Hye. In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: limit non-nutritious foods, such as: sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages cut down on high-fat foods by: choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken, fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet. Change your eating habits: eat three balanced meals a day to help control your hunger. Watch portion sizes and eat small servings of a variety of foods. Choose low-calorie snacks. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Eat slowly and try not to perform other tasks while eating. Find other activities to distract you from food, such as walking, taking up a hobby or being involved in the community. Include regular exercise in your daily routine. Curd or dahi, is a popular food item all over the country. In the north, people eat it with flattened rice or chapatis while in the south, people are great patrons of curd rice. Some sections of the society even consume curd for superstitious purposes. It is thought that consuming curd before embarking on a journey will ensure safety and good health. Made from milk, this dairy product has a lot of health benefits. Here are some reasons why you should add curd to your daily diet starting today.

1. Helps improve digestion
The nutrients present in curd are easily absorbed by your digestive system. Not only that, it also helps in absorbing nutrients from other food items that you have eaten. It can also be used along with spicy food, as curd cools down and neutralises the heat that these foods create. A Taiwanese study even found that curd is helpful in curing H. Pylori infections which is the most common type of stomach infection.

In a day and age where more and more young people are falling prey to heart disease, consuming curd can go a long way in maintaining heart health. It minimizes the risk of high blood pressure and helps reduce cholesterol levels by preventing the thickening of carotid arteries.

I am 35 years male, my BP is always between 150-157 by 103 -109 even I have given up intake of white salt from my food and use the rock salt (sandhaNamak, do not take Fast food still the Bp lay between the above number, I take hand full of sunflower seed and also Apple Cider vinegar but it remains the same, Kindly advice.

Try to restrict the intake of salt alongwith increased intake of fruits and vegetables and daily exercise for another couple of months. If these measures fail, then opt for medicines to keep it under control.

20-30 is considered normal, in fact upto 100 hair is taken normal. Dandruff can be controlled by ketoconazole shampoo, weekly thrice is recommended.

You maybe suffering from allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis. You need to avoid the cause of your allergies and also take anti allergy medications. Please consult for prescription. If you have an infection and have fever you will need to do a course of antibiotics. For now do warm saline gargle and steam inhalation 3 times a day. You will need a regular allergy treatment with nasal sprays.

Hello" thyroid problems" is rather unclear. Thyroid is the normal gland in us, it produced thyroxine hormone, essential for brain development and functioning. Plus essential for all metabolic activities of the body. There can be hypothyroidism, where deficiency of thyroxine occurs, leading to weight gain, swelling of face, legs, feet, intolerance to cold, slow heart rate, dry skin, dry hair and hair fall, menstrual irregularities, difficulty iin conception, improper fetal development, miscarriage, anxiety and depression. Similarly hyperthyroidism where there is excess of thyroid activity, leading to weight loss, rapid heart rate, protruding eyes, trembling feeling, palpitations, anxiety etc. Both these conditions are well controlled by appropriate treatment. Low iodine in water, and diet can lead to hypothyroidism. That is why iodinated salt has to be used. Still of late cases of hypothyroidism have increased a lot. Another disease is hashimoto's thyroiditis, which also causes hypothyroidism. These can be well controlled, but there is no cure. In case of hyperthyroidism some times thyroid gland is removed, then hypothyroidism develops. In any case treatment usually for lifetime.

Hello, try the following home remedy: BESAN: Mix 1 teaspoon of chickpea flour (chana ka atta) or gram flour (besan) with enough water to make a paste, and wash your face with this mixture. Follow with almond powder mask and a moisturizer. ALMOND POWDER: Mix almond powder with a little water, and apply the paste to your face.
