BHMS
Homeopath, Thane
Hi, acne leave black spots and scars on face. So you must first get rid of pimples. Bcoz if you treat pimples then only black spots can be treated. Don, t use any creams, as they bring more oilyness to the skin. Take tablet pimplex (sbl) 4tabs to be chewed 2times a day 1/2an hour before meals for 1mth for black spots take berberis aquifolium q 10drops in 1/4th cup of water, drink twice a day for1mth. Report avoid eating very spicy and oily food, junkfood.

I am suffering from anal itching from past 5 years, the itching went off every time I take the worming medicine but from past 2 times the deworming medicine is also not helping, what I have noticed is the itching comes in the interval of every 3-4 months and went of at its own from past 2 times. My doctor have suggested to do allergic test also which shows negative report. 3 years before I have undergone gall bladder removal through laparoscopy surgery. Pls help.

Diploma in Anesthesia, MBBS
General Physician, Hyderabad
that means you are getting reinfected after your deworming. so avoid taking contaminated food i.e., avoid out side food, follow proper hygiene of hand wash with soap water before eating any thing. wash the vigelables and greenleafy veg thoroughly with water, because that is the big source of contamination. do not take water in hotels etc., if at all take bottled water. follow these simple precautions your reinfection can be stopped

I have yellow skin (xanthamos) on one eyelid approx 10 to 13 mm in length and another eyelid it has just started to begin. In past couple of years my hdl ldl trig was on border line or slight higher, but now it's on control hdl 50 ldl 135 and trig 165 due to life style changes. Parents have same eyelid symptoms but cholesterol are well in good numbers. How to get rid of this yellow awkward skin? And any prevention for future?

Dermatologist, Ahmedabad
Hi lybrate-user, What you have is known as Xanthelesma and it can be removed by various methods like ablative radiofrequency, phenol ablation, or simple excision. This is an OPD procedure and usually takes about 20-30 minutes. However, there is some chance of a recurrence, but in case it recurrs, it can be treated again.

I have problem related to hairfall.daily lots of hairfall occur after bathing.tell me solution

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!). Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Sir my hair falling in last one month is started with large amount. I got tension about hair falling. Please suggest me its treatment as well as main reason behind it for falling of hair.

Simple carbohydrates that have high amount of sugar and less fiber and nutrients like cakes, biscuits and white flour often redirect the nutrients consumed through other sources to the process of digestion of their own. They could indirectly lead to hair loss since sugar is known for slowing down the ability of the body to handle stress – and stress is a major factor for hair fall. Eating complex carbohydrates and fibrous food like wholemeal flour, bananas and beans, on the other hand, help digestion and body’s ability to carry nutrients to blood stream and effectively, to hair follicles.

BHMS

Hello, there are different types of laser therapies available in the market for hair removal. It beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorb the light. That destroys the hair. Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas. Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, and large areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour. Most patients have permanent hair loss after an average of three to seven sessions. And later in few cases, maintenance sittings are also needed in future.

Sun screen can protect you from getting tanned but it cannot remove the tan. De tan your skin with yogurt/lemon/de-tan lotion or with laser treatment. Also, apply neutrogena sun screen every three hours, after cleaning the face.

Homeopathic Treatment For Allergies

Homeopath, Navi Mumbai
Homeopathic Treatment For Allergies

Allergies in simple terms can be explained as increased sensitivity towards certain food items, objects and weather. Allergies can be caused in an individual due to various reasons. The primary sources of allergens are pollen, dusts and dirt, which can cause breathing troubles, asthma and headaches.

Allergies in any form are of two distinct types. First, they are seasonal. It has been noticed that in most cases, one gets an allergy when there is a season change. This is a type of seasonal allergy. Second is the perennial form of allergy wherein an individual gets an allergy from a particular allergy-causing substance all year around. Such allergies include food allergies, dust allergies, skin allergies and the like.

Symptoms

There are certain common symptoms whenever a person catches allergies. These would include itching on several parts of the body including hands, eyes, neck and legs. It would also cause the area to flare up. The skin becomes reddish in colour, owing to the allergy itself and due to the constant itching because of the irritation. Apart from these, water can flow from the eyes or one may experience short of breath quite often. Also, certain allergies are accompanied by asthma.

Diagnosis

The most basic test which is carried out, even while treating allergies through homeopathy, is a blood test. A blood test has the ability to determine whether you are suffering from an allergy or not. It would also help you to figure out the substance that is causing the allergy and at what stage it currently is. This helps in administering the correct medicines so that the allergy is cured fast.

  1. If eczema is suspected, then the doctor advises for a skin patch test to be conducted to know more in detail about the skin condition.

  2. Skin prick test is also carried out at times when needed. Here, a needle pricks the skin with a known allergen. If the skin does not react, then it is a negative test; but if it reacts, then it is a positive test, indicating allergy.

Treatment

There are several homeopathic medicines, which help in curing common and uncommon allergic reactions. Some of the popularly prescribed ones include the following:

  1. Histamine for those allergic to dust and string perfumes

  2. Sepia for those who are completely or partially lactose intolerant

  3. Nux Vom for those who are allergic to coffee

  4. Nitri-spiritus dulcis for those who are allergic to cheese

  5. Sulphur for those allergic to antibiotics or drugs of any form

Thus, these are some of the common treatments homeopathy prescribes in order to get quick relief from allergies.
