My wisdom tooth is growing please suggest me some medicines i have sevier pain.

BDS
Dentist,
Have you taken an x-ray of the wisdom tooth ie erupting. If not, kindly take it and consult with a dentist as he or she might be able to tell u whether it is erupting in the right way because wisdom tooth generally erupts in different patterns and gives trouble. Till the time you can do warm saline gargles as this will keep the area clean by removing any food lodgement in that space and can take paracetamol or crocin for mild pain.

For healthier teeth, flossing daily in a sawing motion is highly recommended. Take the floss to the point where the teeth meet the gums.

I have chronic problem with mouth ulcers. What can i do?

BDS
Dentist,
There are so many causes of mouth ulcers like- -stress or tissue injury is thought to be the cause of simple mouth ulcers. -certain foods, including citrus or acidic fruits and vegetables (such as lemons, oranges, pineapples, apples, figs, tomatoes and strawberries), can trigger a mouth ulcer. -sometimes a sharp tooth surface also trigger mouth ulcers. -some cases of complex mouth ulcers are caused by an underlying health condition, such as an impaired immune system; nutritional problems, such as vitamin b-12, zinc, folic acid, or iron deficiency and gastrointestinal tract disease, such as coeliac disease and crohn's disease. -when you first quit smoking, you may develop more mouth ulcers than normal, but this is temporary. Usually ulcer heals by itself only within 1 week. You can take'becosule capsule' once in a day for 1 week for faster recovery. Temporarily you can apply mucopain gel over ulcer for relief.

Tooth reshaping removes parts of the enamel to improve the appearance of the tooth. It may be used to correct a small chip, or to alter the length, shape or position of teeth, as well as when there is tooth size discrepancy;. it can be used to correct crooked or excessively long teeth. The removed enamel is irreplaceable, and may sometimes expose dentin. It is also known as enameloplasty, odontoplasty, contouring, recontouring, slenderizing, stripping. This procedure offers fast results and can even be a substitute for braces under certain circumstances.

My right ear is paining very much with inside of my mouth spot of same side. Please help.
We need more investigations (full mouth x-ray) & clinical examination to decide upon treatment. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Consequences of Unreplaced Missing Teeth

Consequences of Unreplaced Missing Teeth

Our teeth are most definitely, vital for our living. Our everyday choices, pertaining to our lifestyle would call for changes, adjustments and lots of sacrifices without them. Though, a number of replacement options are available for the people with missing teeth, the most recommended are dental implants. Ask why?

They are simply the ideal solution due to their look and feel, which is similar to the natural teeth.

What happens if replacement is not considered?
To prevent the nasty repercussions from occurring, it is necessary that any missing teeth are replaced in time. Though, the symptoms of problems due to missing teeth only appear to be superficial in the early stages, the long term effects may certainly prove to be quite severe.

Some of the short term consequences of missing teeth are as follows:

  1. People with missing teeth tend to feel self-conscious or even embarrassed at times, while they talk to others or smile.
  2. Problem in speech is a common issue that may arise due to tooth loss.
  3. When teeth are missing, people find it difficult to consume some certain food types. These may include ones which contain some essential nutrients, hence leading to possible malnutrition.
  4. Increased wear or stress can also lead to the weakening of the teeth that are remaining.
  5. People with tooth loss find it difficult to chew the food properly.
  6. When teeth are missing, there is movement of the teeth that remain, to compensate for the gap places created. This leads to ugly looking gap teeth.

Though, these were the short term issues, the major consequence of not getting any lost teeth replaced is the gradual bone loss. Our teeth are firmly embedded in the jaw bone. Chewing and biting are the constant uses, which are required by the jaw bone to remain hale and hearty as well as active. You may believe it or not, be it at the beginning or at the end; the major focus is not on the teeth, but on the bones.

Maintaining form as well as density of the bone requires regular stimulation, coming from the teeth, as mentioned above. The contact with teeth causes small stresses, which the periodontal ligament transmits to the bone and prompts its continual rebuilding as well as remodelling. When any missing teeth are not replaced, it leads to the gradual deterioration in the jaw bones, over time. This not only results in facial shape changes but also will eventually burn a huge hole in your pockets, as increased complications will also lead to increased costs required for rectifying the problems.

So, now it's up to you. Choose healthy and wise. Go for teeth replacement at the earliest, if and when, need arises.

I have problem of halitosis from previous 5 years, I clean my teeth and tongue well everyday, but problem is not solv...
Hello, Halitosis, colloquially called bad breath, or fetor oris, is a symptom in which a noticeably unpleasant odor is present on the exhaled breath. Of those who have genuine halitosis, often the odor is caused by bacteria present below the gumline and on the back of the tongue. The remaining 10% is accounted for by many different conditions, including disorders in the nasal cavity, sinuses, throat, lungs, esophagus, stomach or elsewhere. Very rarely, halitosis can be one of many symptoms of a serious underlying medical condition such as liver failure; but, in the vast majority of cases, the cause is minor and can often be reduced by adjustments to oral hygiene, including brushing or gently scraping the back of the tongue and improving the health of the gums by using dental floss. The intensity of bad breath may differ during the day, due to eating certain foods (such as garlic, onions, meat, fish, and cheese), smoking,[12] and alcohol consumption. Since the mouth is exposed to less oxygen[medical citation needed] and is inactive during the night, the odor is usually worse upon awakening ("morning breath"). Bad breath may be transient, often disappearing following eating, drinking, tooth brushing, flossing, or rinsing with specialized mouthwash. Use SBL’s Homeodent toothpaste twice (morning & night) a day daily.

You are suffering from hyper acidity and poor digestion. Try to stop alcohol and go for antacid tablets and maintain proper oral hygiene after getting your teeth clean and polished. Use antiseptic oral mouth wash regularly after every meal.

I am having cavity problem so is it necessary to do RCT if pain is not happen. Please advice me.

BDS
Dentist, Raipur
kindly get the cavity filled before it becomes deep and painful. avoid having sticky food and sweets before going to bed. brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique to maintain your oral hygiene. If the cavity is deep and not painful then kindly get an x-ray done of the tooth. may be you will have to get root canal treatment done if the caries is close to pulp but if it is not then you will just require filling.
