Hi I am facing too much stomach pain due to stone problem. Please tell me what should I do for getting overcome this ...
1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. Pls send your usg report becoz medication for stones depends upon size number and location of stones and can be given after usg.

I have 21 mm stone in my right kidney so what can I do and what is the total cost of the treatment.

I have 21 mm stone in my right kidney so what can I do and what is the total cost of the treatment.
In your case pcnl (per cutaneous nephrolithotomy) will be the best option. In this we make a hope in the back and go to the kidney and break Stone and remove all fragments. Although there are various other option like eswl, rirs which I think will not be suitable for you. Proper work up is required before any procedure. Cost of treatment depends on City and type of the hospital.

Hi Kindly explain me d causes symptoms n treatment of kidney failure as I am a diabetic n under insulin control.
There won't be any symptoms till the last stage of kidney failure. Please don't depend upon symptoms to detect kidney failure in early stages. You must get urine protein levels and blood creatinine levels at least once a year and show to your doctor.

Dear lybrateuser, - Try & reduce your intake of water by 1-2 litres & see if frequency of urination decreases - also get a urine RE/ ME done to rule out any urinary tract infection.
