Hi sir, I am a female of 34 years old. My chewing teeth are almost decayed and having trouble while eating. What is the solution for this and will this also cause indigestion of food? plseaseadvice.

Hi , you need to get a check up done with a dentist who can do fillings for decayed tooth. Or can come to our clinic for a consultation (free of cost). Without a physical check up we can't advise exactly.

I have few gaps in between my teeth. What would be the best and cost effective way to remove those gaps and if braces are the one of the solution then, what would be its average cost in Delhi? (I got small gaps in between both upper jaw and lower jaw!)

If the gaps are minimal in between your teeth, you can get them filled cosmetically with the help of veneers or laminates. If the gaps are bigger, you have to get them orthodontically corrected. Visit a dentist.

You need to get your jaw immediately checked as there maybe some problem with the jaw joint and more delay may aggrevate the problem too much leading to permanent problem.

For the past 3 days I have had eye pain at the back of both my eyes. It also hurts when I move my eyes. It is in both my eyes but it appears to alternate. I also feel as though my eye muscles are very stiff and sore and limits my eye movement. I also feel as though my vision is zoning out, blurring my vision and making it difficult to focus. I feel as though I am constantly fighting to keep my eyes focused. Furthermore I have a heavy pressure feeling behind and around my eyes and in my head. It also feels around my nose. I have heavy brow ache and also tension type headache. In general my face, eyes and head feels tense and sore. I am also getting intermittent ear ache, my temples are tender, my cheek also feels slightly numb and I feel like I have toothache slightly. I do not have any nose congestion or cold symptoms so just wondering what this can be?

We need more investigations (full mouth x-ray) to decide upon treatment. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Sir, my aunt's gums are inflamed. Please sir can you tell me what should I do. Can you please tell me the treatment.
Inflammation can be brought down by scaling of teeth. But before that thorough examination by dentist is necessary.

I did scaling two weeks ago now my front lower teeth gets tingling for past 3 or 4 days.

BDS
Dentist, Surat
I did scaling two weeks ago now my front lower teeth gets tingling for past 3 or 4 days.
It's a normal thing to happen after scaling! but doesn't mean scaling shouldn't be done. The reason why it happens is during scaling the tooth is exposed to high level of vibration and ultrasonic sound, which disrupts pulp all response temporarily. Moreover when the calculus is removed from the tooth, it exposes the tooth surfaces of root portion naked, which are normally covered by gums but in person with calculus there would be calculus between the tooth surface and gums. Eventually when the gum heals and reattaches to the tooth surface, sensitivity/tingling goes away. From person to person the time varies between a week to 2 week with maximum time of a month. Meanwhile you can use any desensitization toothpaste to relieve the tingling.

I felt in an bike accident on 3 years back. At that time my 3 teeth has broken, on of the tooth has broken half and had root canal treatment to it. Now am planning to replace my broken teeth. If you have root canal treatment done, why do you want to extract your tooth. If there is a problem with root canal, then go for re rct or apicectomy whatever your dentist suggests. And take a crown over RC treated tooth for looks. Go for E max if you want excellent esthetics, but try to be with your real tooth, dont get them extracted

This sir is most probably due to weakening of bone support and gums.Which is why you are having gaps.I suggest sir that you consult your local dentist for thorough cleaning and oral prophylaxis, check for cavities , use fluoride toothpastes. And mouthwashes. Also regularly please floss your teeth with dental floss.

From my teeth blood is coming few months before I hav shown to Dr. Dr. Told me that you have fix cab on teeth. But bec of job I hav not done. Is it's risky or not now their is no bleeding from my teeth

BDS

Hi, Bleeding might not be from the tooth but from the gums surrounding it. There might be swelling in your gums and whenever you brush or bite something hard you will find blood oozing out. So if this is the case then you should go for gum treatment.

Loss of tongues as well as opposite of tongues was also aches (burned), Please advice me what should I take?
To avoid infection and reduce pain in a first-degree burn on the tongue: rinse the area well with cool water for a few minutes. Remove any dirt or particles that may be on the burn. Wet a clean cloth with cool water and hold it on top of the burn. Suck on ice chips or a popsicle to soothe the pain. Gargle with cool water or salt water. Avoid warm or hot liquids, which could irritate the burn. Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain and inflammation. Sprinkle a few grains of sugar on the tongue to relieve pain.

Dear. Sir. I am facing problem with stomach. Means digestion. When I use to eat food. After few minutes. I feal like ...
The vomit sensation you are talking about is known as gag reflex. It is a protective mechanism of the human body to avoid the entrance of any unwanted material down the throat. In your case, you are experiencing the reflex while brushing, that means your brushing pattern might be wrong. You are taking your brush to much deeper areas than required. Also, you might not be cleaning your tongue properly. Visit your dentist and ask him about some correct brushing patterns and start using a tongue cleaner. Whenever you experience gag try to focus on some other activity or object, such as your big toe. It diverts you and thus the gag stops. Avoid mouth breathing, that increases the gag. If the problem persists even after changing your brushing/cleaning pattern and avoiding mouth breathing there is more to it. Pay a visit to both your dentist and gasteroenterologist.
