I am 36yrs old I have a problem in my left kidney with a 6mm stone. How should I recover from this problem.
Tips for removing kidney stones:: 1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes...... Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. Pls send ur USG report becoz medication for stones depends upon size number and location of stones and can be given after USG.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Doctor I have been diagnosed with mild pcos Two months ago. We are trying for a baby since one year but all in vain. My doctor prescribed me normoz and fol123. I have no idea about whether I am ovulating or not. I have gone through follicular study also but that says egg is not rupturing good. Gone through hsg also and it was normal. Please tell when will I get pregnant.

Since you have pcod so it is possibility you might not be ovulating correctly, or the no or quality of egg produced might not be good. You can use ovulation kit to know that exact timing of ovulation, and try conceiving in that days for 2-3 months. Also start exercising daily and take diet rich in proteins, iron and vitamins. Quit coffee, canned and fried food. Still if you did not get positive result in 2-3 months then consult infertility specialist for help.

Stick to leaner proteins such as fish (which has a myriad of health benefits beyond just maintaining your hair), chicken, calf’s liver, brewer’s yeast, low-fat cheese, eggs, almonds, beans, and yogurt. Soy milk and tofu are also smart to add to your diet because they are high in protein and low in bad fats.

Hi, Follow the following medication and guidelines----Start the treatment with single dose of Tuberculinum 1M. After 1 week of this take the below:- * First week- you should take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *second week- take Thuja 1M, drops, single dose , morning empty stomach. *third week- Again take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *fourth week- take Thuja 1M, 5 drops , single dose, morning empty stomach. *Take Rite -hite tablets from SBL, 2-2 tabs , two times daily. *Bio combination no. 21, 4 -4 tabs daily , two times. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. Drink it every night before going to bed at least for 45 days to increase your height. * plenty of fluids, frequent smaller meals, yoga and exercise regime and adequate sleep is also important. Take a healthy and balanced diet. *Do yoga (especially TADASAN) and stretching exercises regularly. *Revert after 1 month.

It's due to nutritional deficiency or stress or some systemic illness or any other cause my suggestion is to take good nutritious food which is rich in vitamin e and c and stress free life and don't do daily shmpoo it's make hair thin and weak.

Smoking or consuming smokeless tobacco is very harmful for your teeth. It can lead to various oral diseases like oral cancer, gingivitis, periodontitis and tooth decay. 

My son who is 4 years old always suffers from pneumonia. We consulted many doctors but no one can treat him. Every doctor told us that he will become fit when he will be of 6 or 7 years old. Please tell if it is correct or what should we do. Or we should consult any other doctor.

Pneumonia is a consolidation patch seen and confirmed on an xray chest and has to be treated and if he is just suffering from wheezes in the chest very frequently than it is due to allergic bronchitis

Dear lybrate-user, as you said, you are weak, do some regular excercises in the early morning, take rest properly, avoid sleeping in day time, spend time with friends, nothing but weakness. You can have b-complex tablets twice a day.

I m losing hair quickly and I tried all samphoo but their is no result found. What should I do. please help me.
Home remedies for management of hairloss: -grind kallonji finely and add honey. Mix it well and apply in the bald area. Leave for 20minutes and then wash. Use thrice weekly for 2months. -warm a small amount of olive oil. Add 1tablespoon of cinnamon powder and 1tablespoon of honey. Mix it well and apply on the hair base. Leave for 20minutes and then wash. Use twice weekly for 2months to get results and see hairfall has decreased. -apply onion juice onto your scalp, massage, and leave it on for about 30 minutes to an hour. Repeat the process daily for 4 weeks. Oil- boil a handful of fresh curry leaves in 6-8 tablespoons of coconut oil until the leaves become black. Strain the oil. Apply this oil to your hair daily at night and massage your scalp only with fingers gently. Massage for about 15-20 minutes. Leave it overnight and wash off your hair the next morning. Use this oil for at least 3 months to get results. Diet- simply eat a teaspoon of black sesame seeds daily for at least three months. Boil the curry leaves in water and drink the hot beverage. Protein, vit d, vit a, vit e rich diet. Avoid too much fried, oily, greasy, spicy, and acidic foods. Avoid excessive intake of tea, coffee. Keep off stress by practicing regular meditation. Yogasanas- shavasana, vajrasana, pawanmuktasana. Pranayamas- kapalbhati, bhastrika, nadi-shodhan pranayama. Note- fix on a single herbal shampoo brand to wash your hair. Avoid constipation. Do not comb hairs at all when they are wet. Do not use colors/dyes/hair-styling agents.

Hi thanks for writing. According to your height your weight should be 70 kg you have to loss 40 kg weight only. Do not worry its not a big target you can easily loose this 40 kg weight. First we have to find our reason of your weight gain. There are so many reason for weight gain. You have to remember one thing avoid dieting for weight, cause dieting will help you loose some weight but after some period you will put on double weight. Tips for weight loss. 1. YOu have to avoid tension and keep a calm mind by meditation and yoga .Resting at night plays an important role in regulating your daily health and your level of energy throughout a day. Also, not only the quantity but the quality of sleep is also important for a healthy lifestyle. Bedtime habits do play a vital role in shaping up your lifestyle and personality as a whole. Here are many lifestyle habits that can help you to get sound sleep. 1. Make regular and a fixed sleep pattern: Going to sleep and waking up the same time every day helps to maintain an equilibrium in the sleep-wake cycle called diurnal rhythm. If this balance is maintained, then your body will be accustomed to this pattern and as a result, you will feel less tired and fresh throughout the day 2. Maintain a definite dietary regulation: You should also maintain a proper diet plan and observe the consequences/effects of the foods that you are eating and the fluids that you are drinking on your sleep pattern. Taking a good and properly nutritious diet on a daily basis will help you to stay healthy and help your natural sleep-wake cycle. 3. Ensure that your room has mild or dim lighting or darkness if you prefer: The level of light also matters at the time of your sleep. You should definitely make sure that there is a very minimal level of light or darkness around you when you try to sleep. This should be done because the lesser is the light, the more comfortable you are while sleeping. Additionally, the sleep that you will get in a dark room will also be sound and undistorted as it helps keep all the sensory organs calm. 4). Do some relaxing activities before bedtime: Depending on your choice, you should follow simple techniques of relaxation in order to calm down the brain before sleep. Like mediation, Yoga or- deep breathing exercise, muscle relaxing activity, visualizing a peaceful setting/ scenario like a calm garden or beach or mountain area. These activities are just guidelines and you can do anything that helps you to get a relaxing mood and sleep. 5). Avoid daytime naps if you can , But Having short naps of less than one hour is absolutely okay if you are excessively tired during the day or you did not have a sound sleep the previous night. But, if you are consistently having long naps during the day then you are bound to have sleep issues during the night. So it is advisable to sleep early and wake up early for a healthy schedule. 6) Regular exercise: Exercising regularly helps to improve the overall quality of sleep by making you tired at night and sending you to bed more efficiently. Light to mild exercises also helps cure sleep disorders like insomnia.
