Dear lybrate user, red eyes could be because of many reasons but commonly it is due to allergy or infection. You need to visit eye specialist to differentiate between the two as the treatment is different. Also get your eyes checked for any glass power.

Please donot worry no it's not a eye infection, just get your retina examined with an ophthalmologist and if it's normal than try to ignore them sometimes floaters can occur without any reason.

This condition is called Eye strain, or asthenopia,in which the eyes get tired from excessive or intense use. It can be annoying, but it tends to disappear with rest. Although it’s not often a serious condition, eye strain could be a symptom of an underlying problem. Eye strain is known to cause fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and headaches Eye strain may lead to other problems, such as: • Headaches • Difficulty Concentrating • Irritability • Burning Sensation • Watery Eyes • Dry Eyes • Photophobia • Eye Pain If you work on a computer, taking eye breaks for five minutes every hour can lessen the strain on your eyes. Simply closing your eyes for a few moments can also do wonders. Try standing up, moving around, or taking a short walk to help regain concentration.Regular eye exercises that involve focusing on different distances can help prevent future straining. Blink often. Blinking refreshes and replenishes your eyes naturally. If you are having trouble with blinking due to the dryness of your eyes, try using Homoeopathic CINELUBE EYEDROPS ( HAPDCO) 3 times daily.

Hello There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 23 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

For some days I have a pain in the eyes and it became reddish I am having a bad problem of the red eyes. Please make ...
Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic. (4) raised intraocular pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. (6) increased blood pressure. This has known to cause redness which is also known as sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. In this regard, a complete ophthalmic evaluation and a systemic evaluation is warranted. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. You could also use a lubricant eye drop along with an anti-histamine eye drop. (3-4 times daily) hope my suggestions helped you. Take care.

Daily morning I have facing headache. And eyes getting become red colour please give solution.
Early morning headache can be due to 1. Migraine headache 2. Tension type 3. Cluster headache 4. Sleep apnea 5. Severe hypertension 6. Brain tumor. You could be suffering from cluster headache as you have redness of eyes with headache. Characteristics of cluster headache are: 1. Severe unilateral headache around the eyes. 2. Headache lasts for 15 to 180 minutes. 3. There is redness or watering of eyes/ nose, eyelid swelling, severe restlessness or agitation. 4 headache can occur once every alternate day to 8 per day. This is just a brief outline. In such headache conventional painkillers are not generally effective and specific medicines are to be taken to prevent headache. Most patients get relief by taking oxygen inhalation. Get mri scan of brain done, get a health check up done, consult a pain specialist. Get treatment according to cause of your headache.

Get schirmer test and but done. If these are normal take fresh fruits lot of water and anti oxidants. Don't put so much of pseudo tears. Preservative in the drops will further aggravate.

Hello Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop. I am unable to comment on cause of pain in left breast. You can consult local gynaecologist and get your breasts examined.

Am a 27 years old male suffering from redness in my eyes with little pain and blurred vision for the last three years. It stays for 2-3 days and recurred within 15 days or a month. The doctor gave me two eye drops - Winolap and Tearplus. After using prescribed eye drops, I got relief but it recurred within a month. Working on computer, watching TV makes the problem worse. I consulted another doctor who recommended Lotepred eye drop and Lacryl eye gel. Why am I suffering from persistent redness in the eyes?

Hi. I have a few suggestions for you regarding the usage of computers, mobile phones and books. Follow the rule of" 20" this means that every 20 minutes, take a gap of 20 seconds, blink your eyes actively 20 times and focus at an object which is minimum 20 feet away. This will help in relieving your eyes from the continuous strain that is caused due to staring. Staring at the computer continuously causes us to subconsciously blink less than normal. This causes the tear film on the surface of the eye to dry up. The result of this is pain, discomfort, etc. Another suggestions regarding the usage of computers is to maintain a proper posture. The computer must be positioned at the same height as your eye level. The neck should not be inadvertently flexed or extended. Roughly, an angle of 90 degrees should be maintained between your upper body and thighs. Likewise, a similar angle (90 degrees) should be maintained between your lower legs and thighs. Also the angle between your hands and arms should be roughly 90 degrees. This is the healthy ergonomic way of sitting while using a computer. Maintenance of proper posture would help in further relieving the symptoms of eye discomfort and pain. All these suggestions may take a while to sink in and imbibe in your routine. Once followed, they are sure to work wonders for you. Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene.
