My son is 22 months old and is very fussy about eating. I checked with doctor and he suggested me to give him Normatone. Is it fine giving this syrup to toddler less than 2 years.

If height & weight of your child are within normal limits, he does not need any medication. More important is training child for right feeding practices with patience, love & good coomunication.

Dear lybrate-user. This is simply called absent mindedness. You have to improve your presence in the present to overcome this. Be creative and do things a little bit fast. Take care.

Im 20 years old girl .i want to increase my breast size as they are smaller . I did not used any tablets till now and I want you to suggest medication to increase my breast size.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, take sabal serrulata q, 10 drops with water twice daily. Do massage in circular motions in upwards direction using olive oil. Certain exercises like pushups, wall pushups, bench presses, chest presses and chest compressions can help in breast enlargement. These exercises involve the movement of the arms and shoulders, which will tone the skin and muscle tissues in and around the breast area. This in turn will make your breasts firmer and appear larger. Do these exercises daily for at least 30 minutes. To be sure you are doing them correctly, seek professional advice from a gym instructor or trainer.

My girlfriend tried giving me hand job twice, but I never ejaculate. Then I do it with my hand. Is this because my penis is small in size and width (4" when erect). Also while giving me hand job she ends up pulling back my foreskin and touching the inner pink part of my penis. It's very sensitive and I just can't allow anybody or even myself to rub my inner pink part of my penis. Of course I can touch or allow someone to touch it (the feeling is very arousal and electrifying when touched) but only touch and not to rub that part. I am worried whether this would affect my sex life when I get married.

Hi lybrate-user yours is a very serious problem which takes the quality life away from its victim. You must have consulted many doctors and I am sure no one suggested a permanent solution to this. Currently you are depressed with so much pains and your reaction is quite natural. But, this is not going to solve the problem any how. Homoeopathy can offer you good alternative and it can help you a lot. It is very much possible to cure your problem with homeopathic medicines. Right now I am suggesting some medicines for you and if you feel better in any sense then contact me, I will solve your problem 1. Aurum metallicum 6/thrice daily/1 day take this medicine for one day and report after 7 days of this. Observe properly of any slight changes after this medicine and let me know about it.

I am having gall bladder stones along with Crohn's disease. Should I first operate the gall bladder and then focus about the Crohn's disease in case of persistence of further symptoms or should I first treat the disease and then go for the gall bladder operation? Please suggest what to do. I am also experiencing quite a lot of weight loss. I have lost around 6 kgs in around 12 days. Please also tell me the cause of this and if I am prone to some other complications. Other symptoms include vomiting and diarrhoea. Thanking you.

Your Crohn's disease will be there with you. If you are symptomatic for Gallstones, which is difficult to say due to your underlying Chrons disease, it is advisable to undergo surgery for Gall stones. As you r loosing weight it is advisable to undergo complete GI examination including UGI scopy, Colonoscopy and CECT abdomen to rule out malignancy.

I have no beard & mustache. I want to look mature. And want to get some weight. please help.

Hye, Thanks for the query. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1. Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2. Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3. Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4. Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5. Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6. Drink your calories It may be tough to meet your calorie requirements by just eating. Drinking milk, lassi, milkshakes or fruit smoothies with little or no sugar can be a great way to load up on the required calories. 7. Try and eat fast (but don’t choke on it) Your body takes some time to give signals of satiety which is why eating fast can help you eat more. 8. Focus on recovery after each workout Stretching exercises, foods rich in carbohydrates can help recover your body significantly. Also, you should aim for 8 hours of sleep as inadequate sleep can cause several problems. 9. Be patient with yourself Hoping to gain weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Even if you follow all the advice that is there, you may end up gaining just 1-2 kilos in a month. Every body is different, and just because you are not seeing results in terms of weight gain, you shouldn’t feel discouraged. Living healthy by eating the right diet will make you feel better and more positive about life and increase your strength. 10. Believe in yourself You could get your hormonal profile done to rule out any issues.

From the past two days my left eye is twitching. Moreover, sometime I feel i get blurred for 1 second. Please help me out.

You seem to be having dry eyes. The treatment requires lubricating eye drops. However you need to be checked by an eye doctor because sometimes additional medications maybe required as well (e.g. If there is associated allergy in the eye or a small spectacle number which has been missed and is producing these symptoms)

My grand daughter is having constipation problem for several years. She is 18 years now. Tried several doctors and medicines. Still not solved. Your advice please.

General Physician (AM)
Alternative Medicine Specialist, Chandigarh
Limit the amount of white bread, sugar, meat, junk food and milk products (cheese, milk, butter, cream.) and increasing fresh fruits, veggies, water and fiber (beans, oats,) also yogurt really helps due to the probiotics. Maybe you could do a food diary for a period, eliminate a couple of items at a time and build up until you have added enough other of good items to make the stools loose. Oatmeal helps out tremendously. Figure out the diet and once you've added enough good things, slowly pull back on the laxatives and pay attention as you go. This could be a food allergy, do some research, usually its lactose (dairy), nuts, sugar, food coloring, preservatives. Try to avoid boxed and processed foods which have more preservatives, calories, fat, high carb. I hope some of this helps. In the mean time try (biochemic) biocombination numb 4. Requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your personality and to treat you symptomatically. Treatment is available, safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication. Consult me in private.
