Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Spending long hours at your desk in front of a computer screen, with a compromised diet and work pressure can put a lot of strain on your mental and physical health. With these tips, you can ensure optimum health and well-being in your professional life.

1. Keep water handy: 

Carry a bottle of water and be sure to hydrate yourself at regular intervals. This way, you’ll be able to maintain healthy oxygen flow in your body, especially the brain, and keep drowsiness at bay. Flavored water or fruit-based waters are interesting ways to drink more.

2. Stick to home-cooked meals:

 Nothing substitutes a wholesome homemade meal. You’ll be sure that you’re not consuming any artificial flavors or preservatives, using only as much sugar, salt and/or spices as needed, which are otherwise put in excess and can affect you adversely. Plus, you can customize your meal with healthy favorites. Cook big batches during the weekend, and freeze for use through the week.

3. Don’t be too hard on yourself: 

Work is important, but you’ll not be able to give it your best with a tired mind and body. Don’t work over lunch break, and close your eyes and relax for a few minutes every hour. This clears your mind and keeps you active. Here are some other ways to establish a healthy and calm workplace routine.

4. Invest in your comfort: 

Make easy ergonomic adjustments. Get a comfortable chair and place the mouse and keyboard as close together as possible. Mind your posture. Your back should be aligned against the chair, and avoid hunching or leaning forward.

5. Go easy on the caffeine: 

Gulping down several cups of coffee/tea to keep you awake at work, is not doing you any good. Caffeine consumption is linked to several health issues such as a speedy heartbeat, high blood pressure, anxiety, restlessness, and irritability. Yes, it tastes divine and gives you an instant energy boost, but can also cause a quick energy crash. What’s more dangerous, however, is caffeine addiction. Stick to a cup or two, at most. Here are some healthy alternatives to keep you up and running all day long.

These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Snoring self-help tips: •Maintain a healthy weight and diet. Being overweight by just a few kilograms can lead to snoring. Fatty tissue around your neck squeezes the airway and prevents air from flowing in and out freely. •Try to sleep on your side rather than your back. While sleeping on your back, your tongue, chin and any excess fatty tissue under your chin can relax and squash your airway. Sleeping on your side prevents this. •Avoid alcohol before going to bed. Alcohol causes the muscles to relax more than usual during a normal night's sleep. This added relaxation of the muscles makes the back of the throat collapse more readily, which then causes snoring. •Quit or cut down on smoking. Cigarette smoke irritates the lining of the nasal cavity and throat, causing swelling and catarrh. If the nasal passages become congested, it's difficult to breathe through your nose because the airflow is decreased. •Keep your nasal passages clear, so that you breathe in through your nose rather than your mouth. If an allergy is blocking your nose, try antihistamine tablets or a nasal spray. Ask pharmacist for advice, or see GP, if you're affected by an allergy or any other condition that affects your nose or breathing, such as sinusitis. Commercial stop-snoring devices There are a range of stop-snoring treatments and devices on sale. These include nasal strips, which open the nostrils wider, throat sprays and devices known as mandibular advancement devices (MAD), which reposition the jaw to ease airflow.

The first trimester of your pregnancy is the most important phase. During this phase your body undergoes various physiological and psychological changes and your baby’s major organ developments also happen simultaneously. You need to exercise certain precautions during the first trimester to avoid any serious health complications. What you do during the initial three months defines the health and wellness of your baby and that of yours too. Here are things that you should do during this trimester to ensure a smooth ride ahead. Things to do during your first trimester: • Get your required number of calories from all food groups, not just fat! Include variety of foods in the diet like whole grains, pulses, legumes and nuts. Meat, poultry, eggs and fish also provide protein. Make sure you get your calcium from milk or other food. Take 600 ml of milk or milk products every day for the calcium content. Eating during pregnancy • Get your dose of vitamin D through food like egg yolks, tuna, salmon, fortified milk, fish liver oil, or through exposure to sunlight. • Increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids. They are necessary for the development of your baby’s brain, nerve and eye. • Take iron and folic acid supplements as prescribed by your doctor. It is important during the pre-conception and early pregnancy phase because this is when the foetus develops spine and nerve cells. • Eat frequent, smaller meals. The baby needs to be fed constantly so eat every two to three hours. • Gain weight gradually. For the optimal growth of your baby you should gain around 0.5- 2 kg in the first trimester. Get some exercise. Regular gentle exercise can help ease or prevent back pain, boost your energy, build stamina and help you prepare for the physical changes of labour and delivery. • Don’t miss your visits to the doctor. Your prenatal check-ups are your window into the womb and they help detect any issues early and can be corrected in most cases. • Increase your fluid intake. Blood volume needs to increase during pregnancy to facilitate oxygen and nutrient delivery to both you and your baby. • Get lots of sleep. Hormonal changes also make you feel worn out. So make it a point to get few naps whenever possible. • Cut down on caffeine. Large amounts of caffeine consumption and an increased risk of miscarriage have been linked in some studies. Things to avoid on your first trimester • Don’t take any medication unless necessary. Medicines taken by you can cross the placenta and enter the bloodstream of your baby. Hence it’s best to know the safety of any medications you’re taking during pregnancy – especially in the first trimester. • Don’t be too adventurous with food. Foods to be avoided during pregnancy include raw/undercooked meat, soft cheese, seafood and raw eggs. They could be possible sources of harmful bacteria and parasite. Reduce your exposure to environmental pollutants. According to a study, women exposed to elevated levels of ozone air pollution (smog) in the first three months of pregnancy may be at increased risk for complications such as preeclampsia and premature birth. • Quit smoking. Passive and active smoking during pregnancy increases the risk of health and behavioural problems in the baby and is linked to infant mortality. • Don’t drink alcohol. Alcohol can cross the placenta and reach your baby’s bloodstream. Excessive drinking impairs the mental and physical development of your baby, in what is known as foetal alcohol syndrome. Don’t get stressed, depressed. High levels of stress can affect the unborn baby’s health and increase your chances of miscarriage. • Don’t go on diet while you’re pregnant. You may end up with deficiency of iron, folic acid, vitamins and minerals which can potentially harm you and your baby. • Don’t use hot tubs/ sauna. They can raise your core body temperature which can cause dehydration and threaten the developing baby.

Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins leg pain happens when your muscles are tired or dehydrated. Drink more water if you're prone to leg cramps. Also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps. Pleas check you calcium and magnesium levels.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago, with stage1 (2.2cm). Her nodes were clean. After complete breast surgery she was given chemo. Now at the same time, there was a lump of 5 mm on lower left lung which has now grown to 1.1cm. Doctor has taken that out now. Now the histopathology of the tissue is concluded at metastatic breast cancer. My question if the old tumor was removed at a stage 1, how come it had spread to lung? Metastatic takes place in stage3 /4. Is it possible the biopsy is wrong? What should we do here?

Dark circles are because of lack of nutrients. Sleep and weakness. So take proper nutrients and drink plenty of juices and sleep for atleast 7 hours a day. Drink 7-8 glasses of water every day.

Some times for developing acidity, maintaining proper imings only not enough. That depends on the how your food intake, quality of food. Like is it spicy/oily/fast food/junk food/etc all try to maintain bland diet, with less oil& spices. Avoid taking outsided food, snacks, etc take minimum 3-4 litres of water daily. Taking atleast 1/2litre in morning with empty stomach will help alot in gneeral as cleanser for body. Try to take more fruits, dates, sprouts, millets. Diary products like milk, curd, butter milk. Do not drink water while eating, just before easting& immediatey after eating. There should be a ga[p of 1/2 hr minium before or after for break fast/ lunch/dinner. Try to take heavy break fast, medium as lunch & less as dinner. Try to avoid rice consumption in night. Do exercises regularly, like walking, jogging, gym, sports, whatever you can but regularly, practicing yoga. Mediatation/pranayama will five good results in keeping mind/body equilibrium. All the best. If still complaint is there, then you need to take medicines accordingly, but I feel you do not need rt now medicines now.

Hello, do regular exercise. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before and with meals. If you are non vegetarian include egg fish and chicken in your diet. Take small and frequent meals. Fennel seeds can give you relief from other indigestion symptoms like gas and bloating, too. •Add one teaspoon of crushed fennel seeds to a cup of hot water and let it steep for eight to 10 minutes.
