Sir, My 3/4 hair is white graying condition, lot of hair fall per day like 10 15. I am very tension for my hair this problem generated last 2 year. For hair - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

Please do not use the words congestion heart ! you mean congestion in chest ! You are suffering from dust allergy. Inhale steam for few minutes every day. Stay away from dust. grow more indoor plants and deep breathe pure oxygen through them. You can take a tablet of Phenargan as anti allergic at bed time , side effect is sedation.

My father is suffering from arthritis for the last 4 years. And his health condition is weak. He is having swellings in his joints frequently. What all precaution do he must take to reduce the pain and swelling? which all are the food items that he should avoid eating? can this arthritis be cured completely?

It can relieved 60% .. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

Avoid excess of salt, oil etc. In your diet. Avoid any kind of fast food, cold drinks, alcohol. Concentrate more on fibrous diet as well as light food items. Include more of seasonal fruits & vegetables. Drink adequate amount of water will also help. Some pranayams like anulom vilom are good for you. What is Baker Cyst and its causes?
A baker cyst is a swelling in the space behind the knee. It is also known as popliteal cyst. It causes stiffness and knee pain. Baker Cyst is common nowadays and can be caused by virtually any cause of joint swelling. The pain caused by popliteal cyst is more worsens if the patients fully flexes or extends the knee or moves around .The excess joint fluid (synovial fluid) bulges to back of the knee to form the baker cyst. Ostearoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis associated with Baker’s Cyst. And Juvenile arthritis is one of another cause of baker cyst in children. Baker Cysts is more common in females of 40 plus age or above. Baker cysts also can result from cartilage tears which include torn meniscus, rehematoid arthritis and other knee problems.

What are the symptoms of Baker Cyst?
Joint locking, knee pain, swelling and calf pain are some of the symptoms of baker cyst. Swelling or lump behind the knee is more common symptom and this is more evident while standing or performing any activity of knee.

Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.
