Any brand with isi mark is good. Then in your local area, what's available in market should be asked by medical doctor.

1) what is the medication to get periods a week early? It will be falling on my wedding day, so I want to prepare it, I don't want to postpone it or else it will fall on my honeymoon. 2) I have a regular cycle of 30 to 33 days. 3) I took primolut n to postpone my period by 4 days in June 2016. 4) I have my recent periods on 27th Aug and 27th september.

Hi Dr, I am Brinda, 30yrs, F. Married since 7years. PCOD (on glycomet 850 and Normoz. Gone through 6 Follicular study no results. I conceived on own before 4years but it was miscarriage on 6th week (Only sac was seen could not see baby till 6th week scan). Now my Dr. Suggested for Advanced Diagnostic Hystereolaproscopy to find any blocks in my tubes and other fertile aspects. I would like to know if I surely have to undergo this laparoscopy or as an alternate could I go for IUI or IVF to conceive skipping this laparoscopy. Please advise. Thanks.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Its been 4 years since your last pregnancy which unfortunately had ended in a miscarriage. The medicines given to you must have resulted in ovulation, and the doctors must have adviced you to have sexual relations in the ovulatory period. But if this has not resulted in a pregnancy over 6 cycles, it means there is a need to evaluate your fallopian tube patency. Patency of the fallopian tubes is done by many methods: 1. Hsg - hysterosalpingography, which is an x ray taken when a dye is injected in your uterus 2. Sonosalpingography, where saline introduced in uterine cavity is seen on sonography to assess fallopian tubal patency 3. Hysterolaparoscopy. Here hysteroscopy will evaluate uterus and its lining, and laparoscopy will be used to assess the peritoneum, ovaries, fallopian tubal patency etc tubal patency will need to be established before taking up iui. So it is prudent to go for any of the tests mentioned above for tubal patency. If you want to go for ivf, tubal status need not be checked because in ivf we bypass the function of the tube i. E intratubal fertilisation (as this is made to happen -" invitro")

There may be an cervical incompetence... that is the mouth of the uterus might be loose, that may need a stitch in next pregnancy before 4 th month, and remain till just before delivery.

Certainly improve your diet - it will make a big difference to your whole body and blood. You will have to include medium light exercises as well. You can get a lot of relief from homeopathic anemia medicines.

I am about to get married, need to ask about family planing issue. Me and my wife would be using condoms for the same as we are planning baby after 2 years. I need to ask is there any side effects of using condoms for such a period? And also how to stop pregnancy if in case there is unprotected mate between us. Please do answer this as we are bit confused.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- you can do sex without condom in safe period of the pregnancy (4-10th day & 21-28th day in a 28 days cycle) however in between these days you can use condom to avoid pregnancy. Don't go for hormonal pills for contraception as it will reduce your chances of pregnancy in future when you need most.

Dear user. I can understand. Foreplay definitely help in loosening the vaginal hole so that you will be able to penetrate easily. Moreover, foreplay promotes lubrication of the vagina so that the penetration and movement of penis inside vagina is smooth and painless for both the partners. Take care.

Hi. I have sex with my gf many times without condom but for not taking risk so that she may get pregnant I always used to take out penis from vagina when it seems that sperm is going to ejaculate during intercourse. My this act can prevent pregnancy. Is this a good sexual habit. Can it have effect on her sexual desire.

Dear lybrate-user though you are taking precautions on your part but they are not enough. Pregnancy chances are still there if not very high.

Hi after removing uterus sex is to be avoided for 3 months to give time for internal sutures to heal. After that sex is not a problem. Uterus has nothing to do with sex.
