SLEEP Please tell me from how many days you are having this problem. First of all I am giving you general guidance. Daily morning Brisk walk 30 minutes, Don't take a nap in afternoon, Bath with a luke warm water half hour prior to sleep. Go to bed when you feel maximum sleeping. Use these measures first. If your symptoms still persist take tablet clonazep 0.25 mg half hour before sleep but for not more than 5 days

Dear Lybrate User, *Firstly you take your food with 2 to 3 hr intervals, devided into 3 main meals and 3 small meals. Main meals should consist of 1/4 portion of protein and 1/4 portion of carbohydrates and 2 portion of vegetables more or less at the same time of the day to make your biological clock perfect. Avoid high calorie food such as fried things, mango, banana, sapota, juices, sweets. Secondly do regular exercise, yoga or walk. Thirdly always take your medicine in time as advised by your doctor. Keep your self hydrated and take enough sleep.

Tension Type Headache

Pain onset in tension-type headache can have a throbbing quality and is usually more gradual than onset in migraines. Compared with migraines, tension-type headaches are more variable in duration, more constant in quality, and less severe.

For tension-type headaches two of the following characteristics must be present:

Pressing or tightening (nonpulsatile quality)
Frontal-occipital location
Bilateral - Mild/moderate intensity
Not aggravated by physical activity
Tension-type headache history is as follows:
Duration of 30 minutes to 7 days
No nausea or vomiting (anorexia may occur)
Photophobia and/or phonophobia
Minimum of 10 previous headache episodes; fewer than 180 days per year with headache to be considered "infrequent"
Bilateral and occipitonuchal or bifrontal pain
Pain described as "fullness, tightness/squeezing, pressure" or "bandlike/viselike"
May occur acutely under emotional distress or intense worry
Often present upon rising or shortly thereafter
Muscular tightness or stiffness in neck, occipital, and frontal regions
Duration of more than 5 years in 75% of patients with chronic headaches
Difficulty concentrating
No prodrome
New headache onset in elderly patients should suggest etiologies other than tension headache.

CONSTIPATION:is due to an incorrect lifestyle and irregular eating patterns, not taking enough fluids,sedentary lifestyle.Foods that are heavy and difficult to digest, as well as oily, spicy, fried, and junk foods are the culprits. Eating food in a disturbed atmosphere or in front of the television and being awake late at night all lead to bowel disturbance. Psychological factors like stress, anxiety, fear, jealousy, and sorrow also play an important role. DIET & LIFESTYLE ADVICE: Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables. An Apple or Pineapple/Pomegranate each day is helpful.  Drink 7-8 glasses of lukewarm water each day. Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each. Eat whole grains /nuts/sprouts and Muesli in breakfast Avoid removing bran from the flour because it clears the intestines  Avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice,or high protein foods like cheese,meat and cold foods like ice cream or chilled drinks  Take meals in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. You need to comb with the special lice comb after taking a head bath with any lice shampoo. Comb in wet hair. You will have to follow this routine for three consecutive days.

This may be due to viral infection or viral fever do warm saline gargle regularly. Have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection.

After a heart attack in May I was prescribed, amongst other things, 40 mgs of atorvastatin daily as a precaution. My consultant cut it down to 20mgs in September as cholesterol levels seemed fine and I have no further appointments to see the consultant. Latest blood test showed my cholesterol.

Please control cholesterol by diet only. Avoid statins because of long term side effects. Lemon juice and apple cider vinegar does bring down cholesterol. But you seem to be having near normal levels. Don't cut down good fats like a spoon of desi ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts. We do require good fats like a car requires good oil for machinery to run smoothly.

Yes, you have to regularize cycle by taking drugs and normalizing hormones. Dermoid cyst is a separate issue- the treatment depends on the size.

Take homoeopathic medicine Nux vomica 1M 4Pills 4Times 4days n give 1 week gap again repeat 4days,take lots of water..try to avoid to much spicy food n nonveg.. i doubt if ll get this medicine in bijapur as there's no homoeopathic pharmacy... if u don't get apply xylocaine gel for 4days morning n night n use sitz bath : take a tub of water[warm or cold as u prefer] add dettol to it n sit in it for 20 mins u ll surely feel better...
