Weight loss has two components: 1. Healthy balanced diet 2. Exercise Follow the following tips:- · Pay close attention to your food choice. · Eat less carbohydrate food sources like chapatti, rice, noodles, pasta, bread etc as they help in gaining weight and storing fat. · While having lunch or dinner eat vegetables and dal to fill your stomach rather eating lots of chapattis or rice. · Have a healthy breakfast like poha, idli, upma, plain dosa, oats, dalia or khichdi with vegetables. · Eat a balance diet including good quality proteins like: fish, lean chicken and eggs. If you are a vegetarian then include skimmed milk, low fat paneer, butter milk, soy bean or soy milk in your diet. · Avoid ghee, butter or vanaspati. Prepare your diet with vegetable oil like sunflower, safflower soybean or olive oil. · Eat plenty of salads. · Eat fresh fruits including apple, orange, pineapple, papaya, sweet lime, berries, guava, watermelon, mask melon etc. · Avoid eating outside junk and fried foods like pizza, pasta, roll, burgers, cakes, chocolates and cookies. · Have an early dinner. The earlier the better, giving your system more time to digest the food. · Avoid cold drinks/alcohol as they add empty calories to your diet. · Avoid fat enriched milk products like cheese, sweets, full fat cream etc. · Drink 3 liters of water in a day. · Try to have less sugar in food and beverages. · Try to drink 2 cups of green tea in a day as green tea helps in weight loss by aiding digestion. · Avoid red meat like mutton, beef, lamb or pork. · Eat sprouts or roasted chana, whenever you feel hungry. Exercise: Combination of cardio-vascular exercises and weight training can bring effective weight loss along with the diet. Running, jogging, cycling, swimming and dancing are some best forms of cardio-vascular exercises which burn fat instantly. Working out with dumbbells, push-ups, pull-ups, weight lifting are the exercises which help to tighten the loose muscles and shape your body.

-cut down your diet by 25%. -work out for 45 minutes and increase it 60 minutes later. -you may join a gym 3 days a week and do yoga (surya namaskar specially) on the other three days and take one day break. -eat protein if you work out. -yoga will keep your body from getting stiff with gym work out. - do cardio exercises more to loose more.

I have itchy scalp and scaly patches on backside of my scalp. I have consulted skin specialist and she said I had fugal infection. She gave me keratone oil for scalp and kevon lotion as shampoo. halox lotion to be applied overnight and washed in the morning. In how many days can I get rid of it completely. Please suggest me if I had to take further medicines.

Atleast 21 days is compulsory in your case. But apart from that you need to boost up your immunity. Take well planned nutritious diet . Drink plenty of liquids daily. Practice yoga exercises daily. Avoid spicy oily and junk food. Avoid over stress and late night sleep. For better results you may also start with ayurved treatment.

Healthy weight gain means more increase in muscles and to a certain extent fat in order to support those muscles. Just eating anything or high calorie foods will result in only fat gain which will not give you a proper body shape and will also be detrimental later in life. A diet high in protein and adequate carbohydrate in necessary. In order to achieve a healthy weight you should know what you have to eat and how much to eat.

Eat lot of protein containing food. Per day requirement is 1.2 gm of protein for you. Don't eat junk foods. Eat 20% protein, 25 % fats and remaining carbohydrates. Less sugar. For heart beats meditation and relaxing breathing tecniques.

Hi. Do regular exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before meals. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take small and frequent meals. Use your time at home to graze regularly. Several small meals and snacks may seem more manageable than three large meals. Dried fruits, seeds, cheese and nut butter are nutritionally rich and calorie dense. Snack on a 1/4 cup of raisins for about 110 calories; spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter on a medium banana and consume almost 300 calories; and have an ounce of cheddar cheese with just seven woven wheat crackers for 233 extra calories. Add one or all of these snacks daily to pile on a pound in a week.

Several things can be done to prevent cold: -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/boiled eggs without yolk with milk). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat.Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily. -Complications like infections of ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Cough- For dry cough.Take syrup Alex-D.(1 tsp thrice daily) -Productive cough:it brings up mucus from behind the throat or lungs.Use syrup Alex. -Get chest xray done if cough lasts for more than a week and consult doctor immediately. -Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily
