An eye floater in my left eye, how can I remove it using ayurvedic medicine or by exercise. Is it harmful for eye or ...
Most eye floaters are caused by age-related changes that occur as the jelly-like substance (vitreous) inside your eyes becomes more liquid. Microscopic fibers within the vitreous tend to clump and can cast tiny shadows on your retina, which appear to you as floaters. u cannot take them out of ur eye by any medicine..best way to get rid of them is to avoid them...afetr some times they will stop irritating u and one thing more...they are harmless

Hi lybrate-user, pls do not give very long gaps in your meals. There is a long gap between your lunch and dinner meals. Second thing, your are keeping your lunch lighter and dinner is comparitively more than lunch. Better swap your lunch and dinner options as dinner should be lighter. Our metabolism gets sluggish by the end of the day so it takes more time to digest in night. You should also incorporate some of the other herbs like flax seeds, curry leaves etc for your health issues like pcod. Hope this will help. Regards.

Hello Doctor! I have a mole under my eyes (Bumpy) Can you suggest me any home remedy or any cream to remove that mole...
Garlic is one of the most effective home remedies for moles because it contains enzymes that help break down the clusters of pigment-producing cells. Plus, it helps lighten the dark pigmentation. 1. Crush a fresh garlic glove and place it on the mole. 2. Secure it with a bandage and leave it on overnight, or at least for four hours. 3. Do this daily for a few days. The mole will then fall off naturally. This method is said to give positive results with merely five days of daily application. Make sure to disinfect the area with rubbing alcohol or another disinfectant before repeating the process daily. Plus, to protect the skin surrounding the mole, apply some petroleum jelly or oil. Warning: Applying garlic on skin can cause redness and irritation.

Operations done to remove the refractive error (power) of the eyes are known as refractive surgery. There are certain basic criteria that most patients need to fulfill before they can safely undergo refractive surgery. To enumerate, they are: (1) stability of refraction: the power of the eyes should have become stable for a period of 1.5 years minimum without any change. (2) curvature of the cornea should be tested by a technique which is known as topography. (3) thickness of the cornea should be measured by a test known as pachymetry. The minimum thickness required is 550 microns. (4) dilated retina evaluation: this is one of the most important tests that should be performed by a trained retina specialist. This test helps in detection of any offensive lesion on the central or peripheral retina. In case of any retinal abnormality, these should be treated before undergoing the surgery for number reduction. (5) there should be no pre-existent corneal abnormality. (example: corneal scar, opacity, defect, etc.) another important suggestion is that whenever you go for the assessment (the above mentioned tests), you should discontinue the use of contact lenses at least 4 weeks prior to the assessment. The reason for this being that use of contact lens temporarily alters the contour of the cornea. It takes around 3-4 weeks for the restoration of the original corneal contour after removal of the contact lens. Another important point is that you, as a patient, should be compliant to put post operative medication in your eyes for at least 2 months. There is bound to be some discomfort, watering, foreign body sensation, pain after the surgery in most cases-you should be ready to tolerate that. A leave from work for 7-10 days after the surgery should be generally sufficient. Last but not the least, you should set realistic expectations from this surgery. Though extremely rare, there is a remote possibility that the surgery may need to be repeated. Also, the need for subsequent treatment for the eye may be required. Thus, you should be compliant enough to trust and follow your eye specialist.

Helllo 1. Do not worry 2. Lattice signify some weakness of retina 3. In itself it can't damage your vision but yes you are more prone to retinal detachment than other people. 4. Usually we do not treat lattice but if patient insists then we can barrage it with laser.

Hello, What kind of eye problem is there? - Myopia? Have you got your eyes tested? Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like wild salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Hello lybrate-user. If your eyesight remained good for 10 years after the injury, it is unlikely that the cause at present would be due to that injury. Weak eyesight has multiple factors associated with it. To enumerate a few: (1) refractive error- change of the power of glasses is the commonest cause of weak eyesight. In fact, if you have not used glasses previously, it might be possible that you might need to use them now. (2) age related changes in the lens of the eye-this is generally known as cataract. This is present in varying proportions in a majority of population above 55 years. This means that some degree of cataract is usually found in the age group over 55 years. (3) retina problem-different degenerations of the retina usually lead to weakening of the eyesight. The degeneration may be caused due to progressive age. It may also occur due to a high minus number of the eye (myopia). (4) cornea related problem- cornea is the anterior (front) part of the eye. Certain issues with the cornea may cause weakening of the eyesight. Thus, it would be a good idea to consult an eye specialist in person and get your eyes evaluated for the cause of weakening eyesight. Hope my suggestions help. Feel free to contact me for any other details that you might require. Take care, regards,-

Visual gain depends on where, how n how much of the retina has been damaged. If u have had some inflammation our 8n fiction which has healed and left some scarring in retina .it usually will not progress. Some retinal degeneration are stationary n some progressive to blindness. Off u have had retinal detachment, with central retina off...The visual prognosis is guarded with risk of long term complication. .but benefit in preserving some functional vision in the eye. If u can share further details it will be easier to answer u

Use contact lens for that on occasions. However, lasik is best and safe option to go for. The procedure takes hardly 15 minutes to complete and has least chances of complications. Its also cheaper nowadays.
