I am 34 year old health female with on and off acidity issue which is currently in control. I have on going pain in my right leg (in all joints i. E pelvic, knee, ankle, hip) it is a shifting pain. Im taking kineto dp twice daily. Please recommend what should be done thanks.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. Pl give feedback after 5 days.

I am 60 yr male and suffer from hyperacidity I am diagnosed hbsag positive for several years efficiency level has gone very low. Is there any treatment?

There is treatment for hepatitis b if it is causing active hepatitis which can be confirmed only after further testing. Just hbsag positive is not enough. It can mean simple carrier state also in which it is harmless to the patient but can spread to others.

Here are some home remedies to cure acidity.  - Skip the aerated drinks as well as the caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead.  - Have a glass of lukewarm water everyday.  - Include banana, watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Watermelon juice is great for curing acidity.  - Nariyal paani is known to soothe the system if you suffer from acidity.  - Drink a glass of milk - everyday.  - Have your last meal at least two to three hours before you hit the sack.  - Keeping long intervals between meals is another cause for acidity. Have small but regular meals.  - Try to avoid pickles, spicy chutneys, vinegar, etc.  - Boil some mint leaves in water and have a glass of this after meals.

Hi sir . I have acidity problem since several days I am suffering a lot I have consult a doctor n take medicines. Am suffering from all this things ie. Heart burning, burning sensation abdomen, palpitation, chest pain is rotating around n back side also not constantly one place n not regularly oftenly showing this all n I was scared n I have taken ECG report n shown to the doctor report was very good. doctor given to medicine rabeprazole&domperidone n megaldrate&symthicone syrup n I was used one month n again repeated my problem Am psychologically suffered a lot pls help me.

Good to know that ecg report is normal, and you get relief with basic medicines for acidity. There's something wrong with your food and eating habits, take less oily and spices and more of seasonal vegetables and fruits plus eating according to constitution. Take more proteins like milk and curds. All of these items are available in your market. Eat regularly, milk and bananas or with curds is natural anti acidity food which is nourishing food also. Do take medicines if required. Eat regularly, do exercise to digest the food and drink lots of water preferably with honey at least once a day. Do get back with progress report.

I was a smoker for more than 30 years & gave up smoking 08 months back. After giving up smoking my body has got bloated up with a lot of weight gain. There is a lot of gas formation & I keep belching through out the day. My stomach also tightens up and gives a very uncomfortable feeling. Please advise

Modify your life style to reduce stress, reduce intake of coffee and tea, stop alcohol. Take Tab Pantocid regularly once a day for 15 days. If it still does not go away get an upper G I Endoscopy done. Weight can be reduced by a regular exercise (walking for an hour every day) and cutting down on sugar, carbohydrates, like cereals and potatoes and increase in salads and fruits.

To get relief from gas problem and to improve digestion power you can follow these methods: • Take one teaspoon of ajwain seeds (carom) and 1/2 teaspoon of jeera grind it and make powder of it add 1/3 rd of teaspoon of this in your food you eat. • Take pudina (mint) and coriander leaves grind it and eat one teaspoon of it daily 2 times in a day. You can make chutney of it. Mint and corriander has enzymes that improve your digestion. • Do running and jogging exercise daily. Do pavanmuktasan daily for 5 minutes under the supervision of yoga expert. • Eat healthy food and avoid fast food, spicy food, excessive consumption of tea, coffee and alcohol.

1. Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato, cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2. Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3. Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat. Limit fluid intake during meal4. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having,6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days. 8. Consult Gastroenterologist for further advice.

My mother have a big prickly heat near the anus part. We have consulted doctor and he prescribed magnesium sulphate paste bp medicine. She has been applying it over the the infected area for three days. No changes happened enough. She is a diabetic also. please help.

U need to stop eating spicy and oily food. It causes more acid production. Also avoid taking stress. Remember 3 causes of acidity. Hurry, worry & curry avoid taking heavy meals. Instead prefer small frequent meals. Still jo relief you need to start taking medication for controlling acidity and protecting stomach from further acid related injuries. All the best. Take care.

Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

I am 35 m. I am suffering from food poisoning. My stool consistency has changed from 2 months. Lots of weakness. Can't tolerate oily food. Spicy food. Anything I eat gets digested too fast. Muscle pain. Weight lost 6 to 8 kg. No loose stools. But consistency changed. I am becoming thin. I think I am food poisoned on regular basis. Can't help to help out which food is poisoned. Also I have to depend on others for my dinner lunch. Any antidote? Any stool or diagnostic tests for poisoning. Diet help needed. Pls guide me.

Some things you should know oily food & cold drinks can trigger gas problems & discomfort. More gas formation is due to improper digestion. Take 2 spoons ghee before meal 2 times use butter milk in meal do pavanmuktasan daily empty stomach & vajrasan after meal. To improve digestive system not get relief in 3 to 8 days.

Sir. Earlier I was diagnosed with fatty liver Grade 1. My LFT during Ramzan fasting was Bilirubin 0.8 Ast 75 Alt 86. Urea 30 and creatinine 1.3 after Ramzan Bilirubin 1.2 Ast 39 Alt 41 Urea 32 and creatinine 1.3 Is there any issues on result ?

To treat the fatty liver - •Take 1/2 teaspoon of AMLA POWDER (CHURN) with a glass of water in morning. • Avoid alcohol or do not drink too much amount of alcohol. Avoid tobacco smoking & chewing. • Control your weight don't be overweight . Maintain your weight by doing exercise daily such as running , jogging ,walking . • Avoid fast food, cold drinks , chicken & fish. As these food increase load on liver. • Eat healthy & balanced diet .Green leafy vegetables, seasonal fruits, high fiber foods . Eat less or minimum amount of foods containing fat such as butter , ghee, cream. Maintain your cholesterol level in normal range. • Do not take higher amount of drugs such as pain killer, antidepressants ,steroids. As these medicines cause very harmful effect on liver. • Prevent yourself from infection. Always wash your hands with soap before eating food. • Avoid use of other person's razor for shave . • Take 1 tea spoon of LIV-52 syrup of HIMALAYA company in the evening.
