back for healing. Hold for 1-3 minutes. 2, Lying on your back, bend both knees with the feet flat on the ground. Bend the right knee like a figure four, with the outer left ankle to the right thigh. Lift the left foot into the air, bringing the left calf parallel to the ground. Thread your right hand between the opening of the legs and interlace your hands behind your left thigh. Hold 2-3 minutes and then repeat on the other side 3…Scoot your buttocks all the way into the wall and swing your feet up the wall. This pose is excellent for relaxing the muscles of the lower back and drains stagnant fluid from the feet and ankles. Do this pose after a challenging workout and always after traveling by plane. Hold for 5-10 minutes. I hope you will fit and fine. Thnx.

She can do massage by seasame oil one inch above and one inch below the knee for 15 times each point twice daily. And do massage in the hollow portion of the knee and on the shin bone four two inch before the knee.

Working on Computers - Neck Pain - Say "NO" with Ayurveda

Cervical spondylosis is a common degenerative condition of the cervical spine. It is most likely caused by age-related wear and tear affecting vertebral bones, joints and discs of the neck. As discs age, they fragment, lose water and becomes stiff. Body reacts towards it and develop bony growth i.e. osteophytes. These bony growths put pressure on spinal nerves causing symptoms of the disease. According to Ayurveda this is called Grivasandhigat vata. It is aggravated by vitiated vata and ama. Ama is undigested food in a toxin form and it blocks micro channels of the body due to its viscosity and thus causing accumulation of vata dosha in the neck region by blocking the channels of neck.

Aggravating Factors
 

  1. Repeated motion injury in metro cities mainly Computer related . These can be worsened by bad posture and sitting for extended periods of time.
  2. Familial cases have been reported; a genetic cause is possible.
  3. Smoking also may be a risk factor.
  4. Ayurveda views exposure to cold, indigestion , prolonged sitting in inappropriate posture also as aggravating factor 

Symptoms
 

  1. Intermittent neck and shoulder pain is the most common symptom seen. 
  2. The neck pain experienced with cervical spondylosis is often accompanied by stiffness, with radiation into the shoulders or back of head that may be chronic or episodic with long periods of remission. 
  3. One third of patients with cervical spondylosis present with headache, and greater than two thirds present with unilateral or bilateral shoulder pain. A significant amount of these patients also present with arm, forearm, and/or hand pain.
  4. Greater than one third of patients with cervical spondylysis have anxious or depressed moods related to their decreased mobility.


Management of Cervical Spondylosis at Sukhayurveda

1) Sukhayurveda Detox therapies for Cervical Spondylosis

Consult an orthopaedic doctor. If required get a x-ray done for back. It may be due to some stress and not some thing major. Medicines and exercises should help.
