Dear Ms. lybrate-user, Please check your TSH levels. If not under control, take the advice of your doctor to control it. Probably, your Blood pressure should come down with that. If your pressure is high despite normal TSH levels, he can start with a small dose of antihypertensive medication to control it. But before starting the medicine, make changes in your lifestyle vwith respect to diet & exercise. Also consume a simple diet with lots of fruits & vegetables to set your digestive system in order.

There is no cure for herpes. Antiviral medications can, however, prevent or shorten outbreaks during the period of time the person takes the medication. In addition, daily suppressive therapy (i.e. Daily use of antiviral medication) for herpes can reduce the likelihood of transmission to partners. You have to show a dermatologist.

In Your 30s - How Should You Take Care Of Your Love Life?

In Your 30s - How Should You Take Care Of Your Love Life?

Men in their 20s are more active and possess fast metabolic rate and they can be good in bed too, even after having a tiresome day. How can this not be possible in your 30s? This is because you have hit your 30s and there is a lot of difference in the peak you had in your previous ages. This change is quite critical, as what you do during these changes affects your overall sexual health.
The male menopause also known as andropause starts hitting individuals as early as 35. During this stage, there is a drop in the libido and even can cause erectile dysfunctions.

How do you avoid this?
Here what you can do on a regular basis to keep yourself fit at all times so you can be fit when it matters the most!

  • Check your family medical history
  • Check your testosterone levels proactively
  • Eliminate artificial sweeteners
  • Keep a check on your alcohol consumption
  • Dump the junk and add more veggies on the palate
  • Get a lot of sleep

What you can do to maintain it?

  1. Check your family medical history: Family history is an important determinant to understand the faults in one's genetic DNA. It matters even though you and your family must be living a different lifestyle or live in a different environment, but as they say, it is all in the genes. You can still lead a healthy sex life if you are active and fit at times available to you.
  2. Check your testosterone levels proactively: Declining levels of testosterone brings a lot of problems such as hair loss, decreased sex drive, depression and memory levels which is again a vicious cycle. To avoid this, include meat, fish, cheese and yogurt in your regular diet
  3. Eliminate artificial sweetenersSugar may not be our strongest friend, but it is our strongest foe for it all does other than lessening sweetness in our morning tea, coffee, diet soda, but also increases the risk of developing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
  4. Keep a check on your alcohol consumption: It is okay if we gulp down a drink or two of red wine daily, but if it is more than that, then you can say goodbye to lovemaking sessions as excessive drinking can not only destroy your liver and your gut and so on, but also impairs your libido. The key here is just moderation.
  5. Get a lot of sleep: A minimum 6 hours of sleep is ideal as it helps your brain health, manages your stress levels and most importantly optimizes the male hormone production, which helps you in a healthy libido to satiate your partner. Men who sleep less than 6 hours have an increased risk of stroke and heart disease as well. So take care of your body while you can before it's too late!

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Should I visit my doctor after every two months according to his advise though my sugar level is under control? Should I check my creatinine and liver function every year? If yes, please give reason. I am a diabetic patient and taking GMR M1 everyday.

Sugars keep fluctuating every second of your life. It's a very complex interplay of hormones, stress level, activity medication and the food intake. So,though your sugars may seem to be under control, slow and gradual changes do occur at the cellular level. So,it is advisable to get the check up done at regular intervals

DEAR Lybrate USER. This problem is due to irritation and inadequate nutrition of the brain. So follow few basic things …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) eat 5 gm of ajwain seeds along with 5 gm of jaggery after meals. B) take 60 ml of trifala juice along with 20 ml of honey early in the morning and at night before sleep. Do all these things for 15 days. It gives you good result. Consult to me for further suggestions. Thanks.
