Me having pain in my back due to disc problem. What should I do to take Relief from this pain.
Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily ..Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall.. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Hello, there are several causes of joint pain such as arthritis , osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, sprains , strain, bursitis, fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome etc. please share more of symptoms so that i can make diagnosis. Now she can take Rhus tox. 200, 5 drops in the morning and bryonia 200, 5 drops daily evening. Five phos , 4 tabs twice daily. Revert with feedback.

Avoid pain killer. Drink 10- 12 glass of water start any calcium n vit e for 15 days. &do some exercise regularly you will be all right.

From last 4 yrs, my stomach feel start anxious about something and it heads towards my heart and I feel like I can die at any moment because of heart attack or loss of breath. I always suffered back ache and neck ache. When I do certain exercises of breathing, I always feel breathlessness with shivering of hands and legs. When I rolled down my head exercise, I started feeling fainting and also fainting normally. I always fear of heights, snakes etc and when I heard a sound, my mind alerted me very fast and heartbeats started rapidly. Due to this, I also feel to commit suicide as no way of getting out of this. Excitement also leads me into rapid heartbeat. All the time, I feel tired and lonely. Also I feel difficulty in removing negativity and memory loss is quite regular. Is their any medication or some test or any special concern. Kindly help me out.

Hi lybrate-user, it seems you are suffering from panic anxiety. There are not tests for this since its entirely due to brain acitvity and no deformity. Its an anxiety disorder and sure shot curable. It has two modes of treatment first is medication for which you should visit a good psychiatrist second in case of anxiety and dissociation ((fainting)) psychotherapy helps a lot where in you will be taught to manage your anxiety through exercises and be master of your mind for which you can consult with me or any other psychologist. Do not worry suicide is not option, when medical attention is available to you. All the best. Seek treatment asap.

Nowadays its bcause of your profession and improper posture you had a chance of getting pain. So please correct your posture such that your spine must be always in straight erect position. Then start stretch your spinal muscles and abs. Keep icing for relaxing your muscles, sttegthen your back and abs muscles.

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs . Core Strengthening Exercises. Take frequent Breaks at work Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

I have fat in my tummy. I had do walking and some exercise and diet too. But I have some problems on my knee, so doctor tell me don't do any exercises that should straining to the knee. Later it become osteoporosis. please suggest my some good exercises to reduce tummy and that do jot straining to the knee? please suggest a workout from youtube. please plz.

Dear, *Swimming takes most of the gravity out of the equation and is gentle on all your joints. You can perform most of the swimming strokes to swim laps of the pool, tread water or just move around as you please to exercise without impact on your knees. Avoid any strokes that cause discomfort, and swim continuously for at least 20 minutes so your heart rate is elevated and the fat burning effects of the exercise take hold. *The bench press, shoulder press, rowing movements, biceps and triceps exercises and abdominal work helps to build lean muscle, which helps burn fat. Set up a series of exercises in a circuit to increase the calorie burn even more. Use caution with leg exercises and lift your feet off the floor if you turn while holding a weight so you don’t twist your knee.

Until pain's cause is well assessed, nothing specific can be advised. Pl write some history, med taken, tests done etc. However if you can eat more Sahinjana veg, it's useful. Keep bowels clean by period intake of Erand sneh. Take fried purw asafoetida powder+ Caraway powder +ghee in between food and follow drinking warm water. Do janubasti/ JANUDHARA at home. What is the age of your father? investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days,please inform.

My advice to you would be as much as possible avoid pain killers and look for natural aids. Also keep in mind about the postures you have been using as this will play a key role in control of the symptoms. Homeopathy on the other hand will take care of your spondylosis and also give you permanent cure without any side effects.

Homoeopathic medicine------ rhus tox 30 (sbl) drink 2 drops in 1 spoon fresh water 3 times daily---------------- vitamin-d plus (bakson) chew 1 tab daily--------------- doing stretching exercises and yoga or aerobics is a must in your case not only in winters but throughout the year and try to have a control on your eating habits and weight------------------------

I am 43yrs female. Having severe shoulder pain in both the shoulders. Since past few mths movements have also bcome restricted. I also am taking thyroid and cholesterol tablets. Hysterectomy done 6yrs back. Also have general body pain. Please help.

You may be suffering from frozen shoulder. It is quite common in patients who are hypothyroid. Get your thyroid tests done to see if the levels are in normal range. Also get vitamin d and uric acid levels done fasting and revert back with reports.

Back pain has become very common these days because of daily life style and day today activities. It can be due to various reasons any injury, muscle strain eg-sudden twist while lifting object, bad posture, overuse of muscle or any internal disease like spondylitis, infection etc. Many of the problem occurs for which we are not aware. Health problem usually occurs because of living style and bad / incorrect sitting/standing posture. After looking at your pain I am recommending you some precautions and treatment that will be very effective. Precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Sit in chairs or car seats with proper back support. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back like sidelying. 5. Get enough vitamin d from sun as vitamin d keep bones strong including spine. 6. Drink plenty of water to enhance the inter vertebral disks 7. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 8. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. 9. Avoid stress full activity. When pain is less or no pain make a habit of morning walk atleast for 20 minutes to get fresh air in body which is really beneficial to keep fit and healthy. Meditations is an extra advantage along with walk. Physio care: I would recommend you for i-care treatment that is especially for back or neck pain. Rest required but it doesn't mean a complete bed rest. Do not over exert your body. Work take rest and then work so that you do not feel tired and started paining. Treatment- 1. Apply ice or heat which ever suits you directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apply it for 10 to 15 minutes only. 2. Relaxing for 5 minutes after ice or heat treatment. Massage - ask someone to massage your painful area using fingers or thumb. Massage using kneading technique. Slightly press the thumb and start rotating as it helps to induce relaxation, relieve pain, and reduce levels of stress chemicals, such as cortisol and noradrenaline. It will give you pain relief for time being. 3. After massage again relax for 5 min and apply any pain relieving ointment eg - volini or oraflame gel etc. Make sure not to do massage with the gel, it should not penetrate the body. Just a topical application of gel should be done. 4. Again relax your body for 5 minutes and perform some normal back extension and hamstring stretching exercises to get relief from your pain. While performing exercises if pain occurs then would recommend you to stop doing exercise. Massage or slightly rub the painful area and consult your near by physio to diagnose the actual cause of the pain as he/she can guide you proper exercise plan which will be beneficial for you after checking grade of your back pain.

Do hot fomentation twice daily. Postural correction- always sit with a small pillow at your low back. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises like bridging and bhujang asana x twice daily. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees. And get vit d levels checked. Go for regular walks follow 30-30 rule when at work. After every 30 min of work. Do 30 sec of stretching or stand and walk a bit.
