How do I control my blood pressure which rises all of sudden when things goes wrong?

Clinical Cardiology, MD - Consultant Physician

How do I control my blood pressure which rises all of sudden when things goes wrong?
Hi. Blood pressure does not remain constant all the times. It changes as per your bodies requirement. So when you are anxious, angry of worried, your body shows response by increasing your heart rate and bp. This is an absolutely proper response. Bp problem is when your bp remains high even if you are calm and sitting resting. Take care.

Hi , thank you for your question . HDL or high density lipoprotein is a complex of protein and lipids . It is involved in the transport of excess cholesterol in cells in the periphery to the liver which is ultimately excreted from the body. Having higher HDL levels , is beneficial for cardiovascular health that is in simple words ,it is beneficial for heart and vessels. Blood clot dissolving drugs commonly in use are streptokinase , urokinase , tissue plasminogen activator. Addition of L-lysine to iron supplementation resulted in a significant increase in serum ferritin concentration in some women with chronic hair loss (telogen effluvium) who failed to respond to iron supplementation alone.Other than anemia, low ferritin may also indicate hypothyroidism, vitamin C deficient Chronic intestinal bleeding in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) may exceed the amount of iron that can be absorbed from the diet, resulting in a negative iron balance . So also have to check thyroid levels and take all vitamins along with iron

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The tablet mentioned is good enough for controlling blood glucose. It has to be taken regularly. Along with that one has to adhere to strict diet, avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries and bakery items plus foods made from maida. Also exercise daily for over 1 hour. You should maintain following target levels: Fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Thanks.

I want know bp is related to heart if yes what is normal bp or which sacle is dangerous?
BP is due to the loss of elasticity of the arteries supplying the heart. In some cases it may also be due to sympathetic over activity. The ideal BP is 120/80.

Love Your Heart - 15 Ways You Can Keep it Healthy

Love Your Heart - 15 Ways You Can Keep it Healthy

Let's understand the function of our heart and how to keep it healthy! Our heart is a muscular organ, located just behind and slightly left of the breast bone. It pumps blood through the network of arteries and veins called the cardiovascular system.

The heart has four chambers:

  1. The right atrium receives blood from the veins and pumps it to the right ventricle.
  2. The right ventricle receives blood from the right atrium and pumps it to the lungs, where it is loaded with oxygen.
  3. The left atrium receives oxygenated blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle.
  4. The left ventricle (the strongest chamber) pumps oxygen rich blood to the rest of the body. The left ventricle’s vigorous contractions create our blood pressure. The foods you eat, the amount of activity you do as well as your lifestyle can dramatically affect the overall health of your heart along with many other tissues that make up your cardiovascular system. Unhealthy eating habits can lead to various Heart Disorders.

Let’s look at the ways to keep it healthy!
