I had unprotected sex on 30th of September, we dint have a hard core sex, last periods in had got on 2nd September, till now I haven't got my periods. I checked via prega news kit, results came negative, and even my periods are never on time since years, there is at least a delay of 7-8 days each time, there have been a delay of 1 month also before many times. So should I be relaxed now?

Hello lybrate-user if the test is negative then it's okay but you should investigate why the cycle is irregular n if there is thyroid or pcod. So thoroughly investigate the underlying cause n get cured.

Hello Lybrate user, I would suggest you to follow a diet rich in fibre (oats, dalia, multigrain bread, fruits, salad, vegetables) and along with this take proteins (1 gm per kg body weight per day) and drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day digest protein and fibre. Also I would want you to avoid fried, saturated fats, junk foods and also limit the intake of salt and along with this try to avoid salt after 7 pm in the eve, you can have a glass of hot milk before you go to sleep will help increase your metabolism and help you in weight loss. Hello, I recommend that you get yourself checked for varicoceles, hydroceles, and some testicular infections to find the cause of the problem. Take a healthy diet till then. Increase your fruits and vegetables intake and drink 4-5 litres of water everyday. Also take vitamin C supplement for 15-20 days. In addition, If you are tested positive for varicocele, you can take Horse chestnut and butcher's broom complex by HealthAid available on amazon.in Wish you good health.

Dear patient, 1.I suggest you some natural antioxidant with Vitamin C combined diet like. Green tea with lemon juice, Sprouts with slice of ginger and lemon, Lemon juice with lukewarm water that will help you weight reduction and protection from skin damage. 2. But green tea and lemon water not to take at empty stomach. 3.Avoid oily food, spicy foods, jam jelly, ghee, honey, salt, sweets, fried foods, junk foods. 4.Green vegetables, fresh fruits, Skin less fish, chicken add in your diet chart. 5.Do not be at fasting more than 3 hours 6.take low amount of food at regular interval. 7.Do brisk walk for 45 min in a day at any time. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules.
