Hi boil 1 ripe banana in 1 cup of milk, mash well. Take 3-4 times a day. Make an ointment by mixing an equal amount of powdered long pepper and turmeric with milk (preferably cow’s milk). Apply this on the external piles. Take arshantak vati 1-1 twice a day with warm water.

Hi basically she is suffering from the severe constipation, because of which, there is excessive bloating of the stomach. First of all you need to modify her diet, including her water intake which goes up to 5 to 6 litres per day additional to her diet. In the diet you can modify a green vegetables, hi fibre diet, plenty of liquids. You can modify her that according to her basic calorie and protein requirement.

Eat a high-fiber diet. Get insoluble and soluble fiber. Limit foods that are high in fat. Choose lean meats. Incorporate probiotics into your diet. Eat on schedule. Stay hydrated. Take tab brufen once for pain relief and revert.

Does sitting in a warm water tub cures hemorrhoids or it strengths the anal sphincter? cause i am suffering of anal leakage cause of weak anal sphincter and it remains lil open while I clean it so I feel dirty. So wanna permanent and quick solution of strengthening n tighten my anal sphincter.

Hi, sitting in warm water tub will increase the blood flow towards the pelvic area and thus helps to control piles and constipation. To strengthen the anal sphincter, perform pelvic floor exercises 2-3 times a day for 5-10 mins daily.

Hi, the solution to your problem mostly lies in your question itself. You seem to be overly stressed out because of long hours of work on your laptop on a day to day basis, and hence the headache. I would advise you to take regular breaks, relax yourself for sometime and then get back to your work. Remember that de-stressing yourself periodically is not only good for your health but also is essential for you to stay engaged with your work and enjoy the same. Make sure, you take care of your posture and the needful ergonomics while at work. Working on computers/ laptops et al for long hours exposes one to repeated stress related injuries (rsis) and consequently one may land up in headache as well. It is advisable that you get your eyes checked by an eye specialist for sometimes problems with vision lead to headaches too. Taking due care of diet and lifestyle including exercise/ yoga/ meditation on a daily basis shall go a long way in protecting your overall health and fitness levels. Hope this helps.

Firstly there's no lifelong cure for the common cold. Antibiotics are only effective against infections of throat and are of no use against cold viruses. Over-the-counter (otc) cold preparations won't cure a common cold or make it go away any sooner, and most have side effects. A saltwater gargle 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2tsp turmeric dissolved in a glass of warm water can temporarily relieve a sore or scratchy throat. To help relieve nasal congestion, try saline (pure salt water) nasal drops. If you have a throat infection, or a viral cold then I will prescribe appropriate meds based on your detailed assessment. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

The white sticky discharge you get even with slight excitement is nothing but a secretion of periurethral glands located in urethra. This is normal secretion of these glands which help in free passage of thick semen through urethra during ejaculation. This is excessive in your case. It will settle down itself once you get used to normal sexual life.

Dear , make sure you are not having your periods. Next you urgently need to get a urine examination and an ultrasound abdomen done. Red urine probably 8 dictates blood in the urine and can come from the urethra, urinary bladder and even the kidneys.

You have nothing to do, you are good. There is no way to increase platelets in dengue or normally except through donor/ blood. Dengue is a viral infection, caused by mosquito bites. Symptoms/ Signs of Dengue – for your knowledge 1. Abrupt onset of high fever; 2. Severe frontal headache; 3. Pain behind the eyes which worsens with eye movement; 4. Muscle and joint pains; 5. Hello lybrate-user have light veg food and luke warm water. If the temperature goes more than 100 better to consult any general physician immediately without ignoring for further investigations. Rx sudarshan vati 2_0_2 a/f with luke warm water for 4 days avipattikara churna 1/2_0_1/2tsp with luke warm water b/f for 3 days amritarista 3tsp _ 0_ 3tsp diluting with equal amount of luke warm water a/f for 5 days.

5 Really Simple Ways to Correct Your Sitting Posture

Does your work require you to sit for long hours? Following a bad sitting posture for a long time can cause a lot of health problems like depression, low energy levels, back or neck pain, fatigue, headache etc. But the good news is that you can correct these posture defects very easily by following a few simple tricks throughout the day. Here’s how.

1. Sit up straight
Sitting up straight is easy if you follow these simple rules.
a. Use an ergonomically designed chair made according to your height and weight as it will provide your body with the required support to sit straight. You can buy such a chair online from any leading furniture shopping website.
b. Ensure that your back remains aligned to the back of your chair to prevent slouching or leaning forward.
c. Try to keep your shoulders straight and squared, paired with an upright head and aligned neck, back, and heels, similar to your standing posture.

2. Ensure that your ears are in line with your shoulders
Use this small trick to maintain the correct posture throughout the day. Whenever you lean forward or backward too much, your ears won’t be in line with your shoulders and you will know that it’s a wrong posture.

3. Uncross your legs
The correct sitting posture requires you to keep your feet grounded. Be careful not to cross your legs and leave one of them hanging in front of you. If your feet find it difficult to reach the ground, you can use a footrest or a small stand for placing them.

4. Take the help of a lumbar support pillow
A lumbar support pillow is a cushion that has been designed to support your spine and help you maintain a straight sitting position. Every time you sit on the chair, the pillow ensures that you sit straight. You can roll up a thick towel and use it instead of a lumbar support pillow as well to get the same benefits.

5. Do some desk exercises at regular intervals
Exercising after sitting for long hours can help you to relax by loosening stiff muscles, besides having the added benefit of correcting your posture. Take small exercise breaks and try out the following workouts, while still sitting on your chair-
a. Maintain an upright position and raise your arms above your head, while ensuring that your elbows remain straight. Bend to your right first and then left, while keeping your fingers interlocked.
b. Extend your left leg forward, while remembering to keep your toes pointed towards the front. Change the position of your toes so that they point upward. Follow the same steps for 5 for times and then do the same with your right leg.

Maintaining a correct posture will not only keep you away from the health hazards of a bad posture, but will also enhance your appearance and increase your energy levels.
