Hello, In that case please keep 2 pillows below your waist after ejaculation and keep lying for at least 10 min. This should prevent sperms from coming out.

Hi, no need to take pill as it's on 5th day of period. Usually 8 to 21 days you require protection.(this is roughly considering 28-30days cycles. Not same for all).

If overweight then try to reduce weight get an ultrasound pelvis done to check for ovaries for cystic changes if your periods have just started within a year, you can wait for few more months for them to settle & be regular better seek a gynae who can prescribe needed medicines n further tests.

You can indulge in sex till 7th month of pregnancy if you don't have any problems and your gynaecologist has given you green signal. Surely you can have oral sex. It will not harm baby by any means.

Metabolic syndrome refers to a group of conditions that occur together and increase your chances of developing stroke, diabetes, and heart problems. This set of conditions includes high blood sugar, abnormal levels of cholesterol, abdominal fat, and high blood pressure. More importantly, having just any one of these conditions doesn't mean that you suffer from this problem.

What really brings about this condition?

Experts are still not sure as to what causes the development of this condition; the causes and risk factors can be manifold.

Some of the causes can be:

1. Insulin resistance -
 A hormone produced by the pancreas in your body, insulin plays the vital role of helping your body to use the glucose as fuel. unlikely she is pregnant with this episode. As it is 5 days already since the episode she will have to wait patiently to see if her next period comes on time, Also I would suggest she get a PAP smear done as she has had poscoital bleeding i.e bleeding after sex.

Hello lybrate-user, the delay in your period is due to Ipill and stress of getting pregnant. But don't worry, relax, when you have Ipill you may get delayed. For assurance you can go for urine test a home itself.

Hi, this question is for my friend. She got her periods on 9th August so her next date was 9th September. She had unprotected intercourse on 11th and 12th of august which is supposed to be a safe day. She did not get her periods on 9th of september so she underwent hCG blood test on 21st September. And the result was negative (beta level less than 2). But till now she has not got her periods. What next steps should be taken to get ensured 100% she is not pregnant? Please guide.
