I am a 24 years old man. My wife is 21. During intercourse my wife is suffered from a lot of pain. I have sex with around 15 times, yet she feels a lot of pain. So she was unable to found orgasm. Please give me reason of this pain.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- due to lack of foreplay during the sex the vaginal lubrication of your wife (by internal secretions) is not occurring normally, thats why she feels pain during the sex. >pain sensation will nullify the pleasurable feeling of your partner during the sex and she will not achieve orgasm at all. 1) use artificial lubricating gel before sex. 2) do perform foreplay before indulging into the sex.

Hi Me and my boyfriend had dry sex around 20 days back. I was naked and he was in his under garments. He rubbed his penis on my vagina with underwear on. He did no ejaculate. But my vaginal fluid made his underwear a bit wet. Since that day I have been facing white discharge. It has reduced via meds but not stopped. Am I pregnant?

Gynaecologist, Jalandhar
Chances of pregnancy are not there but if you have missed the periods, simply get a pregnancy test done. Excessive vaginal discharge can be due to some infection also.

For whom do you want cream? If for your husband. And he is putting his penis in your vagina? Is it hard or non moved up lower his foreskin, at that time you are getting vaginal pain? If my doubt is correct & u satisfy, so both need to apply zylocaine jelly, five minutes before Intercourse.

3 Things You Need to Know about Post-Pregnancy Sex

3 Things You Need to Know about Post-Pregnancy Sex

Resuming sex post pregnancy can take some time as the woman has to go through the initial phase of vaginal soreness and perpetual exhaustion before she can think of having sex. Whether a woman gives birth vaginally or through cesarian section, her body will require time to heal itself; and it is advisable to resume the intercourse only six weeks after childbirth.

Here are some of the common sex problems post-pregnancy.

1) An eager partner - Your partner might be ready for sexual intercourse but you are not. Even if it is six weeks after giving birth, when the wound inside has mostly healed and perhaps you're not sore anymore, you still may not want to have sex. This is because the hormones in your body are drastically changing, and the uterus is gradually shrinking and your episiotomy wound is progressively healing. In such situations, one should take it slow. Cuddling, kissing and spooning are some of the ways closeness can be fostered.

2) Delicate and tender breasts - Breasts may become sore, heavy and leaky due to nursing your baby. And it is natural after breastfeeding the whole day, one may wat them to be left alone at night. Wearing a nursing top or a tank top during sex is advised. Nursing your baby right before sex can also help as your breasts won't be as full and achy.

3) Sex won't feel the same - It is natural that after delivering a baby, sex won't feel exactly the same. This is because the vaginal muscles would be temporarily stretched out. And there is a chance of temporary soreness and inflammation within the vagina. Kegel exercises may help to get back on track.

So, in case you're a woman and felt strange about not being up for sex post your pregnancy, there's absolutely nothing to be stressed about. And men, if you are reading this tip, your woman needs you to understand her even more after her becoming a mother; so, treat her with utmost care.

Insomnia - 5 Natural Cures!

Insomnia - 5 Natural Cures!

Insomnia is when an individual has difficulty either falling asleep or staying asleep. Most people with insomnia often experience a variety of symptoms such as mood disturbances, fatigue, low energy, difficulty concentrating etc. Insomnia can be characterized based on duration, i.e.: acute and chronic. When you can’t fall asleep before a big presentation or an exam, it is known as acute insomnia. Chronic insomnia is when you have trouble falling asleep for at least three nights a week for a duration of three months. Chronic insomnia disorders can have many causes. Changes in the environment, unhealthy sleep habits, certain clinical disorders and certain medications.

Here are some natural ways to overcome insomnia:

1. Take control of your stress:

The number one reason people have trouble sleeping is stress. When you are chronically stressed cortisol streams through your body making it difficult to sleep. Along with insomnia it can cause anxiety, mood swings, forgetfulness, weight gain etc. To control this, try relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation.

2. Snack wisely:

We are all told not to eat right before going to bed. However, most people cannot go to sleep when they are hungry. If you must eat close to your bedtime, try healthy snacks which contain a lot of healthy carbs and a little protein. Eating too much before going to bed can cause heartburn and indigestion which can hamper sleep.

 3. Sleep regular hours:

Try going to bed and waking up at the same time every day. An erratic sleep schedule can cause disturbances in sleep. However, some people who travel a lot and work in shifts may not be able to do this. In which case, try to follow the other remedies as much as possible.

4. Minimize the use of electronics:

Watching a movie or a tv show stimulates the mind leaves you unable to sleep. It takes the brain longer to calm down enough for you to go to sleep. The blue light emitted by your screen reduces the production of melatonin, which is the natural sleep hormone produced by your body. Try engaging in offline activities like reading a book or writing or drawing. All of these can relax you and help you fall asleep easier.

 5. Make your bedroom a cave:

As much as possible make your bedroom like a cave. Dark, quiet and cool. Light disturbs melatonin production. Keep away or turn off all electronic devices. It has been found that the perfect temperature for sleeping is 18.3 degrees. If you cannot make your room dark enough try using an eye-mask and earplugs to block out any disturbances.

7 Facts About Laser Hair Removal You Must Know

7 Facts About Laser Hair Removal You Must Know
7 things you need to know about Laser Hair Removal

For the past few years, laser hair removal has been the gold standard in de-fuzzifying beauty methods, with the potential to end a lifetime of annoying tweezing, waxing and shaving practices. But considering the cost and long-term commitment, it’s not an easy decision to make lightly. Keep the following tips in mind before buying your first laser hair removal deal.

1. Make sure you’re a good candidate
Chances are that if you’re reading this, you’re eligible to experience the wonder of laser hair removal; the technology has advanced over the years to treat more and more types of people. Those with light skin and dark hair have the best chances at success (the laser light picks up on the colour contrast in order to zap follicles), but some clinics use different systems that may have improved chances at treating darker skin tones or lighter hair colours. Check to see what your clinic uses if you’re concerned about your skin-hair combination not being ideal.
2. Know that not all lasers are created equal
You may think laser hair removal is basically the same no matter where you go, but there are at least five major technologies currently available: IPL, Alexandrite, Diode, Nd:YAG and Ruby. They each offer different pros and cons: (for example, IPL is very popular due to its versatility and lack of discomfort, but may not work as well for thicker hair). Again, what’ll work for you depends a lot on your particular skin and hair type.
3. Do a background check
Laser hair removal is a shade more complicated than your standard spa treatment, so youll want to make sure the person behind the handpiece is fully qualified. We try to give you as much info as possible on each offers page, so reading those sections on our site fully before clicking the buy button is a great start. It also doesn’t hurt to do a quick Google search, check the clinics website or simply call them up to learn more about the operator’s education and experience.
4. Shave, but don’t wax, before your first visit
In the weeks leading up to your first treatment, nix all forms of hair removal that require pulling out the root, including waxing, tweezing and epilating. Switch to razors about four to six weeks in advance - some clinics will require that you shave right before treatment, while some others request that you have a bit of stubble (maybe up to three days worth) in order for the light technology to pick up on the strands. Make sure to consult your clinic to see what prep work they will want you to do.
5. Avoid the sun
Since skin colour has a big impact on how effective the laser treatment can be, getting a golden tan right before your visit is clearly a bad idea; the closer the skin colour is to the hair, the less likely the laser can differentiate between the two. Most docs recommend completely protecting the area from sunlight 72 hours in advance, or more if possible. The area will be sensitive afterward as well, and it’s often recommended to stay out of the sun or wear sunblock for up to a month or two after treatment.
6. Expect a small amount of irritation
Having powerful lasers aimed at your body sounds like it could be rough, but thankfully its usually not. People often describe the sensation as feeling like a rubber band popping at your skin, and machines that use a cooling handpiece tend to mitigate discomfort overall. Basically, if you can handle waxing, you should be more than able to handle laser hair removal. Afterwards, it’s fairly standard for the area to be red, but this should subside after a few hours or a day.
7. The results won’t be instant
Shaving and waxing are quick, temporary fixes, but laser hair removal requires you to play the long game. Hair wont disappear instantly after the first treatment; it gradually falls out in the preceding weeks, and requires roughly four to 10 visits to be fully eradicated. Additionally, visits have to be scheduled about four to eight weeks apart for your safety, and the number of visits may depend on your own skin type and hair growth. But if you’re willing to be patient and stick with it, youll wind up with long-lasting, potentially permanent results.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS

If this is happening for the first time then ultrasound will be required to find the cause. Any psychosocial disturbance can delay cycles. Change of place, work, climate, exam stress, heavy physical activity can all cause delay. Thyroid and prolactin tests may be useful.

I am 34 years female. I have been married for 16 years. In these years I had 2 miscarriages one in 1999 and another in 2008. I have finished with all my treatments and the reports are normal. I have also done the treatment for blockage of tubes. And it is also normal. But I do not understand y I am not conceiving. My husbands sperm count is 20 million. Please help.

MBBS, DGO, MD, Fellowship in Gynae Oncology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
First thing is, your husband's sperm count is little low. Secondly your age, at this age generally the quantity and quality of egg reduces. Is you are not producing good quality eggs, then it is also a reason you why you are not able to conceiving. Also you had miscarriage twice, so there may be lack of hormonal support or infection or tb etc. So get an hysteroscopy done to rule out pathology of uterus, and amh done. To see no of eggs left in you. And get with reports so that can help you.

U can try using a lubricant like vaseline or some coconut oil. Still working if problem persists, it might be dyspaurenia due to vaginitis (vaginal infection).
