Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Since you have already consulted many doctors, I need certain information from you to be able to advise on what will the best management for her: - detailed neurological charting of lower limbs including motor, sensory and evaluation of deep tendon reflexes - mri of involved region of spine - dynamic x rays (flexion & extension views) to look for instability in spine. If you can furnish this information and her brief clinical history including duration of pain and neurological involvement or not, I should be able to advise you for her. Hello, take Gelsemium 30, 3 drops once daily. Hypericum 1x, 2 tab with warm water twice daily. Apply topi Arnica on the painful area of the neck. Revert me after 1 week.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contacts your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it doe s not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

1 practice all possible movements of your hand by placing your hand under warm water daily. 2 don't look for perfection in using small items with your hand like pen. 3 grossly you try to complete the activity like writing legibly. 4 then you can try modification when your joints ease with your exercise. 5 use less pressure at your fingers. 6 use items with more grooves for griping.

Hello, Recently on last friday, my friend had ankle twist while stepping down from two wheeler. She had severe pain for which she took pain killer and applied iodex and covered it with crepe bandage and I also suggested her for ice massage and elevation and rest. Still after 5 days, she is having swelling and severe pain. Please advise what to do for faster recovery. Thanks.

it would be more likely due to ligament sprain. If the pain worsens or swelling worsens it would be better to get an xray to rule out hairline fractures. Ice, elevation usually helps for soft tissue injuries

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Do share investigation reports if you have any.

Kindly show me photograph& the x rays of the affected part.(knee) rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. Get your vitamin d levels fasting and revert back, it may be low, also learn spinal extension exercises from a physiotherapist and do them 20 mins 3 times a day. Avoid prolonged sitting, forward bending and weight lifting.

Beetroot juice to stop hair fall This is the finest kitchen remedy to stop hair loss and promotes hair regrowth. Beetroot is rich in phosphorous, calcium, protein, potassium, carbohydrates, vitamin B and C. These are very essential nutrients for hair growth. Drink beetroot juice daily or include it in your regular diet for fast and healthy hair growth. Alternatively you can also use beetroot leaves to your scalp and hairs. Boil the beetroot leaves in water and make a paste. Apply this thick paste to scalp and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with water. Follow this procedure at least twice in a week for better hair growth and quick results. Coconut milk for hair regrowth Coconut milk consists of fats and proteins. It promotes hair regrowth and controls hair loss. For quick results apply the coconut milk to the scalp and hairs. Grate the coconut and grind it in a mixer.
