Medications could cause excess flow of saliva. It' s possible that medications you're taking could stimulate salivary glands. If this is not too much of a problem, ignore it or else ask your doctor for change of medication.

Teeth whitening can be done by two methods. 1. Scaling - in this only plaque or calculus deposits (hard yellowish) and stains of tea or coffee are removed. Outcome will be your natural shade of teeth and it does not have any negative effect on teeth or associated muscles. Which is good. Little sensitivity can occur but its temporary; for a wk around. 2. Bleaching- this is tooth whitening which will whiten your teeth. But whitening will last for few months. You can get it few times but after that it may cause teeth sensitivity. Hope you get your answer.

Yellow teeth can be due to various reasons, diagosis is important. You must atleast once go to a dentist to rule it out. Any ways it can b plaque or stains for which scaling and polishing is necessary. Use soft toothbrush. Brush twice daily. You can use whitening toothpaste. There are many brand availabe in market. Need to take x ray for the tooth. To rule out any infections. For temporary relief, take Dolo 650 mg thrice daily for 3 days. Without knowing the exact cause, do not take antibiotics. Do warm salt water gargling.

A mouth ulcer is an ulcer that occurs on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity.[1] Mouth ulcers are very common, occurring in association with many diseases and by many different mechanisms, but usually there is no serious underlying cause. The two most common causes of oral ulceration are local trauma (e.g. rubbing from a sharp edge on a broken filling) and aphthous stomatitis ("canker sores"), a condition characterized by recurrent formation of oral ulcers for largely unknown reasons. Mouth ulcers often cause pain and discomfort, and may alter the person's choice of food while healing occurs (e.g. avoiding acidic or spicy foods and beverages). They may form individually or multiple ulcers may appear at the same time (a "crop" of ulcers). Once formed, the ulcer may be maintained by inflammation and/or secondary infection. Rarely, a mouth ulcer that does not heal may be a sign of oral cancer. But please don't panic. Consult a doctor immediately. Take care.

Dear lybrate-user, the yellowish lining in your teeth is likely to calculus. Calculus is a hard substance that forms on or between the teeth due to inappropriate/incorrect cleaning. Although you are brushing regularly, but the hardened deposits can be only be removed once you get professional cleaning/scaling done from a dentist. This hard substance may also be accompanied by brownish stains, which usually get deposited due to intake of tea/coffee or due to smoking. Kindly get a thorough cleaning done.
